Kerry Washington In Zac Posen – 2011 NAACP Image Awards

All White On The Night Award
Kerry Washington would have turned plenty of heads at the 2011 NAACP Image Awards which took place in LA this weekend.

She looked breath-taking wearing a crisp ivory Zac Posen gown.

Her ivory gown with flutter sleeves and a train was paired with Stephen Webster jewels and a white clutch.

Kerry’s gown and jewels are doing all the work here, because I don’t like her make-up.

She may have been going for a natural look, but I would’ve loved to have seen a beautiful lip colour to brighten up this look even more.

Anika Noni Rose In Ina Soltani – 2011 NAACP Image Awards

Best Use of Embellishments Award
Anika Noni Rose looked stunning on the red carpet of the2011 NAACP Image Awards which took place in LA this weekend.

“The Good Wife” actress wore a stunning Ina Soltani gown.

The gorgeous eggplant paillette cap sleeve open back gown was accessorized with diamond drop earrings from the ‘Open Hearts by Jane Seymour’ collection.

I would’ve loved this look with a chic updo, but she looks beautiful either way.

Runway To 41st NAACP Image Awards – Jill Scott In Tadashi Shoji

The Bold & Beautiful Award
Tadashi Shoji was definitely the go to designer of the 41st NAACP Image Awards on Friday night, as he dressed 4 women including singer Jill Scott.

She didn’t wear a gown, but a very sexy navy sequined Tadashi Shoji Spring 2010 dress.

I love how chic she looks in her ¾ sleeve dress which gives her an amazing silhouette.

Silver accessories perfectly complement her dress.

41st NAACP Image Awards – Keke Palmer In BCBG Max Azria

Best Use Of Colour/Best Dressed Runner Up Award
The more I look at this picture of Keke Palmer at the 41st NAACP Image Awards, the more she makes me think I should’ve given her the Best Dressed Award instead of Mo’Nique.

I think I’m seduced by that stunning canary yellow that just pops on this red carpet.

The young actress really works this asymmetrical BCBG Max Azria gown which is divine against her skin tone.

Her hair, make-up and gold earrings perfect this look.

Runway To 41st Annual NAACP Image Awards – Taraji P. Henson In Herve L. Leroux

Nice, But No Wow Factor Award
Taraji P. Henson’s hair and make-up were flawless at the 41st Annual NAACP Image Awards.

The actress opted for a Herve L. Leroux bandage dress which did look amazing on her toned body.

The peacock colour is gorgeous but I’m not feeling any kind of wow factor from this look.

Maybe a few more accessories or a stand out clutch would’ve made me fall in love with this look.
