Amandla Stenberg In Rafael Cennamo – 2013 NAACP Image Awards
Amandla Stenberg brought her delightful smile to the red carpet at The Shrine Auditorium in California on Friday evening, for the 2013 NAACP Image Awards.
Older stars could take style tips from this pint-sized fashionista, as the ‘Hunger Games’ cutie is one of the many teens taking the red carpet by storm at the moment.
Amandla selected an ivory Rafael Cennamo Spring 2012 dress accented with floral appliqués for the occasion.
Her pretty frock was styled with a gorgeous pair of Louis Vuitton gold sequin ankle strap kitten heels, which added a touch of pizzazz to her look.
I love her high, curly bun accented with a silver hair band which complemented her Bavna jewels.

Garcelle Beauvais In J. Mendel – 2013 NAACP Image Awards
There was more yet more bold colour statements to be had on the red carpet at The Shrine Auditorium in California on Friday evening for the 2013 NAACP Image Awards, this time courtesy of Garcelle Beauvais.
The ‘Flight’ actress brought her ‘A’ game to the red carpet wearing a stunning custom made bright-pink J. Mendel strapless gown inspired by a look from the Resort 2013 collection.
Her mermaid gown with tonal piping is heavenly, but I’m slightly baffled by the dark lip colour with such a brightly coloured gown.
I’m not suggesting she wear a colour to match her gown, but the lip colour feel a tad moody for the look and throws off the balance somewhat.
Lip colour aside she still took my breath-away.

Kerry Washington In Oscar de la Renta – 2013 NAACP Image Awards
The belle of the ball at the 2013 NAACP Image Awards on Friday evening was most definitely Kerry Washington.
Not only did the ‘Scandal’ actress look breath-taking wearing an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2013 gown, but she also picked up three awards including, ‘Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture’ for ‘Django Unchained’, ‘Best Actress in a Drama Series’ for ‘Scandal’ which was also honoured with the ‘Best Drama Series’ Award.
Kerry’s off-the-shoulder pink floral guipure and aqua ornamental cloque gown featured a rise-and-fall hemline which showed off her nude Christian Louboutin pumps.
A pink Kotur clutch, brooch and earrings by the same designer plus a Neil Lane ring accessorized her look with a half-up, half-down hairstyle providing the finishing touches.
Now I have a dilemma.
Which is my favourite Kerry Washington look so far this year? The Giles gown or this Oscar de la Renta gown.
I may need to toss a coin to decide this one.

Halle Berry In Vivienne Westwood – 2013 NAACP Image Awards
Halle Berry has been making a much improved effort to switch up her red carpet looks recently, and that was definitely the case at the 2013 NAACP Image Awards on Friday evening.
The ‘Cloud Atlas’ actress wore a Vivienne Westwood ‘Ball Tie’ gown from the designers Autumn/Winter 2013 collection.
Her black satin corset gown with a champagne coloured scarf detail is a huge step up from her Golden Globes gown.
This classier look was simply styled with drop earrings and her signature cropped do styled into spunky spikes.
Much improved or does Halle not impress you much?
