Julianne Moore attended the 2015 Time 100 Gala celebrating the 100 Most Influential People In The World at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Wednesday (April 21) in New York City.

Shining bright like a starry sky, Julianne opted for her favourite hue: black.

I love how her Givenchy LBD served up contemporary polish, thanks to the elegant cape drape and asymmetrical lines.

Basking in the light of her own uniqueness, confidence and natural beauty, the look was styled with a silver Givenchy clutch and those chunky black Givenchy platforms she seems to love.

Emma Watson attended the 2015 Time 100 Gala celebrating the 100 Most Influential People In The World at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Wednesday (April 21) in New York City.

The British actress and UN Women Goodwill Ambassador continued her red carpet approach for serving up ultra chicness, in tailored separates this time from Dior.

Emma’s look is formed of three pieces, but I like how it possesses the effortlessness of an all-in-one with the artfully draped grey detail as the key piece holding this look together – figuratively, not literally.

Modernising the look further with a Eva Fehren cuff and bronzen Rauwolf clutch, the look was completed with satin pumps and a simple updo.

It seems like a lifetime ago in which Emma’s red carpet M.O. was printed mini after printed mini.

Kim Kardashian attended the 2015 Time 100 Gala celebrating the 100 Most Influential People In The World, at Jazz at Lincoln Center, on Wednesday (April 21) in New York City.

I was shocked by the reality star in this Sophie Theallet black eyelet Spring 2015 gown, rendered with gold lame and French lace detailing, for two reasons.

One: She wasn’t wearing those ill-flattering Balmain creations she has been consistently wearing since becoming besties with the designer.

Two: I found myself really loving the look.

Dare I say she was looking quite elegant, gracefully honouring the black-tie event which was honouring her.

Faith Hill attended the 2015 Time 100 Gala celebrating the 100 Most Influential People In The World, at Jazz at Lincoln Center, on Wednesday (April 21) in New York City.

The country singer wore an Armani Prive Spring 2015 black gown rendered in bamboo-pattern lace, which is so very elegant, especially when styled with the obi-style belt, which prevents the look from feeling too boxy on her.

Styling the look with Lorraine Schwartz black diamond studs, black diamond braided bracelet and black diamond rings, I wish she’d opted for some eye-popping emerald jewels here.

Laverne Cox attended the 2015 Time 100 Gala at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, on Tuesday (April 21) in New York City.

The ‘Orange Is The New Black’ actress had a very inconsistent awards season, so I was delighted to see her back on track with this stunning Marc Bouwer Fall 2015 gown.

Figure-hugging, dazzling, styled perfectly and in a hue which makes her skin glow; what’s not to love?

Julianna Margulies attended the 2015 Time 100 Gala celebrating the 100 Most Influential People In The World, at Jazz at Lincoln Center, on Wednesday (April 21) in New York City.

The ‘Good Wife’ actress wore a black Michael Kors Fall 2015 gown, which embraces a tailored tuxedo style in a distinct, flattering shape with a faux wrap bodice detail, cinched waist, plunging neckline and central split providing a flirtatious allurement.

Yes, there is nothing particularly unexpected here, yet I love the look for being both elegant and timeless.
