Heather Graham In Naeem Khan – ‘Goodbye To All That’ New York screening

Heather Graham In Naeem Khan - 'Goodbye To All That' New York screening

Heather Graham attended the ‘Goodbye To All That’ New York screening held at the Highline Ballroom on Monday (December 8) in New York City.

The actress wore a Naeem Khan Spring 2014 strapless frock with a flared skirt emboldened with colour stripes.

After her last two grey and white looks, I’m delighted to see her embracing colour on this occasion.

The look is bursting with energy, even though she opted for simple nude pumps.

If you are having a case of déjà vu, that’s because we’ve seen Nina Dobrev and Padma Lakshmi rock these same colourful stripes on the red carpet.

Emily Blunt In Dolce & Gabbana – ‘Into The Woods’ World Premiere

Emily Blunt In Dolce & Gabbana - 'Into The Woods' World Premiere

Emily Blunt attended the ‘Into The Woods’ world premiere held at the Ziegfeld Theater on Monday (December 8) in New York City.

Considering the title of the movie, Emily’s bewitching Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2015 dress feels rather apt.

I love how the delicate point d’esprit bodice and sleeves counter the enchanting heavily rose-embroidered full skirt in this fairytale piece.

The dramatic nature of the look was amped up with a glossy red lip, with the rest of the styling including Louboutin pumps and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.

Serving up a double dose of Dolce, John Krasinski suited up in the Italian brand, donning a brown suit. Yep, brown suit are in my friends.

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Goat & Tory Burch – Northside Center, Wildlife Reception & Cavaliers vs Brooklyn Nets NBA Game

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge In Goat & Tory Burch - Northside Center, Wildlife Reception & Cavaliers vs Brooklyn Nets NBA Game

On the second day (December 8) of the official visit of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, to New York City the Duchess took part in gift wrapping with volunteers while visiting the Northside Center for Child Development in Harlem before attending a Wildlife reception meeting Hillary and Chelsea Clinton and taking in the Cleveland Cavaliers vs Brooklyn Nets NBA game.

Northside Center: Greeted by the First Lady of New York, Chirlane McCray, who wore Nanette Lepore, Catherine wore a black 60s-style Goat coat edged with beige trim at the neckline, cuffs and back. Styled with tights, a Mulberry clutch and black pumps, the coat is practical, versatile and utterly timeless.

Wildlife Reception & Cavaliers vs Brooklyn Nets NBA Game: Later that evening the future King and Queen of England met the King and Queen of New York (Jay-Z and Beyoncé Knowles). The Queen wore a Tanya Taylor Fall 2014 printed blouse and black Herve Leger pencil skirt, which she styled with a Louis Vuitton bag, while the Duchess opted for black trousers and the same black pumps, making her Tory Burch ‘Bettina’ boucle coat the focus of her look. The tailored piece is classic tweed, easy to wear and streamlined with a cut that is universally flattering, covering her baby bump and ensuring she stays warm in the cold weather.

For what she was doing, her looks are as always appropriate, but like I said yesterday, I’m longing for a more glamorous occasion during this trip to see what she delivers.

Lady Gaga In Valentino – 37th Annual Kennedy Center Honors

Lady Gaga In Valentino - 37th Annual Kennedy Center Honors

Lady Gaga walked the red carpet during the 37th annual Kennedy Center Honors at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (December 7) in Washington, DC.

Before changing into a galactic and glittery metallic performance number, she swept onto the scene in a decidedly refined number that I happened to love for its streamlined sleekness.

The custom Valentino white gown was an elegant and refined selection for the entertainer, as was fitting for the event. Yet it was also suitably accompanied by the requisite Mother Monster flair, what with a dramatic cape embellished on the inside with a constellation of silver stars.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Gaga look without her particular brand of exaggerated styling, this time accomplished with a platinum blonde bob, rhinestone eyebrows, and an exaggerated set of faux lashes.

She was like a futuristic Marilyn Monroe.

Evangeline Lilly In Emanuel Ungaro – The Hollywood Walk of Fame Honoring Sir Peter Jackson

Evangeline Lilly In Emanuel Ungaro - The Hollywood Walk of Fame Honoring Sir Peter Jackson

Evangeline Lilly was back in action at The Hollywood Walk Of Fame Ceremony for Sir Peter Jackson held on Monday (December 8) in Hollywood, California.

Taking a quick sidestep from her promo tour for ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies,’ she celebrated the ‘Hobbit’ director in an Emanuel Ungaro Fall 2014 frock that undoubtedly stole a few stares away from Sir Peter’s star.

Exuberantly scattered with a pop-art-inspired, broken rose print, the bubblegum-pink dress was brave and slightly brash, topped off with bold-shoulder sleeves and a hip-high slit.

With such a loud design at the forefront, she opted to keep the styling as simple as possible nixing any sign of jewels and wearing only a black pump.

This was such an unexpected look to see on Evangeline. I’m still not sure what to think, except that I wouldn’t have worn it to this particular event.

Love or loathe?

Julianne Moore In Alexander Wang – ‘Still Alice’ Special Screening

Julianne Moore In Alexander Wang - 'Still Alice' Special Screening

Julianne Moore attended a special screening of ‘Still Alice’ hosted by cinéma privé and PANDORA Jewelry at CAA in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (December 7).

The actress, who has been hot and cold lately with her red carpet looks, was firmly in lukewarm territory in an Alexander Wang Spring 2015 ombre-effect dress that also trended on the sporty side with its shiny ribbed texture.

Actually, as I try to find something I like about this look, I’m coming up pretty short. I am not crazy about the rather unflattering, bulkier silhouette or the styling for that matter.

The messy ponytail, nude sandals, and subdued makeup also firmly fell on the side of lacklustre in my book. She can do so much better.
