Sarah Jessica Parker to wear Christian Lacroix Fall 2009 Couture, Christian Dior Fall 2008 Couture & Hérve Léger Spring 2010

Her alter-ego Carrie Bradshaw has had some of the most stylish moments of the last decade so Sarah Jessica Parker sure knows how to dress.

Thomas has brought a new kind of wish to RCWL by adding accessories for the SATC star.

Thomas said, “Well I wanted to do something a little different so I put an entire look together for Sarah/Mrs. Bradshaw/Big.”

“I love this Fall 2009 Christian Lacroix Haute Couture suit just full of glamour and I think that Sarah is one of the only people that could pull this look off in real life-minus the head scarf.”

“I would pair it with the Hérve Léger Spring 2010 clutch. The clutch just has a structural elegance to it and is well matched with the suit and the shoes- with those you don’t need another wow factor, just something simple yet chic. This clutch is enough.”

“Then there are the Christian Dior Fall 2008 Couture shoes. They are just a statement in themselves and well, I love them!”

Thomas I love that you thought about a head-to-toe look, and I also like that you didn’t pick anything too cutesy for SJP.

As much as I like your choice of dress, I’m drawn to those heels….did I say drawn I mean I’m drooling over those heels.

Chloe Sevigny to wear Dries Van Noten Spring 2010

Chloe Sevigny loves to mix it up combining vintage finds with high-end goods. She oozes cool and YSL Girl has chosen something she’d love to see Chloe play with.

YSL Girl said, “I would love to see Chloe Sevigny wear anything from Dries Van Noten Spring 2010. Because she takes so many risks, I would love to see her attempt to pull off the antique colour printed skirt and have her team it with the top from the second look!”

This was one of my favourite Spring 2010 collections, and I’m delighted that YSL Girl has wish for Chloe to wear these pieces as she wouldn’t make them too complicated.  She would wear them with ease and confidence.

I fear we won’t see much of this collection on the red carpet, but I hope I’m wrong.

Emily Blunt to wear Elie Saab Spring 2010 & J. Mendel Fall 2009

This Elie Saab look has proven popular on our Wish List page and a shortened version of the metallic dress was recently chosen for Beyonce, but Jake would like to see it worn by English rose Emily Blunt.

Jake said, “I immediately knew that Emily would do the Elie Saab dress justice. It would make her glow and Emily always looks fabulous in floor-length dresses. She has a history of dressing to the nines on the red carpet and both the Elie Saab and the J. Mendel will enhance her assets in all the right places.”

“Simply put, both dresses are magnificent.”

I agree, but being a huge Elie Saab fan, I would naturally love to see this worn by Emily as she often likes to wear embellished looks.

Taylor Momsen to wear 3.1 Phillip Lim Resort 2010

Vera has a strong opinion on Gossip Girl’s Taylor Momsen like we all do.

Vera said, “A couple of days ago while surfing the Internet I found some of Taylor’s earlier pictures and was simply in shock”.

“She is so pretty! This girl is so pleasantly beautiful! Who the hell made her dress and look like she does these days?”

“I know thanks to Ricardo Tisci – HE IS AMAZING – Gothic girls are so-hot-in-town. But honestly this kind of style suits somebody very rarely and it definitely isn’t the one for Taylor Momsen.”

“The latest 3.1 Phillip Lim Resort collection has already featured in RCWL for Michelle Williams, but as for me I really feel the pieces from this collection are absolutely those that will make bad-girl Taylor a really lovely Taylor. A nice, beautiful girl with her own breathtaking character.”

I wish to see the old Taylor back to, so I really hope you get your wish Vera.

My favourite look is the one with the blazer.

Leighton Meester to wear Stella McCartney Spring 2010

Youthful Leighton can pull of most fun looks and that is exactly what Clara wants to see – Leighton dressing her age in a playful Stella McCartney dress.

Clara says, “I would love to see Leighton Meester in this Stella McCartney Spring 2010 as the look is so feminine and beautiful I could so see Leighton in it.”

“The fabric is just amazing and it’s sweet but funky enough for her.”

Leighton has been wearing a lot of edgy looks, so this beautiful look would be really refreshing.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz to wear Narciso Rodriguez Spring 2010 & Armani Privé Fall 2009 Couture

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s look has graduated from a teen rocker to an often punk-inspired yummy mummy but Laura wants to see her in something more sophisticated.

Laura said, ‘I’m tired of seeing Ashlee Simpson-Wentz in the punk rock groupie look. She has so much potential that we rarely see.”

“I’d like to see her in things like this Narciso Rodriguez and Armani Privé too. These looks still have an edge and dramatic side that Ashlee likes but are more red
carpet ready and less rock band concert looking.”

Diane Kruger to wear Givenchy Spring 2010

Diane Kruger’s style is so spot-on that this wish from Grace came as more of an apology as Diane is so frequently featured.

Grace said, “I’m awfully sorry for another Diane Kruger look for RCWL, but I just saw this Givenchy minidress designed by Riccardo Tisci. Diane is always flawless in her style and this dress is really like her- feminine with an edge.”

I couldn’t agree more Grace. Diane would work this dress flaunting Givenchy greatness!
