Hilary Swank In Parker – ‘Wetten, dass..?’

Hilary Swank In Parker - 'Wetten dass'

Hilary Swank made a stunning appearance on German television show ‘Wetten, Dass..?’ on Saturday night (February 22).

Wearing a leather skater style dress by Parker, the Hollywood actress oozed sexiness.

The tailored cut of the dress and short length is perfect for someone as toned as Hilary while the intricate cut-away detailing of the leather is both pretty and mesmerising.

While I can see why the peep-toe shoe boots have been chosen to complement the edginess of the dress, I really think they let the look down. A pointed pump would have been just as cool and would have added a more sophisticated, sassy dimension. But what do you think?

Abercrombie & Fitch ‘The Making of a Star’ Spring Campaign Party

Abercrombie & Fitch 'The Making of a Star' Spring Campaign Party

A host of young musicians and actors attended the Abercrombie & Fitch ‘The Making of a Star’ Spring campaign party on Saturday (February 22) in Hollywood.

Zelda Williams: ‘Teen Wolf’ actress Zelda Williams looked the epitome of modern sophistication at the party. Wearing a marble print Robert Rodgriguez Spring 2014 mink skirt and matching boxy jacket layered over a crisp white Caitlin Power top, the look was fresh and modern without being too formal and the colours are great for Zelda’s skin tone. To finish, Zelda chose a cool metallic box clutch and complementary shiny BCBG Max Azria heels for a look that was both youthful and chic.

Debby Ryan: Celebrating her appearance in the ‘Making of a Star’ campaign, actress Debby Ryan chose a cute blue and white printed Abercrombie & Fitch romper for the Hollywood party. It’s a simple and fun look that works well for Debby and the event. Understated strappy sandals and loose waves in her enviably glossy hair were all Debby needed to ensure her look encapsulated just the right amount of polish.

Sazan Barzani: Adding a hit of colour and print to the red carpet, Sazan Barzani looked effortlessly chic at the Abercrombie & Fitch party. Oozing with natural beauty, the young star teamed her Peter Pilotto for Target dress with a suitably edgy pair of pointed black heel. My only change would be to swap the rather drab nude leather bowling bag with a sleek black clutch. Do you agree?

Roberto Cavalli Fall 2014 Front Row

Roberto Cavalli Fall 2014 Front Row

Normally one to draw a big A-list crowd, it was surprising to see so many British stars on the front row at The Roberto Cavalli Fall 2104 show.

Cheryl Cole: Continuing her style re-invention, Cheryl Cole attended the show in a statement-making exotic animal-print mac. With her hair slicked back, a heavy smoky eye and polished accessories it was a dramatic look but I actually quite like it. Not only perfect for the Milan culture, it really suits Cheryl and is great to see her try a more grown-up look.

Ellie Goulding: If there’s one hue to wear this season, it is blue. So it was great to see Ellie bring a dazzling hit of the on-trend shade to the front row in a floor-length Roberto Cavalli gown. Combined with the 70s-style loose flowing cut, it was a look that really suited the British singer. Following from Ellie’s questionable Vivienne Westwood dress at the 2014 Brit Awards, this is a look which really suits Ellie’s bohemian aesthetic and one I think she should stick to.

Samantha Barks: British actress Samantha Barks channelled the true Cavalli woman in a black corseted top with high-shine gold waist belt and animal print pencil skirt. Sexy and empowering, I think Samantha’s shoes are the perfect finishing touch for this simple yet effective red carpet look.

Naomi Watts In Christopher Kane – Bulgari Fall 2014 Accessories Presentation

Naomi Watts In Christopher Kane - Bulgari Fall 2014 Accessories Presentation

Making a glamorous appearance in Milan, Naomi Watts joined the fashion pack at the Bulgari Fall 2014 Accessories Presentation yesterday (February 23) in the Italian capital.

The Australian actress chose a strapless Christopher Kane Pre-Fall 2014 dress with bandage style pattern and accessories with a spectacular collar necklace

To me, it’s hard not to look good when you’re wearing such amazing diamonds but sadly the dress didn’t seem to fit quite right which is a shame as it’s really quite a unique dress and the colour is perfect for Naomi.

That aside, I think Naomi oozes sophistication and her chic up-do and soft sultry make-up up further cement this fact.

Alexa Chung In Valentino – International Woolmark Prize

Alexa Chung In Valentino - International Woolmark Prize

Alongside style legends Frida Giannini and Franca Sozzani, Alexa Chung turned judge during Milan Fashion Week as she and other fashion stars chose the winner of the hotly anticipated 2014 International Woolmark Prize.

Wearing a Valentino Pre-Fall 2014 cape dress cut across her shoulders and printed with intricate butterflies, the look was a refreshing update on Alexa’s usual preppy feminine style and I thought it was great to see her try new prints.

Typically, Alexa’s styling was minimal but it was great to see her hair blow-dried and her signature lick of eyeliner complemented the 60s feel of the dress.

To finish, Alexa chose a pair of nude strappy suede pumps. While they ensure the cape isn’t over-styled, to me the colour is just wrong. A pair of black and maroon pumps would have been so much more in-keeping and would have added an extra dimension to this look which I think it really needs. Do you agree?

Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2014 Front Row

Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2014 Front Row

Just like the understated luxury seen on the runway, the front row at Salvatore Ferragamo’s Fall 2014 show was suitably elegant and star-studded and helped bring Milan Fashion Week to a close in true Italian style.

Hilary Swank: Hollywood mega-star Hilary Swank brought the star power to the Italian powerhouse’s front row. Wearing a beautiful Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2014 cream satin pleated dress with belt buckle, she oozed glamour and grace. Cut perfectly, the dress was kept understated with a pair of Salvatore Ferragamo python pumps which although pretty uninspiring, helped to keep this look suited for the day.

Alison Brie: Also wearing a top-to-toe look by the iconic Italian label, ‘Mad Men’ actress Alison Brie added a pop of spring to the front row. Opting for a Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2014 white strapless pleated dress, Alison looked refreshingly modern and injected a welcome dose of colour with Salvatore Ferragamo pink suede heels and a Ferragamo pink, black and orange leather clutch. I think this is a great look for Alison and a great front row look for Milan.
