Emily Blunt In Oscar de la Renta – ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ London Photocall

Emily Blunt In Oscar de la Renta - 'Edge of Tomorrow' London Photocall

Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt will try to repeat their day, as they do in the upcoming movie ‘Edge of Tomorrow’, by attending three premieres in three different countries in just one day.

The groundbreaking feat will start with the London premiere tomorrow (May 28) at 10am (which I am excited to be attending) before moving on to Paris and New York.

Even though they will be repeating their day, I am pleased to inform you that Emily will be changing for each premiere.

Emily started the promotion of the blockbuster movie in London on Sunday (May 25) by attending a photocall on top of the Trafalgar Hotel with the city serving as a picturesque backdrop, wearing an Oscar de la Renta dress featuring precise vertical seams which give way to a full, beautifully feminine bell silhouette on this floral-patterned design.

Navy Rupert Sanderson pumps and a selection of jewels accessorized her look, with a chic updo providing the finishing touches.

Best Dressed of The Week – Aishwarya Rai in Roberto Cavalli, Ryan Gosling in Gucci & James McAvoy in Burberry Tailoring

Best Dressed of The Week - Aishwarya Rai in Roberto Cavalli

I hope you all had a great Memorial and Bank Holiday weekend.

BDOTW was very hard this week, with several BDOTY contenders on this week’s list.

My finger hovered over Jessica Chastain in Atelier Versace, Aishwarya Rai in Roberto Cavalli, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Gucci Première and Sonam Kapoor in Anamika Khanna before settling on Aishwarya Rai.

Purely because the drama of the look was on another level – and by your votes it would appear you agree – plus, the dress still gives me goosebumps a week on, and it’s not often I can say that about a re-run.

When it came to the fellas our opinions differed. You went for Ryan Gosling in Gucci sans tie, whereas my heart said Channing Tatum, as always, but my head said James McAvoy in Burberry Tailoring.

Sofia Coppola In Marc Jacobs – Palme D’Or Winners

Sofia Coppola In Marc Jacobs - Palme D'Or Winners

Sofia Coppola attended the Palme D’Or winners during the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival on Sunday (May 25) in Cannes, France.

The jury member, who stuck to basic black and navy throughout this festival, opted for something new on this occasion.

Sofia wore a Marc Jacobs Spring 2014 leaf-print T-shirt gown featuring sequinned and embroidered appliqués.

Before you start cheering this embrace of colour and print, this is a re-run.

You may remember that Drew Barrymore wore this same frock as a maternity dress while attending the CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards back in March.

You can buy Sofia’s Marc Jacobs Breadfruit Silk Jersey Gown from
Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom Saks.com and Saks.com UK.

Li Yuchun 李宇春 In Chanel Couture – Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Li Yuchun ??? In Chanel Couture - Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Li Yuchun presented the Short Film Special Distinction award during the Closing Ceremony of the 67th Annual Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 24) in Cannes, France.

Changing out of her custom Givenchy Couture look, the Asian superstar wore a Chanel Fall 2012 Couture ensemble featuring a feathered long-sleeve top and textured wide leg pants.

Opting to go sans belt was a good idea here.

It’s great to see her in a colour other than black, however, I can imagine some vivid blues and multi-colour Peter Pilotto-style prints would look just as good on her.
