Red Carpet Fashion Awards

For Spike TV’s 2012 Video Game Awards held at the Sony Studios in LA on Friday evening, Jessica Alba wasn’t about to let her jet lag kick in, making sure to amp up the sex appeal on the red carpet.

She did just that by wearing a sultry, body-hugging Narciso Rodriguez Pre-Fall 2012 number.

The starlet added some height to the ensemble with to-die-for heels by Giuseppe Zanotti and a killer Christian Louboutin ‘Miss Loubie’ spiked patent-leather clutch.

We like that Jessica was clearly dressing for the mood of the event. The second-skin dress has a distinct fantasy vibe to it, and she kept things consistent with her choice of edgy accessories which included an Ileana Makri triple spike ring and Jennifer Fisher pyramid stud earrings.

However, while the black frock is certainly sexy, it doesn’t thrill us.

The texture is barely visible, while the double-strap situation is somewhat awkward. The shoes are by far the shining star of this look, with the ombre wavy hair getting a huge thumbs down.

Julianne Hough was another lady in black to take to the red carpet at Spike TV’s ‘Guys Choice’ Awards held on Saturday at the Sony Studios in LA prior to the 2012 MTV Movie Awards.

She opted to wear a Michael Kors Resort 2012 tank maxi dress with a thigh-high side split and a criss-cross open back.

Her black figure-hugging dress was teamed with Karine Sultan earrings, a Le Vian gold statement ring and a House of Harlow 1960 snakeskin clutch.

Beachy waves and Giuseppe Zanotti black and metallic gold open toe platform sandals with a sculptured wedge heel completed her look.

This is much better from Julianne. Keeping it simple works for her.

With all the black dresses at this Spike TV’s ‘Guys Choice’ Awards, it was refreshing to see some colour on the red carpet for Saturday night’s event held at the Sony Studios in LA.

Kristen Bell, who is co-hosting the CMT Awards on Wednesday, gave Emma Stone her ‘Hot & Funny’ Mantler award on the night.

She wore a Jenny Packham Spring 2012 dress.

The gorgeous lime green ruffled dress with lace details injected some much needed summer flare to this event.

The sleeveless feminine dress was styled with Jimmy Choo ‘Lance’ sandals and a shimmering pink lip colour.

Kohl-rimmed eyes and gorgeous wavy locks completed her look.

Kate Beckinsale joined the many stars who donned a black frock for Spike TV’s ‘Guys Choice Awards’ held on Saturday at the Sony Studios in LA.

The British actress collected her ‘Jean-Claude Gahd Dam’ award wearing a Tom Ford Fall 2012 dress.

We have seen this LBD once before. Jennifer Lawrence wore it to the Paris premiere for ‘The Hunger Games’ back in March.

Jennifer opted to open the gold zipper all the way to her waist, whilst Kate kept her frock zipped up.

A high ponytail, nude lips and Christian Louboutin black pumps completed Kate’s sexy chic look.

Mila Kunis, ‘Guys Choice’ Awards regular, hit the red carpet at the Sony Studios for the Spike TV event in LA on Saturday night prior to the 2012 MTV Movie Awards.

The actress wore a Lanvin dress.

Her black sleeveless pocketed dress fails to excite.

Some interesting accessories and statement jewels may have helped lift the look, but Mila opted for gunmetal grey Roger Vivier ‘Prismick’ T-bar sandals and Tiffany jewels.

Leaving her hair down, again, Mila completed her look with a nude lip colour.
