Emma Watson In Maxime Simoens – 2013 MTV Movie Awards

Emma Watson took home the ‘Trailblazer’ award at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards held at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California on Sunday evening.

Sticking to her short-printed-mini-dress red carpet formula, the British actress, who celebrates her 23rd birthday today, opted for a Maxime Simoëns Fall 2013 dress on this occasion.

Typically fresh and flirty, her printed dress, which she paired with Proenza Schouler platform sandals and silver Jennifer Meyer rings, features a haltered neckline and cut-out details.

Opting for minimal makeup, Emma swept her hair up into a simple updo.

Zoe Saldana In Givenchy – 2013 MTV Movie Awards

Zoe Saldana was one of the many stars who took to the red carpet for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards held at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California on Sunday evening.

Shunning the mini dresses we have seen across the board, the ‘Star Trek’ actress opted to show off one leg in her Givenchy Fall 2013 dress.

I was on this fence with this dress, which features a black long-sleeved top with a sheer black polka-dot side-slit skirt with floral embroidery, but my final verdict is that I love the look.

I prefer her styling over the runway, despite part of me wishing that this was sleeveless with a plunging neckline, but that would’ve been too obvious.

I think this look had the potential to be quite bland on the wrong person; thankfully, Zoe isn’t that person. Her no-fuss approach worked in this dress’s favour.

Jimmy Choo ‘Kalpa’ heels, jewelry from Emily Faith and Graziela, including an emerald serpent ring, flowing wavy tresses, and a bold lip colour completed her look.

Also sporting a highly stylized ponytail at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on the red carpet at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California was Selena Gomez.

The baby-face worked a Dutch braid, pompadour-like ‘do, wearing a very sexy long-sleeved Julien Macdonald gold fringed mini dress from the designer’s recent Fall 2013 collection.

Adding yet more sparkle to her look, she wore champagne-coloured Jimmy Choo ‘Vibe’ peep-toes and gold earrings.

Jordana Brewster In Camilla and Marc – 2013 MTV Movie Awards

Jordana Brewster attended the 2013 MTV Movie Awards held at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California.

The star of ‘Fast & Furious 6’ – yes, it’s still going – wore a summery Camilla and Marc white dress.

Her one-shoulder ponti dress, with a form-fitting silhouette, pleating at the front and back, and a ruffle hem at the mid-length skirt, was styled with white Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps.

The only pop of colour from her look came via the green piping on her pumps.

Bella Thorne In Emporio Armani – 2013 MTV Movie Awards

Bella Thorne surprised me when she took to the red carpet at the Sony Pictures Studios at Culver City for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday evening.

That’s because the strapless-floral-dress-loving star wore a chic Emporio Armani suit and metallic-gold shoes by the same designers on this occasion.

Her ivory suit with a single-button blazer and slim-fit pants wasn’t as one note as it may appear; she added some colourful accessories, including an Alice + Olivia ‘Clee’ cross-body bag as a clutch and iridescent statement earrings.

A stylized ponytail, nude lip and gold eye makeup completed her look.

Kylie Minogue In Paco Rabanne – 2013 MTV Movie Awards

Kylie Minogue joined the many stars who took to the red carpet at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards held at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, California on Sunday evening, wearing a mini dress.

The 44-year-old Australian singer/actress wore a part-sheer chainmail silver dress from Paco Rabanne’s Fall 2012 collection.

The t-shirt-style dress isn’t really showing off Kylie’s gorgeous figure to full effect.

In fact, I think this dress is making her look wider than she is.

I’m usually a fan of Kylie’s style, but the whole look doesn’t feel very well thought out; it seems very thrown on at the last minute.

Black Christian Louboutin pumps completed her look.
