Allison Williams In The Row – British Independent Film Awards 2017

Allison Williams also joined the list at the British Independent Film Awards 2017 on Sunday (December 10) on Old Billingsgate in London.

While some may be left uninspired by her minimalist statement from Spring 2018 collection of The Row, there was something striking in its languid, slip-dress allure that made no apologies for its extreme simplicity.

I like how her blonde waves echoed the effortless nonchalance of the look.

Did you like the pared-back nature of her styling, or were you left wishing for something more?

Andrea Riseborough In Erdem – British Independent Film Awards 2017

Andrea Riseborough joined a constellation of other stars at the British Independent Film Awards 2017 on Sunday (December 10) on Old Billingsgate in London.

As the platinum-haired British actress continues to redefine her chameleon-like style, she mixed the tough chicness of her blunt bob with the delicate femininity of this softly glinting Erdem Spring 2018 embellished, tiered design.

While her posture caused me some manner of pause for the look in general—and to wonder if the dress wasn’t about to just slide right down—I love how she melded the bold attitude encapsulated in her hot-pink lip with the petal-pink, vintage glamour of the design.

What about you?

Isabella Charlotta Poppius In Luisa Beccaria – British Independent Film Awards 2017

Fashion model turned actress Isabella Charlotta Poppius attended the British Independent Film Awards on Sunday (December 10) on Old Billingsgate in London.

Currently filming ‘A Guide to Second Date Sex,’ there was nothing salacious about her Luisa Beccaria Resort 2018 gown.

Fairy-tale femininity has always been Luisa Beccaria’s signature, and this grey-blue point d’esprit gown offers a particularly modern translation which I simply adore.

The beguiling look was effortlessly styled with silver jewels.

Kate Mara In Christian Dior – British Independent Film Awards 2017

Kate Mara attended the British Independent Film Awards on Sunday (December 10) on Old Billingsgate in London with her husband Jamie Bell.

The actress’ short colourful streak came to an end with this black Dior gown. Usually semi-sheerness equals sexy, however, on this occasion the look feels somewhat whimsical.

I’m glad she styled her look with a metal Dior minaudière and metallic Louboutin slingbacks, otherwise I would’ve been longing for something more to enhance the look.

Lily Newmark In Schiaparelli Couture – British Independent Film Awards 2017

Lily Newmark was one of my favourites at the British Independent Film Awards on Sunday (December 10) on Old Billingsgate in London.

Nominated in the ‘most promising newcomer’ category, the British-American actress wore a Schiaparelli Fall 2017 Couture strapless dress in nude tulle embroidered with an abstract mask featuring a red silk chiffon cape.

The whole look reads mystical fantasy fairytale which Lily plays an important role in bringing to life.

If you think the red cape was overkill, I would strongly disagree. I feel the look is better for the cape adding a dynamic element to the look.
