Anna Kendrick In Miu Miu – ‘The Voices’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Anna Kendrick In Miu Miu - 'The Voices' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Anna Kendrick attended ‘The Voices’ premiere during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival held at Ryerson Theatre on Thursday (September 11) in Toronto, Canada.

Having worn a gown earlier in the week, the actress opted for something shorter and more playful with this head-to-toe Miu Miu look.

I’m instantly drawn to the rich red and violet hues of the devoré top, and the skirt is delightfully short and sassy, but the mirror accents on the clutch and platform shoes pulled this look down a peg or two.

I have no such complaints about the flawless hair and makeup, though.

Get The Look: Rosamund Pike’s ‘Hector and the Search for Happiness’ Premiere Makeup

"Hector And The Search For Happiness" Premiere - 2014 Toronto International Film FestivalCelebrity makeup artist Georgie Eisdell worked with Rosamund Pike to create her look for the premiere of ‘Hector and the Search for Happiness’ held during the 2014 Toronto Film Festival on Sunday.

Georgie said, “Rosamund is a breathtaking beauty so I simply wanted to enhance that, keeping her looking modern and cool.”

Here’s how to get the look.

She prepped Rosamund’s skin with La Mer Soft Cream and La Prairie Platinum Rare Eye Cream. Evening out her skin tone, she used Tom Ford Traceless Foundation Stick.

For that hint of colour on the cheeks, she then used Korres Cheek Butter in Philia Rose then powdered lightly with La Mer The Powder. She then went over her blush with Laura Mercier Powder Blush in Honey Lust.

Her brows were groomed and slightly enhanced with Laura Mercier Cream Brow Gel in Fair.

Rosamund’s eyes were smoky and soft. To create this, Georgie used Bobbi Brown Shadow in Cool Ivory all over the lid to create a flawless base. Then she used Bobbi Brown Shadows in Grey and Toast for that grey/taupe blend. She blended Rosamund’s eyeshadow from the lid up into the crease and then slightly above the crease, also bringing it under the eye to create the smoky effect. She applied two layers of YSL Faux Cils Mascara in Black to finish off the eyes.

The look was complete with Hourglass Femme Nude Lip in Number 4.

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Menswear Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick look at the dapper gents attending New York and Toronto Film Festival premieres this week.

Douglas Booth: The handsome continues to prove why we often hand him a best dressed title each time he steps out on the red carpet. With navy being the colour of the moment in menswear, the actor sets his own pace opting for a green Dolce & Gabbana three-piece suit styled with an Armani timepiece to the ‘Riot Club’ Toronto Film Festival premiere.

Rob Pattinson: The British actor was also staying true to his favourite brand: Gucci. I do love it when guys do something a bit different. Here Rob styles his navy notch-lapel two-button Marseille suit with a navy evening shirt and brown leather lace-ups while attending the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of ‘Maps Of The Stars’ on Tuesday (September 9). The colours couldn’t be more perfect as we slowly move towards autumn and the suit, as always, was a perfect fit. The usual dishevelment gave way to sleeker grooming, so this gets a thumbs up all round from me.

Keira Knightley In Michael Van Der Ham – ‘Laggies’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Keira Knightley In Michael Van Der Ham - 'Laggies' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Keira Knightley attended the premiere of her film ‘Laggies’ at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival on Wednesday (September 10).

For the occasion, the star wore a gorgeous navy-colored custom Michael Van Der Ham gown with black and silver beaded applique detailing, and tulle overlay skirt.

She paired the gown with stunning diamond and pearl jewels and simple black pumps.

Keira wears both the color navy and a boatneck neckline so well, and this intricate and creative look is a fun addition to her arsenal of lovely ensembles during TIFF.

A bright red lip was the perfect makeup choice to go with this gown, and paired with gray-lined eyes and slightly purple-tinged eyeshadow, the makeup look is a total win.

Even a slightly messy, low-slong ponytail, thanks in part to an extremely windy red carpet, doesn’t detract from the lovely look.

Keira Knightley In Stella McCartney – ‘Laggies’ Toronto Film Festival Photocall

Keira Knightley In Stella McCartney - 'Laggies' Toronto Film Festival Photocall

Keira Knightley attended a photocall for the film ‘Laggies’ at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival on Wednesday (September 10).

The lovely star wore a pleated, high-necked Luchadores mask-print dress with asymmetrical ruffle detailing on the skirt from the Stella McCartney Resort 2015 collection.

Stella McCartney definitely knows how to have fun with fashion, and this dress proves it. It’s not every day that a garment with such humor also has such sophistication, but this dress knocks both out of the park.

Keira wears the look beautifully, and simple black pumps were the perfect footwear selection.

A loose updo, smudgy eyeshadow and coral cheeks and lips complete the effect.

Brit Marling In Proenza Schouler & Alexander McQueen – ‘The Keeping Room’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Brit Marling In Proenza Schouler & Alexander McQueen - 'The Keeping Room' Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Brit Marling attended the premiere of ‘The Keeping Room’ at The Elgin on Monday (September 8) during the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada.

Looking to the archives for sartorial inspiration, the actress cut a dramatic profile in an Alexander McQueen Spring 2007 ivory high-waist skirt, emblazoned with a striking black swallow print.

Simplifying the styling of the bird-and-branch piece from its theatrical and historical runway incarnation, she modernized this statement McQueen design with a Proenza Schouler on-trend black crop top.

Brian Atwood heels and a Lee Savage mini clutch accessorized the ensemble, yet it was her beauty approach that really provided the heightened sense of glamour with her glossy blonde locks and intense oxblood-red lip.
