Elle Fanning In Marchesa – ‘Lowdown’ LA Premiere

Elle Fanning In Marchesa - 'Lowdown' LA Premiere

Elle Fanning attended the premiere of ‘Lowdown’ held at ArcLight Hollywood on Thursday (October 23) in Hollywood, California.

The young brunette star wore one of the heroine pieces from Marchesa’s Spring 2015 collection with Forevermark Diamonds.

The nude tulle off-the-shoulder mermaid gown enriched with trickling floral embroidery, a draped bodice and blouson sleeves was the one I was dying to see on the red carpet.

Did it live up to my expectations?

Yes, I have to say.

This romantic modern-gypsy offering is very much Elle’s red carpet M.O.: pretty, delicate and oozing with plenty of charm and grace.

The expectation would’ve been that this gown would wash her out, but I believe the all-over embroidery and rosy glow prevent that.

Sienna Miller In Erdem – International Medical Corps’ Annual Awards Dinner Ceremony

Sienna Miller In Erdem - International Medical Corps' Annual Awards Dinner Ceremony

Sienna Miller attended the International Medical Corps’ Annual Awards Dinner Ceremony held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Thursday (October 23) in Beverly Hills, California.

Embracing this season’s mood for dark romance, the British actress wore an elegantly bejewelled Erdem ‘Anja’ sleeveless cloqué dress featuring an angular folded neckline with a black sheer organza yoke and velvet waistband.

On this rare occasion there was no hint of her beloved boho style, with the hair left to fall loose around her shoulders, bow-front peep-toes and a rich complementary rouge lip colour rounding out her look.

I love the effortlessness of this look. It’s been a while since I was this enamoured by a Sienna Miller look.

Nieves Alvarez In Roberto Cavalli Couture – Elle Style Awards 2014

Nieves Alvarez In Roberto Cavalli Couture - Elle Style Awards 2014

Nieves Alvarez attended ‘Elle Style Awards 2014’ held at the Italian Embassy on Thursday (October 23) in Madrid, Spain where the supermodel was on hand to present Roberto Cavalli with the ‘Best International Fashion Designer’ award.

The Italian designer lived up to the title creating this breath-taking midnight-blue beaded Couture gown which Nieves styled with a Roberto Cavalli sparkling tassel accented bag and Bvlgari jewels.

While some might say this is nothing new from the designer, for me, this is still one of those magic red carpet moments I live for.

Bravo all round.

Charlotte Olympia ‘Handbags For The Leading Lady’ Launch Dinner

Charlotte Olympia 'Handbags For The Leading Lady' Launch Dinner

Charlotte Olympia hosted an intimate evening of cocktails followed by dinner to celebrate the launch of the new leather handbag collection ‘Handbags for the Leading Lady’, held at Toto’s Restaurant on Thursday (October 23) in London, England.

Naomi Campbell: The supermodel was decked out in a beautiful black lace sari injected with a fiery red trim. Black and red appears to be a favourite colour combo for the supermodel and it works to dazzling effect again on this occasion. Her look was of course styled with a Charlotte Olympia ‘Astaire’ bag.

Paloma Faith: The British singer was of course wearing Dolce & Gabbana, opting for the brand’s signature animal-print fitted dress, which will never go out of style. Adding touches of red via her Charlotte Olympia ‘Dolly’ pumps, lips and nails, the singer completed her sexy temptress look with a gold Charlotte Olympia ‘Astaire’ bag.

Alice Eve: The British actress didn’t opt for high glamour like Ms Campbell and Faith, opting instead for a chic smart-casual look consisting of easy black separates, with a Richard Nicoll Fall 2013 cape playing the central role in this look. Alice was lucky enough to get her hands on the Charlotte Olympia ‘Bogart’ bag top-handle bag, which comes with a matching pair of gloves.

No doubt this bag will be heading to Dita von Teese soon in every colourway.

During Paris Fashion Week I got to see this collection up close. The images are below.

You can pre-order the bags from Charlotte Olympia’s website.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Temperley London – Action on Addiction Autumn Gala

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Temperley London - Action on Addiction Autumn Gala

Stepping out for a third time in the past three days, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge attended the Action on Addiction Autumn Gala Evening at L’Anima on Thursday (October 23) in London, England.

The mum-to-be wore a Temperley London Pre-Fall 2014 black dress which was modified from the look book version to have more of a flared skirt.

Her long curled brunette hair, kohl-rimmed eyes, jewels and matching black clutch and pumps completed her look for the night.

I kinda admire this look for its more modern feel, yet I’m not excited by it, especially when the styling and her hair is so familiar.

Who Wore Chanel Better…Keira Knightley or Astrid Berges-Frisbey?

Who Wore Chanel Better Keira Knightley or Astrid Berges-Frisbey

Keira Knightley wore a vintage Chanel navy dress with white trims including bow detailing to the Los Angeles premiere of ‘Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit’ back in January.

While hardly an exciting choice for an LA premiere, this ladylike look did suit Keira to a tee.

Fellow Chanel ambassador Astrid Berges-Frisbey wore the same dress during Deauville American Film Festival in September for the ‘I Origins’ Photocall.

Sadly, her styling fails to impress. The shoes give the look a matronly feel, the necklace overcooks the look and I am missing the second bow at the waist.

Keira wins this for her more favourable styling.
