Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kaya Scodelario attended the “Wuthering Heights” Venice Film Festival Premiere earlier this week.

The British model and actress wore a Burberry one of a kind lace gown.

My attention went straight to her feet, because it’s clear she’s wearing black pumps.

Why? I wish I knew because it ruining everything which is good north of her ankles.

I also wish her metallic Burberry Fall 2011 leather clutch was a bit smaller.

Kay added De Beers Lea necklace and bracelet to complete her look.

You may remember that Kate Bosworth donned a dress made from the same material last year.

Sveva Alviti posed at the “Alice” & “L’Arrivo Di Wang” Venice Film Festival Photocall held at Palazzo del Cinema over the weekend.

The Italian actress and model was radiant wearing a white brocade Lanvin Resort 2012 mini dress.

Her beautiful dress features a bateau neckline, cinched waist and draped sleeves.

She opted not to wear the white ribbon belt that the dress was originally styled with.

Red accessories including a leather clutch and tie-up peep-toe heels provided a delightful pop of colour.

I’m a huge fan of this colour combination which also included diamond and ruby red earrings.

This is a gorgeous, elegant and modern look.

Keira Knightley was spotted around Venice Film Festival looking summery, sophisticated and effortlessly chic.

She opted to wear an Orla Kiely Resort 2012 navy shirt dress with gold buttons and flared skirt.

Tabitha Simmons ‘Evie’ loafers matched her tan belt which cinched in her tiny waist.

On this occasion she sported a wavy hairstyle with a side parting, rose pink lips and Ralph Lauren cat-eye shades.

I love her when she’s on this type of form. I’m even starting to love the pout.

Andrea Riseborough joined Abbie Cornish at the Lancia Café during the 2011 Venice Film Festival on Friday.

The British actress, who is in Venice to promote her movie “W.E,” chose this off-white Stella McCartney Resort 2012 dress which is embellished with mini white bows all over.

Andrea accessorized her cute look with white shades, a black and gold chain strap quilted bag and nude peep-toe ankle booties.

From the ankles up, I adore this look but the shoes definitely ruin it for me.

They don’t match or complement the colour of the dress and are a completely odd choice for such a pretty, dainty look.

Abbie Cornish was spotted at the Lancia Café during the 2011 Venice Film Festival on Friday.

The actress chose this floral Emilio Pucci Resort 2012 maxi dress.

The summery blue and mint green printed keyhole dress features white broderie anglaise trim along the bodice and skirt.

Abbie chose not to add any accessories to her look which I think was a good idea since this dress already has a lot going on.

She wore her hair down and rimmed her eyes with bright blue liner.

I’m not sure whether it’s just the dress but I’m not a fan of this look at all.

Her hair is lifeless and flat and I think the makeup is too heavy for such a light, summery look.

I wish she had opted not to wear such a dark lip colour.

Tonight Selma Blair attended the Venice Film Festival Premiere of her latest movie, “Dark Horse.”

She wore a red Lanvin crepe gown from the Fall 2011 collection with Bvlgari jewels.

The pictures from this event aren’t particularly flattering from any angle which is huge shame because this look had a lot of potential.

I picked a picture with movement so you could see the shape of the gown.

What I really dislike about this look are those darn heavy satin pumps. They have no place being near this fluid gown.

But the final nail hits the coffin when you see the back.

Like I said the pictures aren’t flattering, which is a total shame because she perfected her hair and makeup.
