Carey Mulligan In Christian Dior – ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ London Film Festival Premiere

Carey Mulligan In Christian Dior - 'Inside Llewyn Davis' London Film Festival Premiere

Carey Mulligan took to the red carpet this evening for the ‘Inside Llewyn Davis’ London Film Festival premiere held at the Odeon Leicester Square.

You will have to search back as far a May to find Carey Mulligan wearing a vibrant hue, so I was delighted she selected something outside of her black, nude, blush, and white comfort zone on this rare occasion.

She wore a Christian Dior yellow matte silk and wool crepe cocktail dress with contoured seams on the bodice which she styled with black Dior pumps.

The second bit of good news is that her makeup artist is no longer M.I.A. as Carey (the star who kicked started the barely-there makeup trend) sported a lush raspberry lip shade.

No jewels, just a simple wavy bun completed her look.

Do you love the look or can you not ignore her footwear selection as I have chosen to?

Kate Winslet In Jenny Packham – ‘Labor Day’ London Film Festival Premiere

Kate Winslet In Jenny Packham - ‘Labor Day’ London Film Festival Premiere

Kate Winslet attended the premiere of ‘Labor Day’ during the BFI London Film Festival this evening looking radiant in red.

She was wearing a bespoke scarlet short sleeve gown with Swarovski crystal detailing by Jenny Packham, which she styled with De Beers earrings, a matching diamond bracelet, a black satin Christian Louboutin ‘Traviata’ clutch and black leather-and-chiffon Christian Louboutin ‘Angelique’ peep-toes.

The British designer has been Kate’s go-to designer for her maternity red carpet looks for her third pregnancy and it’s a prosperous union which I hope continues throughout this promo tour because this look is both flattering and stylish, plus when it comes to maternity-wear Jenny Packham is all about celebrating the bump, rather than concealing it.

A chic wavy updo with face framing tendrils completed her look.

Pace Wu In Carolina Herrera – Pro-Series Shampoo Event

Pace Wu In Carolina Herrera - Pro-Series Shampoo Event

Pace Wu attended an event to promote the Pro-Series shampoo, for which she is the face of the brand, in China on Sunday.

From this picture, it is impossible to tell that she is five month pregnant, donning a Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2013 ombre dress with a lustrous floral jacquard print, fitted bodice, black-banded waist, and full A-line skirt which falls to the knee.

The emerald hue – which keeps in line with the Pro-Series branding – and her glossy tresses couldn’t be a more perfect testament to the results of their products.

Black Christian Louboutin pumps and a silver Hermes bracelet completed her look.

2013 Bazaar Stars Charity Night Red Carpet Roundup

2013 Bazaar Stars Charity Night

Alongside Fan Bingbing, Li Bingbing and Shu Qi, there were many other stars who attended the 2013 Bazaar Stars Charity Night held at China World Summit Wing in Beijing, China yesterday evening.

You weren’t too enamored with the aforementioned starlets, so how do this lot fare?

Bai Baihe: The Chinese actress kept things very simple wearing a red silk satin Valentino Fall 2013 long sleeved portrait neckline gown styled with a clear Valentino clutch and – what appears to be –  no makeup. If I was to put one person from this event through to BDOTW, she would be my pick.

Gao Yuanyuan: Opting for a more futuristic look, the Chinese actress wore a Burberry Prorsum LBD with striking geometric metal straps from the Fall 2013 collection.  She styled her frock with a Bulgari clutch – which was perfectly in tune with the vibe of her dress – and simple black pumps.

Sui He: The Chinese model looked very beautiful and statuesque wearing a Marios Schwab Fall 2013 dark-green velvet gown with a gold accent at the empire-waist. The gown appears to be off-the-shoulder, however, it features an illusion yoke only noticeable by the neckline. While I am not a fan of how she accessorized the look, I do love the gown, and both her hair and makeup.

Carina Lau In Erdem – David LaChapelle Photography Exhibition Dinner Party

Carina Lau In Erdem - David LaChapelle Photography Exhibition Dinner Party

Carina Lau attended the David LaChapelle photography exhibition dinner party hosted by Tod’s on Wednesday in Hong Kong, China.

The actress opted for a prim and proper look, wearing an Erdem Pre-Fall 2013 shift dress which has a hint of retro-chic with jacquard florals with lustrous metallic threading for amped-up appeal.

Carina added a beautiful beaded pink necklace which complemented the floral design, with an awkward, yet mandatory, red Tod’s bag breaking up what would’ve been a perfect look.

Li Bingbing In Elie Saab – 2013 Bazaar Stars Charity Night

Li Bingbing In Elie Saab - 2013 Bazaar Stars Charity Night

Li Bingbing joined Fan Bingbing and Shu Qi on the red carpet yesterday evening for the 2013 Bazaar Stars Charity Night at China World Summit Wing in Beijing, China.

Also managing to wear a sheer look without us being put off by revealing undergarments, the actress wore an Elie Saab Fall 2013 white sleeveless gown with delicate embellishments throughout.

This is a perfect example of how to work the sheer trend. I hope Fan Bingbing was taking notes.

Being mindful that the gown had enough shimmer and bedazzlement, she didn’t wear any jewels, opting for a striking red lip, a slicked-back centre-parted ‘do and a white manicure, which elevated her look.

This gown takes Mr Saab to three gowns hitting the red carpet in one night following Nieves Alvarez and Fan Bingbing.

Say what you want about his embellished designs; he is still the king of the red carpet.

You may remember that Elsa Pataky wore this same dress during the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.
