Julia Louis-Dreyfus In Monique Lhuillier – 2014 SAG Awards

Julia Louis-Dreyfus In Monique Lhuillier - 2014 SAG Awards

Julia Louis-Dreyfus attended the 2014 SAG Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (January 18) in Los Angeles.

The ‘Veep’ actress wore a color-blocked, Monique Lhullier gown. Like Anna Gunn, Julie went with the always-chic black and navy combination with a lace inset that sadly didn’t show up in many of the photos.

Julia’s strength normally lies in the impeccable fit of her dresses so it was a bit disappointing to see this gown looking just a touch off in the bust. It’s not clear if it’s a fit issue or the way the material is photographing but it’s not the perfection she normally delivers.

Otherwise, it’s a gorgeous, modern look topped off with a simple blowout and Forevermark jewels.

I expect that the tiny issue in the bust won’t stop Julia from landing on plenty of best-dressed lists.

Kerry Washington In Prada – 2014 SAG Awards

Kerry Washington In Prada - 2014 SAG Awards

Kerry Washington made quite the attention-grabbing entrance at the 2014 SAG Awards, hosted at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (January 18).

No longer disguising her burgeoning baby bump—at all—the ‘Scandal’ star and nominee put on a custom Prada ensemble that was worlds away from standard maternity style.

Showing us that even expectant mothers can work the current cropped-top trend, she flaunted a fuchsia, silk gabardine elbow-sleeve, open-back top that glittered with hand-embroidered crystals, paillettes and tiny flowers.

The top was paired with a midnight-blue, high-waisted Mikado silk skirt with layered pleating detail, alongside lace-embellished Christian Louboutin ‘Pigalace’ pointy pumps.

Harry Winston jewels contributed even more sparkle, while the pop of a fuchsia and red silk Prada clutch added more colour. She topped off the look with a bouffant-style ’do and a simple headband, not to mention a matching pink lip.

This was a bold style move from Kerry, who was obviously having plenty of fun with fashion tonight. Did the risk pay off?

Emilia Clarke In Calvin Klein Collection – 2014 SAG Awards

Emilia Clarke In Calvin Klein Collection – 2014 SAG Awards

Emilia Clarke looked every bit the movie star (HBO counts, right?) on the red carpet of the 2014 SAG Awards in Los Angeles tonight (January 18).

The ‘Game of Thrones’ star wore a custom Calvin Klein Collection gown with a Rauwolf clutch and Pomellato jewelry.

In addition to having the moment many woman would kill for on the red carpet (a little flirting with Jared Leto), Emilia really brought the glam tonight.

The liquid rose gold gown is perfection on the star, and a casual, sideswept updo keep the glamour grounded.

Her perfect skin, enviable brows and raspberry lips synch the deal on this perfect look.

Sarah Paulson In Rochas – 2014 SAG Awards

Sarah Paulson In Rochas - 2014 SAG Awards

Sarah Paulson hit the red carpet at the 2014 SAG Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (January 18) in Los Angeles.

The ’12 Years a Slave’ and ‘American Horror Story’ actress wore a white, Rochas dress with a Roger Vivier clutch, Manolo Blahnik shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

It’s an unusual dress combining sweet ruffles, a 1950s silhouette and a petticoat-esque skirt but there’s something very charming about it. Sarah is even pulling off the always-difficult ankle length.

A brand-new bob haircut and hot pink lip keeps Sarah’s look modern instead of cutesy.

I love the look more and the more the longer I look at it but I also expect many will disagree. What do you think?

Michelle Dockery In J. Mendel – 2014 SAG Awards

Michelle Dockery In J. Mendel - 2014 SAG Awards

Michelle Dockery stunned in monochrome at the 2014 SAG Awards, held at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (January 18).

The ‘Downton Abbey’ star and best ensemble nominee debuted her first-ever J. Mendel design, opting for a sleek, black-and-white moment, which she paired with corresponding dual-colour Gianvito Rossi ‘Alina’ pumps.

On the red carpet, she described the dress as tuxedo-inspired, and it certainly had slightly mannish undertones, given its structure and contrasting mock lapels.

However, the plunging neckline and thigh-high slit brought in plenty of sultry, feminine appeal—although I have a feeling the low-cut bodice may turn some of you off this look.

Similar to her ensemble at Entertainment Weekly’s SAG Awards celebration yesterday, she kept her bold entrance nearly bedazzle free, with only a white clutch and petite David Yurman earrings. Her berry-red lip was piercing, and I loved it for that reason.

It was most certainly the va-va-voom accessory here.

Cate Blanchett In Givenchy – 2014 SAG Awards

Cate Blanchett In Givenchy – 2014 SAG Awards

Cate Blanchett was a rosy vision on the red carpet of the 2014 SAG Awards Saturday in Los Angeles (January 18).

The star wore a Givenchy Spring 2014 draped gown with sparkling pink sequined accents styled with Chopard jewels and Roger Vivier ‘Smocking’ sandals.

Her blush-hued eyeshadow, blush and lipstick are the most superb complements, and the easy-going updo leads us to believe that it really might be easy for Cate to look this gorgeous.

Because of the bodice of this gown, I’m thinking it might be polarizing, despite how much I love this look. So let me know–are you as smitten as I am?

Sofía Vergara In Donna Karan Atelier – 2014 SAG Awards

Sofía Vergara In Donna Karan Atelier - 2014 SAG Awards

Sofia Vergara was all about classic Hollywood glamour at the 2014 SAG Awards on Saturday (January 18) in Los Angeles.

The ‘Modern Family’ actress shone in silver, beaded Donna Karan Atelier that hugged her famous curves and had a low, draped back. It would have been sexier without the strap across the back but it was most likely necessary to keep Sofia’s ample bustline supported so she gets a pass on that one.

Sofia embraced a more is more philosophy by adding a statement necklace to the heavily embellished gown and finishing the look off with bouncy waves.

After making a controversial choice at the Golden Globe Awards, it was nice to see Sofia just being Sofia – a spicy, sultry bombshell.
