Darby Stanchfield In Donna Karan – 2013 NAACP Image Awards

Darby Stanchfield was unrecognisable on the red carpet at The Shrine Auditorium in California on Friday evening, for the 2013 NAACP Image Awards.

That because she was wearing makeup and smiling. I’m so used to her scowling, makeup free character in the hit series, ‘Scandal’ which was honoured with the ‘Best Drama Series’ Award at this ceremony.

The red-haired beauty wore a beautiful strapless Donna Karan Fall 2012 gown.

Her taupe chiffon strapless gown, decorated with tonal paillette detailing, which fade out toward the hem of her skirt, was styled with luscious wavy locks and an oversized black clutch.

It’s such a delight to see our favourite TV stars all glammed up.

Freida Pinto In James Ferreira – 2013 NAACP Image Awards

Freida Pinto and boyfriend Dev Patel took to the red carpet at The Shrine Auditorium in California on Friday evening, for the 2013 NAACP Image Awards.

The Indian beauty was supporting Dev (in Burberry) who received a ‘Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series’ nomination for his role in ‘Newsroom.’

Getting my ‘Best Plus One’ Award, Freida also supported Indian designer James Ferreria.

Her heavenly emerald-green satin one-shoulder gown with a draped detail and sparking embellishments was styled with a ruby Judith Leiber crystallized clutch and Jacob & Co. jewels.

Side swept locks and barely there makeup completed her stunning look.

This colour is divine against her skin tone.

Bellamy Young In J. Mendel – 2013 NAACP Image Awards

‘Scandal’ took home the ‘Best Drama Series’ Award at the 2013 NAACP Image Awards, held in California on Friday evening.

The First Lady, aka Bellamy Young, joined co-star Tony Goldwyn on the red carpet at The Shrine Auditorium looking gorgeous wearing a J. Mendel gown.

With so much sparkle on this red carpet Bellamy opted for a dramatic, deep crimson coloured gown.

Her draped shawl collar gown with a fitted bodice and bias-seamed mermaid skirt which fitted through the knee, before flaring to the floor with a mini train was styled with a beautiful ruby stone necklace, matching earrings and a simple bun.

Shimmering silver eye shadow made Bellamy’s blue eyes pop with a coral lip colour providing the finishing touch.

Archie Panjabi In Lorena Sarbu – 2013 NAACP Image Awards

After stunning at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards, Archie Panjabi stunned once again on the red carpet at the 2013 NAACP Image Awards on Friday evening, which was held at The Shrine Auditorium in California.

Dazzling from head-to-toe in a Lorena Sarbu Fall 2012 strapless silver gown with blue beaded details, ‘The Good Wife’ star styled her look with a matching silver clutch and blue diamond studded earrings.

Wearing her raven hair in a neat, sleek ponytail she completed her look with a dark pink lip colour and smoky eyes.

It’s so refreshing to see Archie all glammed up considering her on-screen character lives in a leather jacket, short black skirts, v-neck tops and leather knee-high boots.

Gloria Reuben In Lisa Ho – 2013 NAACP Image Awards

Gloria Reuben stood out on the red carpet at the 2013 NAACP Image Awards on Friday evening, which was held at The Shrine Auditorium in California.

The ‘Lincoln’ star wore a vivid yellow Lisa Ho Spring 2012 gown.

I much prefer her bold hued strapless silk pleated taffeta gown over the runway nude version. Gloria’s celebration of colour is very much appreciated.

So was her styling which was kept simple with a silver clutch and silver jewels accessorizing her look.

Chandra Wilson In Tadashi Shoji – 2013 NAACP Image Awards

Chandra Wilson looked lovely as she took to the red carpet at the 2013 NAACP Image Awards on Friday evening, which was held at The Shrine Auditorium in California.

The ‘Grey Anatomy star turned to Octavia Spencer’s favourite designer for her red carpet look.

Chandra glowed wearing a Tadashi Shoji Spring 2013 metallic ice-blue draped jersey gown with a sheer rhinestone panel at the bust.

This sparkling detail was matched with Benjamin Adams London silver crystal ‘Chicago’ pumps, an Oroton ‘Opera Crystals’ clutch, a gold bracelet and oval drop earrings.

I love this elegant look from head-to-toe, but I would remove the gold bracelet as it doesn’t blend well with the rest of her look.
