Paula Echevarria In Zuhair Murad Couture - Elle Style Awards 2014

Paula Echevarria attended the Elle Style Awards party held at the Italian Embassy on Thursday (October 23) in Madrid, Spain.

The Spanish actress looked stunning wearing a Zuhair Murad Fall 2014 Couture raspberry-hued one-shoulder lace-embroidered gown with a chiffon sash trailing from the shoulder down the side of the gown into a train.

Her gown is gorgeous, but I’m not too enamoured with the styling, especially the accessories. There is perhaps too much going on. She should’ve let the gown be the focus and swept her hair into a slicked-back bun.

Ariadne Artiles attended the Elle Style Awards party at the Italian Embassy on Thursday (October 23) in Madrid, Spain.

The model wore a sexy part-sheer part-silk-crepe Nina Ricci Fall 2014 gown featuring lavender floral embroidery.

Despite the obvious showing of no underwear, the look manages to stay on the right side of sexy; it’s all in the attitude of the pose never verging on tackyville – although some might disagree.

Wavy tresses and a dazzling ear cuff completed her sexy look.

Nieves Alvarez In Roberto Cavalli Couture – Elle Style Awards 2014

Nieves Alvarez In Roberto Cavalli Couture - Elle Style Awards 2014

Nieves Alvarez attended ‘Elle Style Awards 2014′ held at the Italian Embassy on Thursday (October 23) in Madrid, Spain where the supermodel was on hand to present Roberto Cavalli with the ‘Best International Fashion Designer’ award.

The Italian designer lived up to the title creating this breath-taking midnight-blue beaded Couture gown which Nieves styled with a Roberto Cavalli sparkling tassel accented bag and Bvlgari jewels.

While some might say this is nothing new from the designer, for me, this is still one of those magic red carpet moments I live for.

Bravo all round.

InStyle España Magazine 10th Anniversary Party

InStyle España Magazine 10th Anniversary Party

InStyle Magazine celebrated its 10th anniversary party at Gran Melia Fenix Hotel on Tuesday (October 21) in Madrid, Spain.

Juana Acosta: The actress wore a Herve Leger bold red gown featuring lattice detailing on the bodice and hemline. Perhaps this dress was a size too big, as it doesn’t appear to sit right on the bodice. Nonetheless she looked stunning styling her look with gold accessories, a matching red pout and glossy waves.

Celia Freijeiro: I was very much blown away by Celia’s Andrew Gn Pre-Fall 2014 look. Not only by the rich green hue and the enriching black embellishments, but also by her effortless styling which included a Dolce & Gabbana clutch and Piaget jewels. On the downside, the gown is perhaps too long for her, but everything else is pitch perfect.

Dafne Fernandez: My favourite Spanish actress looked ever so divine, as per, sweeping the red carpet wearing a Carolina Herrera Fall 2014 orange-hued cold-shoulder gown with enriching embroidered detailing. Wearing her hair up would’ve perfected this look, but as always she’s pretty damn perfect in my eyes.

Megan Montaner In Blumarine – Neox Fan Awards 2014

Megan Montaner In Blumarine - Neox Fan Awards 2014

Megan Montaner had a chance to quickly redeem herself from the ‘Dioses Y Perros’ Madrid premiere disaster when attending the Neox Fan Awards 2014 held at the Compac Gran Via Theatre on Wednesday (October 8) in Madrid, Spain.

She did just that, wearing a Blumarine Fall 2014 electric-blue polka-dot suit with a black satin shawl collar dressed down with a white Anine Bing tee instead of the mesh top we saw on the runway.

Megan’s accessories included Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ nude pumps, and Carrera Y Carrera and Ararat jewels.

While the look is much improved, I’m not feeling the nude pumps with this look. I would’ve taken black strappy sandals or even black pumps with this sharp look.

Megan Montaner In Stéphane Rolland Couture – 'Dioses Y Perros' Madrid Premiere

Megan Montaner attended the premiere of her latest movie, ‘Dioses Y Perros’ in Madrid, Spain yesterday evening (October 7).

I was not a fan of Stephane Rolland’s Fall 2014 Couture collection, but then Nieves Alvarez and Juana Acosta made me have a change of heart – but then this happened.

Sadly, this looks like a ‘Project Runway’ challenge gone horribly wrong; I’m afraid there’s nothing graceful, elegant or appealing about this look.

The star appliqués are very random, especially the gold one, and the shoes from the same collection are too heavy and frankly ugly. There is nothing I would save from this rather unfortunate look.
