Amy Adams In Gucci Première – Oscars 2014

Amy Adams In Gucci Première - Oscars 2014

Amy Adams looked divine taking to the red carpet for the 2014 Oscars on Sunday (March 2) held at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, California.

I didn’t think she would do blue again after dazzling us so spectacularly at the SAG Awards, but lightening can indeed strike twice.

Amy took my breath away wearing a custom Gucci Première sapphire silk crepe tuxedo-inspired gown featuring a fitted bodice and train.

I love these classic screen siren moments she has been giving us; I will find it hard to pick my favourite from awards season.

Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Collection jewels, including ruby stone earrings, and a sweeping updo completed her look.

Lara Spencer In Kaufmanfranco – Oscars 2014

Lara Spencer In Kaufmanfranco - Oscars 2014

Before playing red carpet host, Lara Spencer struck her own pose at the Oscars 2014, hosted today (March 2) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

For the occasion, she wore a white Kaufmanfranco column gown with a keyhole cutout. Taking embellishment to the extreme, the dress featured rows and rows of beautiful white stones and beading.

With such intricate decoration, her dress doubled as jewelry. Still, she accented it with a complementary pair of diamond earrings, which were all the more visible with her hair pulled into a loose updo.

Even with the maximum adornment, the light colour prevented the look from becoming too weighted down.

Brooke Anderson In David Meister – Oscars 2014

Brooke Anderson In David Meister - Oscars 2014

The first to arrive on the red carpet for the 2014 Oscars red carpet at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre tonight (March 2) were none other than the television hosts.

Entertainment Tonight correspondent Brooke Anderson arrived wearing a cobalt blue, one-shoulder, lace David Meister gown. She accessorized with a Tasha box clutch, Dior shoes and oversized earrings by XIV KARATS.

Cobalt blue has been wildly popular lately placing Brooke right on trend. Otherwise the dress is only so-so. The ruching in the midsection and lackluster cut makes her look more like she’s heading to prom than the Oscars and the earring doesn’t pair well.

We know you’re working but step it up a notch. This is the Oscars!

Louise Roe In Pronovias – Oscars 2014

Louise Roe In Pronovias - Oscars 2014

Louise Roe was one of the first celebrities to walk the red carpet on Sunday (March 2) at the 2014 Oscars, hosted at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.

Louise, host of ‘Fashion Star’ stunned in an green Pronovias gown.

As a style expert, Louise certainly knows what works on her figure, as did the emerald design. The one-shouldered dress had a Grecian-like style that was made all the more glamorous with a delicate lace sleeve.

Louise punctuated her Oscars look with a bangle and show-stopping chandelier earrings from Chopard and a gilded clutch by Kara Ross NY.

To add to the Greek goddess style, Louise ever so correctly opted for loose waves and a sun-kissed makeup palette.

Giuliana Rancic In Paolo Sebastian Couture – Oscars 2014

Giuliana Rancic In Paolo Sebastian Couture - Oscars 2014

Giuliana Rancic made an elegant first impression at Oscars 2014 in Los Angeles tonight (March 2).

The E! host wore a blush-hued Paolo Sebastian Couture from the Fall 2014 collection.

While red carpet hosts are never going to get as much attention as the stars themselves, Giuliana looks absolutely beautiful and definitely deserves praise for her gown choice.

The lace appliqué bodice and layers upon layers of pleated tulle of the skirt are the perfect pairing.

A sleek chignon and dramatic smokey eye complete the look and ensure that ‘G’ can hold her own next to the big names she’ll be interviewing tonight.

Best Dressed Of The Week – Naomie Harris In Valentino, Adrien Brody In Dolce & Gabbana and Michael B. Jordan In Dior Homme

Best Dressed Of The Week - Naomie Harris In Valentino, Adrien Brody In Dolce & Gabbana and Michael B

This week we loved Naomie Harris who wore a gold Valentino gown to the NAACP Image Awards 2014.

She had a stellar week, but this best of a very chic bunch.

When it came to the fellas, you were drawn to Adrien Brody’s red shiny Dolce & Gabbana suit, while I opted for the more classic Dior Homme look served up by Michael B. Jordan.
