Paz Vega In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture – ‘Lao Pao Er’ Venice Film Festival Premiere & Closing Ceremony

Paz Vega In Ulyana Sergeenko Couture - ‘Lao Pao Er’ Venice Film Festival Premiere & Closing Ceremony

Paz Vega joined Elizabeth Banks, Elisa Sednaoui and Diane Kruger on the red carpet for the closing ceremony and ‘Lao Pao Er’ premiere during the 2015 Venice Film Festival on Saturday (September 12) in Venice, Italy.

I tried not to write this Ulyana Sergeenko Fall 2015 Couture dress off instantly, but it feels so drab for the occasion.

This look only gets a pass waist up, the skirt is so matronly and the shoes are a disaster.

She can do so much better.

Elizabeth Banks In Emilia Wickstead – ‘Lao Pao Er’ Venice Film Festival Premiere & Closing Ceremony

Elizabeth Banks In Emilia Wickstead - ‘Lao Pao Er’ Venice Film Festival Premiere & Closing Ceremony

Elizabeth Banks joined fellow jury member Diane Kruger for the closing ceremony and ‘Lao Pao Er’ premiere during the 2015 Venice Film Festival on Saturday (September 12) in Venice, Italy.

Opting to go big for the her last hurrah, the actress wore a gorgeous bright red Emilia Wickstead Fall 2015 gown.

As always I was swept away by the attention to detail and high glamour, but the gown did lose some of its appeal once the skirt parted to reveal a central slit.

It might not be favoured by all, but I loved the addition of the pearl-accented Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch. It provided an interested contrast to her princess-like gown.

Diane Kruger In Valentino Couture – ‘Lao Pao Er’ Venice Film Festival Premiere & Closing Ceremony

Diane Kruger attended the closing ceremony and ‘Lao Pao Er’ premiere during the 2015 Venice Film Festival on Saturday (September 12) in Venice, Italy.

The German actress wore a Valentino Fall 2015 Couture gown which was sheer opulence personified.

Gothically glamorous she amped up the dark drama with a black rhinestone clutch and purposely messy braid.

While this isn’t my favourite of her five looks during this festival, it possess the grandiose glamour we expect from a European Film Festival attendee – and that is all I ask for.
