Asia Argento In Alberta Ferretti – “Carnage” Venice Film Festival Premiere

Regular readers will remember Asia Argento as one of the jury members from the 2009 Cannes Film Festival.

The Italian actress opted for a very sexy look on the red carpet for tonight’s “Carnage” Premiere during the 2011 Venice Film Festival.

She wore a custom Alberta Ferretti gown.

The draped black strapless chiffon dress with a tulle skirt and lace inserts perfectly shows off her seductive personality and gorgeous legs.

A simple updo with a few pieces framing her face, plus emerald earrings and a Ferragamo gold metal minaudière with black leather geometrical patterns completed her look.

Natasha Poly In Gucci – “W.E.” Venice Film Festival Premiere

Natasha Poly fulfilled the supermodel quota on the red carpet for the “W.E.” Venice Film Festival Premiere this evening.

The blonde beauty looked sensational wearing a fuchsia pink Gucci gown.

Many of you have expressed fatigue when it comes to this collection, but I find the colour and her styling refreshing.

I’m glad she didn’t opt for the shrug as Jennifer Lopez already wore this gown with the shrug to the 2011 Met Gala.

Andrea Riseborough In Christian Dior Couture – “W.E.” Venice Film Festival Premiere

No one will be saying, “Who is Andrea Riseborough?” after tonight’s “W.E.” Venice Film Festival Premiere.

The English actress blew her co-stars away by wearing a stunning lemon Christian Dior Couture strapless gown.

It’s great to finally see the top half of this gorgeous Haute Couture Fall 2009 embroidered tulle and satin gown which was presented by a half-dressed model.

Her English Rose milky complexion is perfect for look.

Andrea didn’t want to be in the shadow so I applaud her for daring to going big on this occasion.

Big wavy locks, Chopard chandelier earrings and a gold Raven Kauffman Couture ‘Garbo’ clutch complete her breath-taking look.

Madonna In Vionnet – “W.E.” Venice Film Festival Premiere

Madonna, who’s known to take herself too seriously, opted to have some fun tonight on the red carpet for the W.E. Venice Film Festival Premiere.

The singer/director wore a custom baby blue Vionnet gown.

Her red butterfly embellished dress was complemented by red glitter Miu Miu sunglasses and matching lippie.

Madonna styled her in victory rolls to evoke a 40s mood which is really working for her.

I’m pleasantly surprised by Madonna.

She hasn’t looked this good since the Met Gala.

Abbie Cornish In Atelier Versace – “W.E.” Venice Film Festival Premiere

I asked for Abbie Cornish to go big for the W.E. Venice Film Festival Premiere and she didn’t let me down.

The Australian actress graced the red carpet wearing a breath-taking Atelier Versace Spring 2011 gown.

It’s the one we’ve all been waiting for.

I personally had it set aside for Penelope Cruz, but Abbie more than does this look justice.

The silk organza petals have a rich ombre effect which goes from black to deep purple.

Abbie dazzled in silver jewels whilst sweeping her hair over one shoulder.

Thanks to this film festival I can officially strike two Versace gowns of my red carpet wish list.

Kate Winslet In Victoria Beckham – “Carnage” Venice Film Festival Premiere

Kate Winslet was radiant on the red carpet for her “Carnage” Premiere during the 2011 Venice Film Festival this evening.

This was a classic case of one British talent supporting another as Kate wore a Victoria Beckham Fall 2011 dress.

It’s not the gown I was quite expecting, but this Film Festival is throwing up a lot of interesting choices so far.

Kate’s dark sand dense rib jersey dress with an open neck also has a signature rose gold zip running along the back.

She wore her hair up in a high ponytail to show of those amazing earrings which were equally matched with sparkling Jimmy Choo ‘Viola’ sandals.

The dress fits like a glove and I’m thankful that she’s broken her black dress run.
