Red Carpet Fashion Awards

As the cover girl for Teen Vogue’s October 2012 issue, Victoria Justice was the guest of honour at their annual Young Hollywood party in Beverly Hills, California, yesterday evening.

Her black bandeau and skinny pants were styled with an Emporio Armani Fall 2012 pink velvet blazer, to ensure she stood out on this red carpet.

A black clutch, a silver pendant necklace and cut-out ankle boots accessorized her look, with a hot-pink lip colour complementing her blazer.

Hailee Steinfeld attended Teen Vogue’s Young Hollywood Party which celebrates the next generation of Hollywood superstars.

She went glam, wearing a Versace Resort 2012 dress.

Her short black and white halter dress with an asymmetrical hemline is a really interesting look for the youngster.

I love the matchy accessories which included neon yellow heels and a matching clutch which appear to be inspired by the lookbook picture.

Hailee styled her hair into a loose ponytail and opted for bronze eye makeup.

I really dislike the eye makeup, but I love the dress and eye-catching accessories.

Michael Kors sponsored the 2010 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party this weekend.

This obviously meant the star were decked out head-to-toe in the designers threads.

Michael Kors isn’t exactly the first choice brand for teens, but the stars did their best.

Nikki Reed wore a Michael Kors gold paillette asymmetric dress teamed with Michael Kors gold accessories.

Kate Mara wore a rose Michael Kors one shoulder dress with a Michael Kors nude leather pumps and nude crocodile clutch.

Brittany Snow was just trying too hard wearing a Michael Kors taupe jersey bandeau dress which made her look like a blonde Kardashian.

Keke Palmer wore a Michael Kors gunmetal metallic tweed strapless dress with Kors strappy sandals.

Apart from her shoe choice I loved Kendall Jenner’s look for this event.

The teen wore a white Alice + Olivia blouse with a cute black bow and a green H&M skirt with a black waistband.

She was one of the few who actually dressed like a teen at a teen event.

Lily Collins opted for a pink cute Michael Kors dress with flutter sleeves.

Emma Roberts blew everyone at this event out of the water wearing a gorgeous lavender Malandrino dress with Diego Dolcini gold pumps with an encrusted heel.

It maybe a tad OTT for a teen event, but she put in the effort and the results are amazing.

A Kelly Locke clutch and Diego Dolcini heels complete her look.

Alexa Chung wore a Michael Kors lace skirt paired with a cropped shirt and tan sandals.

My faves are Kendall Jenner and Emma Roberts.

Katie Cassidy was the only one who really impressed me at this event.

Jessica Stroup’s ‘Best Red Carpet Newcomber of 2009′ title is being strongly contested by this girl.

Katie was by far the best dress of the night wearing a watermelon Paule Ka Spring 2009 skirt with tulip bubble details, which she paired with a purple bustier trimmed with lace.

As always the pumps don’t really work for me, but everything else – including her Louis Vuitton Motard satin clutch – is perfection.

Noot Seear opted for an edgier/laidback look wearing a Phi Fall 2009 leather skirt with an asymmetrical exposed zipper and a white tank.

I really dislike the shoes with this look.

Editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue Amy Astley, arrived at this D&G sponsored party wearing a grape D&G Fall 2009 top with voluminous sleeves, paired with navy pants.

Kelly Osbourne’s D&G black satin dress was covered with black and white shamrock appliqués on the sleeves to make the dress more interesting.

“Dancing With the Stars” is paying off. She looks amazing.

Victoria Justice looks so grown up, but not too old in her poppy red BCBG Max Azria sleeveless shift dress.

The dress is covered with hundreds of red paillette’s which matches her ruby lips.

Naturi Naughton didn’t go all out this time.

Instead wearing a simple one-shouldered jersey dress, but add a bit of drama to her look opting for a large jeweled belt.

Chelsea Staub’s canary yellow dress would have stood out on the red carpet.

I love the gold detailed neckline on her BCBG Max Azria dress.

I love Miranda Cosgrove’s floaty ribbon print D&G dress.

It’s nice, but not too cutesy.

It very much suits her style and personality.

I feel a bit disappointed by AnnaLynne McCord’s look.

I expected her to be in the same league as Katie, but I’m really unimpressed by this look.

Jessica Lowndes wore a cute strapless dress with a sequined bodice plus a black and white skirt.

I feel like I see this look on Jessica quite a bit.  I love her to try something new.

Lily Collins opted for a black D&G strapless dress.

Selena Gomez wore a silky black and grey ensemble.

Ashley Tisdale wore a Kate Moss for Topshop Trophy studded dress, which draped low enough to expose her bra through the sheer part of the dress.

Her dress was paired with Christian Louboutin snake skin heels.

Jesscia Stroup opted for a black BCBG Max Azria jumpsuit paired with a green clutch and black open-toe booties.

Selena Gomez arrived on the red carpet looking so cute wearing a black Luella Fall 2007 dress, with a black sash tied at the waist. The stunning sweetheart neckline dress, had a mesh overlay with black polka dots all over.

The curly hair cutie completed her look with a black pair of peep-toes.

There was a time when Vanessa Hudgens would have been the belle of this ball, now she has competition from many brunette teen stars.

Vanessa looked very different from the caftan wearing young girl, who first walked the red carpet at this annual event 2 years ago.

What I absolutely adore are her Givenchy Shoes Bird Cage Ankle Bootie.

Miranda Cosgrove, like Selena, also wore a dress from the Luella Fall 2007 collection. Same stylist me thinks.

Miranda dress was a strapless silver metallic number, which is embellished with small stones, and has a black detail on the waist, and on one-side of the bodice.

This is a nice, young, fun dress, and the prefect choice for her.

Rumer Willis has gone and undone all the hard work she did in winning us over during her appearances on the red carpet for the House Bunny Premiere.

OK the skirt is a very expensive Azzedine Alaia skirt, but with the plunging top/bodysuit, the booties, and the hair, the overall look does not work.

I really don’t like the hair colour, Rumer should stick to black, as it suits her so well.

Nickelodeon’s Victoria Justice, another brunette beauty, went against the dark colours, that everyone was wearing, and opted for a white shift dress, which she wore under a ruched leather jacket and a steel grey boots.

Emma Roberts spent most of last week going from show to show at New York Fashion Week.

Not only did she not pick up any fashion tips, but she also did not pick up free clothes judging from this black turtle neck dress. I really don’t like her grey suede booties either.

Bar Refaeli wore an olive green silk miniHurley dress, that no doubt kept the male half of Young Hollywood walking around with their chins on the floor.

Erin Wasson might not have read the invitation, which said “Teen Vogue Party”, because she arrived at this event wearing a lace micro mini dress sans bra and with her panties showing.

Those poor boys would not have known were to look.

In saying all that, she does look fabulous. Not many could pull this look off, expect Vanessa Paradis.
