Nieves Alvarez In Elie Saab – ‘Yo Dona’ International Awards 2017

Nieves Alvarez attended the ‘Yo Dona’ International Awards at the Palacio de los Duques de Pastrana on Monday (June 19) in Madrid, Spain.

This Elie Saab Spring 2017 sequin gown is evocative of disco nights and glamorous evenings.

I love the strategic placement of the star design which emphasizes the waist and the grown-up fairy-tale aesthetic which is imbued by the bright blue hue.

Some of you are over these embellished gowns, but for me Nieves breathes fresh life into the tried-and-true red carpet formula.

When I comes to Nieves’ Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and Yliana Yepez bag I feel they are perfectly complementary, however, I wish she’d taken cues from the runway and had some more fun with her accessories. That goes for the Bulgari jewels too.

Rita Ora In Osman – Out In New York City

Rita Ora’s traffic-stopping potential was at its pinnacle when she was spotted out and about in New York City on Monday (June 19).

Bedecked in a neon, lime-green Osman Pre-Fall 2017 suit, she couldn’t have been missed from near or far as she lit up the sidewalk with her bright, striking style.

Rita is no stranger to exploring oversized, menswear-inspired influences. And the same goes for this ensemble with its boxy, tailored jacket and chain detail.

Yet, the structured appeal managed to stay firmly in place, especially with the slimmer trousers. The metallic sandals were also a good choice to lengthen the silhouette and allure.

Jennifer Fisher hooped earrings completed her look.

Was this green look a go or a no for you?

Ana de Armas In Osman – ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Barcelona Photocall

Ana de Armas was also at the ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Barcelona photocall with Sylvia Hoeks on Monday (June 19).

Like Sylvia, she also showed off her style-forward sensibility in an Osman Pre-Fall 2017 ensemble that combined the label’s impeccable tailoring with a dose of darling fun.

I love the flirty sweetness this floral mini paired with the slim, straight-laced cigarette pants.

A softly tousled updo added to the girly romance while Giuseppe Zanotti heels ended the look on a sharply sophisticated note.

Sylvia Hoeks In Loewe – ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Barcelona Photocall

Sylvia Hoeks attended the ‘Blade Runner 2049’ photocall in Barcelona on Monday (June 19).

I was immediately fascinated by her Loewe Spring 2017 look that combined the seductiveness of corsetry styling with the sway of a more homespun peasant skirt.

The end result delivered an intriguing edge of feminine allure, especially when styled with her high sandals, statement earrings, and waterfall blonde waves.

Experimental elegance at its finest. Would you agree?

Olivia Munn In Diane von Furstenberg – Proactiv Event

I couldn’t help but gravitate towards Olivia Munn’s electric-sapphire statement for a Proactiv event on Saturday (June 17) in New York City.

What didn’t resonate quite so well was how dangerously high this signature Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress was spliced.

The flash of panties had to have been nearly unavoidable, as it seemed as if the fabric just fell short of fully wrapping round.

Matching Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ heels created a seamless look, with a lovely cherry-red lip to finish out the vibrant colour story that was quite stunning on the dark-haired actress.

In theory, I still loved the look for its striking shade and delightful femininity. It’s a shame about the slit.

Juliette Binoche In Ingie Paris – 31st Cabourg Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Juliette Binoche attended the closing ceremony of the 31st Cabourg Film Festival on Saturday (June 17) in Cabourg, France, alongside Marion Cotillard.

The actress’s penchant for black was clear as she donned a classic Ingie Paris Pre-Fall 2016 jumpsuit. Looking polished and poised, she teamed her simple outfit with messy curls and an edgy smoky eye.

I love the effortless feel of this ensemble and the draped trouser.

This may not be Juliette’s best red carpet appearance (especially after her run during Cannes), but she still manages to give us Parisian chic.

What do you make of this look?
