Tess Daly In Issa – 2013 National Television Awards

Tess Daly In Issa - 2013 National Television Awards

The 2013 National Television Awards, held at the O2 Arena in London, took place on a cold night last night, but Tess Daly vowed to turn up the heat.

Taking home the prize for ‘Best Talent Show’ for Strictly Come Dancing (known as Dancing with the Stars in the US), Tess followed the trend of the week by donning a red Issa lace long-sleeve gown.

Her beautiful gown with an open back was styled with red-and-black Michael Kors peep toes, gold Lara Bohinc jewels and a black studded Donna Karan clutch with a tassel accent.

Soft blonde curls and a matching red lip colour completed her look.

Who Wore Alexander McQueen Better…Emily Blunt, Kim Marsh or Natalie Gumede?

Who Wore Alexander McQueen Better

Last night, the cream of the crop of British talent gathered at the O2 Arena in London to celebrate the 2013 Television Awards.

‘Coronation Street’ stars Kim Marsh and Natalie Gumede clearly had the same glamorous vision in mind when they selected to wear this Alexander McQueen Resort 2013 gown, which was first worn by Emily Blunt to the 2012 Harper’s Bazaar Woman of the Year Awards back in November last year.

Thankfully for Kim and Natalie, it was a case of same dress, different colour, as I’m sure they were seated in close proximity at the event.

Emily’s version not only stands out because she selected a vibrant orange colour, but her gown also has a multi-coloured crystal-accented neckline.

Kim usually makes some shocking decisions on the red carpet, so I love that she made an effort to scrub up well on this occasion.

Natalie was both stylish and warm having added a white fur stole to her look, amping up the glamour with a complementary silver sparkling clutch.

As a lover of colour, Emily wins for me, with Natalie’s old-Hollywood glamorous look coming in a close second.

Elle MacPherson In Tom Ford – 2012 National Television Awards

Elle MacPherson joined Tess Daly and Laura Whitmore on the red carpet for the 2012 National Television Awards in London last night.

She wore a Tom Ford Fall 2011 gunmetal-grey embellished gown with a high neckline, which we’ve already seen on Anne Hathaway.

I didn’t like it back then and I dislike it even more now, especially with that braid accented ponytail.

What really kills Elle’s look for me is the inclusion of the diamond-encrusted statement earrings with so much embellishment on the neckline.

Too much of a muchness.

Laura Whitmore In Stella McCartney – 2012 National Television Awards

Laura Whitmore also took to the red carpet yesterday evening for the 2012 National Television Awards in London.

The Irish TV presenter wore a Stella McCartney Spring 2012 dress.

The more I see of this Stella McCartney collection on the red carpet, the more I dislike it as it fails to translate well.

If Gwyneth Paltrow couldn’t quite make this collection work, no-one else need apply.

Laura teamed her dual-print keyhole-detail mini dress with a black clutch and cheap-looking nude pumps.

Like the dress wasn’t bad enough.

Tess Daly In Michael Kors – 2012 National Television Awards

Tess Daly is used to going glam every week on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, so her gorgeous look on the red carpet in London last night for the 2012 National Television Awards comes as no surprise.

The TV presenter wore a Michael Kors Spring 2012 dress for the occasion.

Her black column gown with gold python detail is very similar to look 63 from the Michael Kors Spring 2012 collection, but Tess’ version has a sexy thigh-high split.

She accessorized with a black clutch and black strappy sandals whilst braiding the front of her hair to completed her glamazon look.

You may remember that Paula Patton wore the orange version of this look on her Mission Impossible promo tour last year.
