Women In Film 2017 Crystal + Lucy Awards

A group of talented beauties turned out for the Women In Film 2017 Crystal + Lucy Awards were held on Tuesday (June 13) in Beverly Hills, California. As Max Mara were a presenting sponsor, there were many looks from the design house on the red carpet.

Brittany Snow
: I love the playfulness of the oversized polka dot motif in Brittany’s summer-ready frock and its darling nod to retro styling with the centre midriff cutout and bow at the bodice.

Zoey Deutch: While Zoey also wore a monochromatic colour palette, her cream gown struck a much more dramatic chord with its asymmetric, black ribbon sash. But it was Zoey’s oxblood lip and gigantic spherical earrings that really intensified the darker glamour of this sculptural statement.

Women In Film 2015 Crystal + Lucy Awards Red Carpet Roundup

More lovelies were in attendance at the Women in Film 2015 Crystal + Lucy Awards, hosted at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Tuesday (June 16) in Los Angeles, California

Kate Mara: The actress enlivened her sweetly chic Max Mara LBD with Bionda Castana ‘Daphne Bis’ camouflage pumps for a quirky flair that was far preferred over black pumps.

Mena Suvari: I wish her slightly unkempt hair had the same feminine, refined polish as the Naeem Khan Fall 2015 black lace-embellished dress and black Jerome C. Rousseau heels.

Angie Harmon: I loved the ultra-refined simplicity and effortless elegance of this streamlined Max Mara red gown in which silver metallic accents including a wrist cuff and Kotur clutch put just the right amount of flash into this minimalist statement.

Nicole Kidman In Nina Ricci – Women in Film 2015 Crystal + Lucy Awards

Nicole Kidman was at the Women in Film 2015 Crystal + Lucy Awards at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Tuesday (June 16) in Los Angeles, California, where Kristen Stewart and Sandra Bullock were also in attendance.

The actress, who was honoured with The Crystal Award for Excellence in Film, wore a glittering Nina Ricci all-over sequin dress, which was quite striking on her statuesque frame even if the sleeves seemed a smidge too long.

Sadly, the styling needed an upgrade.

While the full collection of rings and watch were completely unnecessary given the sparkle factor of the dress, the Brian Atwood ‘Avice’ reptilian sandals were just a complete miss and had no business being anywhere near this look.

Kristen Stewart In Proenza Schouler – Women in Film 2015 Crystal + Lucy Awards

Kristen Stewart In Proenza Schouler - Women in Film 2015 Crystal + Lucy Awards

Kristen Stewart joined Sandra Bullock at the Women in Film 2015 Crystal + Lucy Awards at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Tuesday (June 16) in Los Angeles, California.

Donning neither Chanel nor a mini dress, the actress indulged her edgy side in a Proenza Schouler Fall 2015 black slashed matte viscose knit top and black chiffon eyelet embroidery skirt.

Despite the sexier sheer and the skin-baring elements, the ensemble had a sophisticated, sultry allure that was only enhanced by a sharp pair of Sophia Webster ‘Coco Flamingo’ pumps.

But she lost me at the lopsided hair, as I wish she had left the experimentation for another day and opted for a sleeker style. A bolder lip would have been lovely, too.

Sandra Bullock In Monique Lhuillier – Women in Film 2015 Crystal + Lucy Awards

Sandra Bullock attended the Women in Film 2015 Crystal + Lucy Awards at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Tuesday (June 16) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress has really turned a new page in her style book, this time radiating feminine allure in a Monique Lhuillier Fall 2015 dress.

The soft glamour of this piece was in the shimmering effect of the asymmetrical midnight-navy bodice and amethyst floral jacquard skirt, which she emphasized further through Jack Vartanian black diamond earrings and her centre-parted curls.

Yet again we see another showing of the Stuart Weitzman ‘Legwrap’ sandals here. They wouldn’t be my first choice, given the more ladylike silhouette of the dress. But I actually liked them more in side profile with this look.
