Zoey Deutch In Rodarte – Marie Claire’s Fresh Faces Party

Zoey Deutch attended Marie Claire’s Fresh Faces event on Friday (April 21) in West Hollywood.

Despite the hyper-embellished nature of this Rodarte Fall 2016 lace blouse and skirt, what with its dimensional floral paillettes and fanciful embroidery, it maintained a sense of light, delicate whimsy.

My admiration is centered more on the look from the waist up, given the granny-panties shape of the skirt from afar.

But she styled it all beautifully, with effortless waves and a rose-pink lip along with sheer lace pumps that played into the ensemble perfectly.

Haley Bennett In J. Mendel – Tiffany & Co. 2017 Blue Book Collection Gala

Haley Bennett joined Ruth Negga at the Tiffany & Co. 2017 Blue Book Collection Gala on Friday (April 21) in New York City.

With a whoosh of dreamy femininity, she wore a J. Mendel Fall 2017 tiered tulle gown in a complimentary shade of sky blue.

Rosy makeup contributed a youthful glow to the look, with Tiffany & Co. jewels adding the requisite sparkle that such an event as this demands.

Kiernan Shipka In Erdem – FX’s ‘Feud: Bette And Joan’ FYC Event

Kiernan Shipka coordinated beautifully with the colour palette at FX’s ‘Feud: Bette And Joan’ FYC event on Friday (April 21) in LA.

Pretty in pink was an understatement for the starlet and her Erdem Pre-Fall 2017 frock, a vivid pink brocade number with a flounced, high-low hem.

I love the girly yet smart romance of the look, which was heightened by the long red bow at the back along with Kiernan’s styling—from her wispy bun to the floral-embellished silver heels that served as a brilliant complement to the dress.

Ruth Negga In Gucci – Tiffany & Co. 2017 Blue Book Collection Gala

Ruth Negga took a walk on the wild side at the Tiffany & Co. 2017 Blue Book Collection Gala on Friday (April 21) in New York City.

With a nod to the retro sensibility we’ve seen her favour before, this metallic leopard-print look married charm with cheekiness.

The Peter Pan collar and bow-embellished peplum provided the sweet, vintage aura while the embroidered roaring cat on the back added some unexpected sass.

Was the look a bit over-styled with the black stirrup tights and the stunning Tiffany necklace? Perhaps. But, the OTT flair translated as charismatic rather than chaotic.

Rebecca Hall In Gabriela Hearst – ‘Permission’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

Rebecca Hall attended the premiere of ‘Permission’ during the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday (April 22) in New York City.

Spring hasn’t quite sprung for the actress who donned a Gabriela Hearst Fall 2017 forest-green frock, which demonstrated the designer’s penchant for tailored minimalism.

However, I much preferred the more modest—yet still sensuous—teardrop neckline than this wider version on her.

Wearing the tea-length dress as presented on the runway, with Gabriela Hearst flatforms, she stayed true to the original vision which put the look on quirkier ground rather than a sleeker offering.

A light dusting of Monique Péan jewels finished the ensemble.

Anne Hathaway In Luisa Beccaria – The Late Late Show with James Corden

Anne Hathaway made a guest appearance on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’ on Thursday (April 20) to promote her latest movie, ‘Colossal’.

Fashioned from pure silk and decorated with an exquisite butterfly and floral print, this Luisa Beccaria Spring 2014 dress has a bygone elegance.

Anne’s continued to set the sophistication barometer high with glossy waves and a bright red lip.

This might be my favourite look so far. Even moreso than the Armani Prive gown.
