Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Sara Bareilles In Jill Stuart - 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Sara Bareilles kept things short and sweet on the red carpet of the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theatre.

The singer and performer wore a Jill Stuart Fall 2013 laser cut dress with shirt sleeve and collar accents.

A white Charlotte Olympia clutch and black Moschino pumps with red accents completed her fashion look.

Her hair bow, beachy waves, red accent nail, and red lips round-out her girly-yet-sophisticated turn on the carpet.

This whole look is so perfectly Sara, and I applaud her for staying so true to her personal style.

So tell me, are you as big of a fan as Sara’s ensemble as me?

Naya Rivera In Michael Kors Resort 2014

Naya Rivera also joined the ‘it’ list of PYTs who came out in force at the 2014 People’s Choice Awards at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California on Wednesday (January 8), where she took home the trophy for Favourite TV Gal Pals alongside ‘Glee’ co-star, Lea Michele.

New year, new ‘do for this ‘Glee’ girl, apparently, as she debuted a lighter, chestnut-blonde hair colour via her voluminous waves.

While her locks may have first caught my attention, I soon redirected my gaze to her on-trend, colour-block Michael Kors Resort 2014 nude, white and black dress. That she covered up in this long-sleeve, slim-line design was also a bit of a departure for this figure-flaunting starlet.

Generally, the high-low hemline is lost on me. But, here, Naya works it to her advantage—even if, at times, I just wanted to slice off that back train that trailed behind her.

Blush-nude Stuart Weitzman sandals, in combination with the flash of a gold collar necklace and sultry nude makeup hues, completed her entrance.

What do you think of her new look?

Melissa Rauch In Rubin Singer - 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Actress Melissa Rauch made an electric entrance on the red carpet of the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

The ‘Big Bang Theory’ star and nominee wore a bright pink, strapless Rubin Singer gown with asymmetrical ruching.

She kept her hair casual by pulling just part of it up and leaving the rest in loose waves and letting her thick fringe take center stage.

Her glowing skin, bold eyes and pink lips complete this sweet, girly look.

While I love the bright color of the gown, I can’t help but feel like it’s a bit lackluster and wish she had taken this moment on the carpet to make a bit more of a statement.

Do you agree, or do you think this was a solid choice for the star?

Sarah Michelle Gellar In Sachin + Babi - 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Sarah Michelle Gellar glowed on the red carpet of the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The beloved television actress and star of the new show ‘The Crazy Ones’ wore a black and white Sachin + Babi Spring 2014 dress with a pleated skirt and draped bodice.

Sarah looked beautiful showcasing spring’s black and white trend (as did Beth Behrs) and made an excellent choice adding the gold halter strap rather than the white seen on the runway.

Smokey eyes and baby pink lips completed her lovely look.

My only complaint here is the shoe choice. The ankle-strap sandals seen on the runway add so much more fun to the classy look than the basic black pumps Sarah wore.

Nina Dobrev In Jenny Packham - 2014 People's Choice Awards

Nina Dobrev attended the 2014 People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night (January 8), held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in California.

Our fave ‘The Vampire Diaries’ girl, and a nominee for the evening’s Favourite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress, dazzled in a Jenny Packham Fall 2013 long-sleeve design with a Rauwolf clutch

In the case of this decadent dress, all that glitters was, well, silver. The right side of this black, body-con confection was encased in a shimmering sea of glittery embellishment.

A pair of silver, ankle-strap platform sandals only added to the shine factor, while she edged up all that glitz with a back-braided interpretation of a faux-hawk.

Do you like Nina’s mix of high-octane luxe and cool-girl glam?
