The Olivier Awards 2012 took place in London last night at the Royal Opera House to recognise excellence in professional theatre.
We have already seen Best Actress Ruth Wilson. Here are the rest of the attendees.
Kara Tointon: The former Eastenders actress, who was in attendance to present the ‘Best New Dance Production’ award, wore an Alice + Olivia fanned sequin dress inspired by the roaring 20s with a modern silhouette. Her hair was styled into a Marcel wave to perfect the jazz-age look. Nude Christian Louboutin peep-toes and Garrard jewels completed her look.
Hayley Atwell: The British actress opted for a Jexika ‘Siren’ gown. Her strapless nude mermaid gown is beautiful, but it needed more than a silver Jimmy Choo clutch to give it more life and prevent Hayley from looking so washed out. Forevermark jewels and windswept tresses completed her look.
Susannah Fielding: What’s a red carpet event without a stunning red gown? Susannah fulfilled the quota by wearing this amazing strapless frock with a central split which was designed by Suzanne Neville. Her divine red dress was styled with silver jewels and nude accessories and was completed with a sweeping updo.

Last night at the Royal Opera House in London, Ruth Wilson collected the Best Actress Award for her role in ‘Anna Christie’ at The Olivier Awards 2012, which recognises excellence in professional theatre.
My wish list for the McQ Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 collection had been a list of Hollywood stars, but it was a Brit (and rightly so) who snagged the first look.
Her layered tulle bustier dress with full skirt black floral velvet appliqués was teamed with an Alexander McQueen clutch, a black McQ cuff and black Alexander McQueen Mary Jane pumps from the Pre-Fall collection.
A side-swept hairstyle and pink lip colour completed her look.

‘Mad Men’ star Elisabeth Moss has been starring alongside Keira Knightley in a revival of Lillian Hellman’s controversial classic “The Children’s Hour” in the West End of London.
She joined her fellow stage stars in the capital last night for the 2011 Olivier Awards which was held at the Theatre Royal.
Elisabeth wore a gold Roksanda Ilincic Spring 2011 dress.
Her taffeta gathered dress was paired with a matching clutch.
As much as I love this dress, Moss is in desperate need for a pop of colour as this look is feeling a tad washed out.

Rachel Weisz was also at the “The Laurence Olivier Awards” last night where she picked up the Best Actress Award.
The British actress looked elegant in a one-shouldered Narciso Rodriguez dress, but I wasn’t crazy about the colour.
Had this been a midnight blue or navy I think I would have been totally in love with it.

“The Laurence Olivier Awards” are the UK version of the “Tony Awards”.
Keira Knightley was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her West End debut performance in “The Misanthrope”, but lost out to Ruth Wilson for “A Streetcar Named Desire.”
She may have lost that award, but she won Best Dressed at this event wearing a stunning Erdem Fall 2010 gown.
The print is amazing. I actually mistook it for a Marios Schwab at first.
With the digital print dazzling us, Keira rightly kept everything else very simple.
If you look at the close ups below you can see that Keira’s dress is accented with small sequin floral details.
First BDOTW contender?
