Dianna Agron In Christian Dior – ‘Novitiate’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Dianna Agron was on trend when stepped onto the red carpet for the ‘Novitiate’ premiere during the 2017 Toronto Film Festival on Sunday (September 10).

There isn’t red carpet in the world that hasn’t been graced with a Dior sheer dress and logo boy shorts this year, and the trend is showing zero signs of slowing down.

Is anyone willing to admit that they find this beautifully tulle embroidered Dior Fall 2017 dress breath-taking?

Sorry, but I do. Even though I do wish the band on the shorts had been black like on the runway.

Had the dress been lined it would’ve lost most of its appeal.

The elegant styling enhances the look.

Jennifer Lawrence In Sally LaPointe, Dolce & Gabbana & Valentino – ‘Mother!’ Toronto Film Festival

Jennifer Lawrence appears to have figure out what we’ve all known for some time….variety is the spice of life.

The actress who has been Dior’s biggest devotee in recent years; barely breaking stride during ‘The Hunger Games’ promo tours, opted for three different brands while promoting ‘Mother!’ during Toronto Film Festival.

Photocall: At 27-years-old, your biggest bug-bear has been that Jennifer dresses too maturely. Well, I would say that this exotic Sally LaPointe Resort 2018 look is her most youthful yet. While some might say the belongs on a Moroccan vacation, I would say I love how relaxed and effortless this look feels. The look was styled with Ileana Makri earrings.

Emma Stone In Tom Ford & Brock Collection – ‘Battle of the Sexes’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere & After-Party

Following the HFPA & InStyle TIFF Party I was excited to Emma Stone’s second look for the ‘Battle of the Sexes’ Toronto Film Festival premiere on Sunday (September 10).

Sadly, I was left a little deflated.

I do love the impeccable cut and modern detailing on her Tom Ford dress, but that is about it.

If I’m honest, I think I blonde hair is throwing me off.

At first I thought the dress was washing her out until I saw better pictures, then I wanted to blame the makeup, but the warm amber tones complement the gold accents, so the only thing left is the hair.

Classic white Tom Ford pumps and a Tom Ford gold screw clutch completed her look.

Angelina Jolie In Givenchy – ‘The Breadwinner’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Angelina Jolie made a rare red carpet appearance the premiere of her latest film, ‘The Breadwinner’, during the 17 Toronto Film Festival on Sunday (September 10), which turned out to be a family affair.

We all know the actress’ fondness for all things black, but on this occasion she opted for a simple white top and trousers from Givenchy’s Resort 2018 collection.

The look is very Angelina. Simple and fuss free, styled with Butani diamond hoop earrings and barely – if any – makeup.

A perfect low-key, yet chic look for a day out with the kids.

Jamie Dornan In Prada & Amelia Warner In Alberta Ferretti – ‘Mary Shelley’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Not only were Elle Fanning and Maisie Williams at the ‘Mary Shelley’ Toronto Film Festival premiere on Saturday (September 9), Jamie Dornan and wife Amelia Warner were also in attendance.

Jamie Dornan: The ’50 Shades of Gray’ actor kept it suave and understated in a gray Prada suit that he wore in just the slightest sexy-unkempt way with the white shirt unbuttoned at the top. Tod’s shoes provided a more casual, trendy take on men’s dress shoes.

Amelia Warner: Amelia likewise took a more laid-back approach by wearing an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2017 tapestry suit that will immediately call to mind the pajama trend. The loungewear vibe is difficult to downplay, but she dressed it up in polished form with her pointy pumps and matching burgundy clutch.

Jess Weixler In Marni & Roland Mouret – ‘Who We Are Now’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere & HFPA & InStyle TIFF Party

Jess Weixler attended the premiere of ‘Who We Are Now’ on Saturday (September 9) during the 2017 Toronto Film Festival before heading to the HFPA & InStyle TIFF Party where Emma Roberts was also in attendance.

‘Who We Are Now’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere: While swirling, abstract print of this Marni Spring 2017 dress was intriguing, the standard-issue black pumps kept the look more on an ordinary level.

HFPA & InStyle TIFF Party: Here, the precise tailoring signature to designer Roland Mouret was captured in the sharp lines of this Spring 2017 jacket intriguingly juxtaposed with the flowy movement of the scarf skirt. Yet again, I believe she missed an opportunity to elevate the look with her footwear, sticking to that more uninspiring black pumps.

Bel Powley In Alessandra Rich – ‘Mary Shelley’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Bel Powley joined Elle Fanning at the ‘Mary Shelley’ Toronto Film Festival premiere on Saturday (September 9).

Known for her playful style, the British actress experimented with an Alessandra Rich mini dress. The white frock had details aplenty with silver buttons, a black bow, statement shoulders and lace-insert sleeves.

Some will probably deem the ensemble as too much, but I appreciate the way Bel enhanced the romanticism of the look with her soft makeup and hair.

The black ankle-strap heels grounded the look and prevented it from being too saccharine.
