Rose McGowan In Reem Acra – Backstage @ The 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards

Rose McGowan had a second look which she wore backstage at the 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards which took place at the Hollywood Palladium in California on Sunday.

She showed-off even more leg by wearing a Reem Acra mini dress.

Her satin red mini dress with floral embroidery was paired with nude patent heels and emerald Adeler earrings.

The only thing she kept from her red carpet look was her perfect pink pout.

Amy Poehler In MaxMara – 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards

Most Summery Award
I’m a sucker for a summery yellow dress, worn during the appropriate months so I was drawn to Amy Poehler at the 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards which was held in LA yesterday.

The actress was glowing wearing a yellow MaxMara chiffon cocktail dress.

She wore the dress with the now Hollywood standard nude pumps courtesy of Stuart Weitzman and Kara Ackerman bangle.

Her easy, breezy summery look was complete with wavy blonde locks and a deep pink lip-shade.

Kristen Bell In Etro – 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards

Best Arm Candy Award
Kristen Bell arrived on the red carpet at the 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards which took place at the Hollywood Palladium in California yesterday with her beau Dax Shepard.

The ‘Burlesque’ actress wore gunmetal grey Etro dress.

Her one-shoulder dress was paired with gold Casadei pumps and Neil Lane jewels.

Whilst I do love the embroidered detail on the dress, I prefer Kristen when she’s wearing sugary sweet dresses, so this look isn’t really working for me.

What I do love is her fringed Jimmy Choo ‘Cecile’ bag.

Olivia Wilde In Chloé – 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards

Finally, A Colour Other Than Black Award
Olivia Wilde ended her depressing run of wearing only black gowns on the red carpet at the 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards which was held in LA yesterday.

The ‘Cowboys & Aliens’ star opted for a minty Chloé Resort 2012 gown.

Her pleated dress with a keyhole detail was paired with cream Raven Kauffman Couture embroidered clutch and grey Jimmy Choo ‘Crown’ peep-toes.

Unfortunately it’s not enough that Olivia didn’t wear black as she fails to breathe any life into this look.

She’s missing her mojo. It’s been lost since she started the promo tour for her latest movie.

Brittany Snow attended the 2011 VH1 Do Something Awards which took place at the Hollywood Palladium in California yesterday.

She wore a Camilla and Marc sleeveless dress with a flared skirt.

Her silver animal print dress was paired with a very interesting pair of golden Giuseppe Zanotti ankle strap pumps.

The most interesting about the heels are the fin-like details on the back.

Super sleek straight hair and complementary subtle jewels completed her look.
