Jennifer Lopez In Zuhair Murad Couture – 2018 Time 100 Gala

Walking arm in arm with her beau A-Rod, Jennifer Lopez joined a host of celebrities including Yara Shahidi, Millie BobbY Brown, Nicole Kidman, Deepika Padukone and Kesha for the Time 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday (April 24).

The singer was in full JLo mode wearing a breath-taking gold and silver gown from Zuhair Murad’s Spring 2018 Couture collection.

Are you getting a strong case of déjà vu?

I am too.

As we all know JLo can do this kinda look in her sleep, but that doesn’t stop me from being in awe of this moment.

Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a Jimmy Choo box clutch kept up the high shine.

Emily Blunt In Brock Collection – 2018 Time 100 Gala

Emily Blunt showed her support for husband John Krasinski who was honored at the Time 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday (April 24). The couple joined Yara ShahidiNicole KidmanDeepika Padukone and Kesha.

The ‘Mary Poppins’ actress embraced moody florals in a Brock Collection Pre-Fall 2018 number.

She elected for a more modest version by lining part of the bodice in black. Not only does it remove the naked feel, it punctuates the black and ivory blooms in a more sophisticated manner.

Some might think the asymmetrical lace peplum overcooks the look. It’s not the detail that bothers me as much as the placement. Had it been a few inches further down or the angle was adjusted slightly, it would have been stronger.

She accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a Tyler Ellis clutch.

Proving his fashion credentials, John looked debonair in Tom Ford. The metallic sheen in silver jacket popped against his classic white shirt, black pants and bow tie.

Yara Shahidi In Reem Acra – 2018 Time 100 Gala

Yara Shahidi was in attendance at the Time 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday (April 24). She joined Nicole KidmanDeepika Padukone and Kesha.

The actress, who wrote an essay on congresswoman Maxine Waters for the honors, was clad in a Reem Acra Fall 2018 look.

With its drop waist, gathered skirt and contrasting neckline, it was a fashion-forward and playful outfit that was very much in her wheelhouse.

Showing an eye for detail, the whimsical graphic emblazoned on the chest was picked up with her twisted bun and blue eye makeup.

If I must find fault with anything, I wish the trailing neckline bow was angled ever so slightly so it would be more visible in photos.

I’m sure she could have carried off the gloves, but elected to style it simply with Brian Atwood shoes.

Did you miss the gloves?

Nicole Kidman In Proenza Schouler – 2018 Time 100 Gala

Nicole Kidman was one of the attendees at the 2018 Time 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday (April 24). She joined fellow honorees KeshaMillie Bobby BrownDeepika Padukone and Greta Gerwig.

Her look at the 2018 ACM Awards was a miss for the vast majority, so hopefully this Proenza Schouler Fall 2018 ensemble will earn more favorable reviews.

While subdued in colour, it was rich in detail with the sheer and opaque fabrics intermingling.

She wisely opted for a covered bodice to preserve her modesty. The layered effect on the neckline is striking and the uniform colour palette keeps it from feeling contrived.

Oversized grommets trailing down the sides of the skirt and Fred Leighton jewels enlivened the deep layers and played up her blonde hair.

Deepika Padukone In Anamika Khanna – 2018 Time 100 Gala

Deepika Padukone landed a spot on Time’s 100 most influential list, becoming the only Indian star this year to be included in the coveted list.

The ‘Padmaavat’ actor attended the Time 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday (April 24) wearing a bejewelled Anamika Khanna ivory saree, with the designer’s signature delicate floral appliqué work and generous use of satin.

Her look was a glamorous number that exuded strong vibes of femininity that was befitting to the honor and the occasion.

I would love to see more Indian celebrities wearing traditional looks on international red carpets.
