Anna Wintour In Chanel Couture – MoMA Benefit: A Tribute to Tilda Swinton

Anna Wintour In Chanel Couture - The Museum Of Modern Art 2013 Film Benefit A Tribute To Tilda Swinton

Anna Wintour joined Jessica Biel and Lupita Nyong’o at the Museum of Modern Art 2013 Film Benefit which paid tribute to Tilda Swinton in New York City yesterday evening.

The editor-in-chief of American Vogue wore a Chanel Fall 2013 Couture frock which has been Anna-ified from the runway version, as we’ve come to expect.

Anna’s frock maintains the colourful floral print and high neckline, but loses the bolero and drop-waist feature in favour of a more streamline pencil skirt.

With such a high neckline and colourful print she decided to do away with her signature beaded necklace, plus she opted not to wear her favoured nude patent-leather Manolo Blahnik kitten heels, swapping them for a strappy nude satin sandal.

One small step for a man, a giant leap for mankind.

You may remember that just last week Diane Kruger wore the strapless version of this frock.

After attending Chris Kirkpatrick’s wedding wearing black this weekend, Jessica Biel opted for white while attending the Museum of Modern Art 2013 Film Benefit: A Tribute to Tilda Swinton in New York City yesterday evening.

Like Tilda Swinton and Lupita Nyong’o, the actress wore Chanel, selecting a strapless white dress with a step hemline and front patch pockets from the Resort 2014 collection.

As you know, I wasn’t always an advocate of Jessica’s style, but she has really come into her own.
She looks so graceful here, even with the heavy-looking neck/shoulder piece which drapes so elegantly and complements the pristine white look rather than upstaging it.

Metallic-gold Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps and a pearl-accented Chanel Spring 2014 clutch, which I recently saw at the brand’s London press day, accessorized her look.

Sleek centre-parted locks and a gorgeous green colour applied to her lower lids provided the finishing touches.

Lupita Nyong’o showcased her much-loved sartorial style while attending the Museum of Modern Art 2013 Film Benefit: A Tribute to Tilda Swinton in New York City yesterday evening.

The actress donned a Chanel Fall 2013 Couture look consisting of a tiled metallic high-neck dress styled with a chic double-breasted silver jacket.

Louboutin strappy sandals and a black quilted Chanel clutch accessorized her look and, as always, her makeup is perfect.

The most exciting thing about this event is that Lupita got to mingle with Ms Wintour. With her award-season run ensured, let’s hope Anna celebrates Lupita style and beauty with a Vogue cover.

The Museum of Modern Art 2013 Film Benefit paid tribute to Tilda Swinton in New York City yesterday evening.

As the face of Chanel’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection, the Scottish actress wore a chic look from their Spring 2014 collection.

Uniquely androgynous as always, Tilda kept it simple wearing a boucle black-and-white jacket with silky-smooth wide-leg pants, opting for no jewels and barely there makeup.

Drew Barrymore In Chanel Couture – MoMA Film Benefit: A Tribute To Pedro Almodovar

Drew Barrymore attended the Museum Of Modern Art 4th Annual Film Benefit, ‘A Tribute To Pedro Almodovar’, in New York City with boyfriend Will Kopelman.

The actress looked divine wearing a Chanel Fall 2011 dress.

Her dress with multi-coloured feather-embroidered details was teamed with a chic black short-sleeve jacket.

On this occasion, unlike Sarah Jessica Parker, the jacket actually enhances the look.

Drew accessorized with Chanel fine jewels and a black satin bag.

I love the simple bun, but I think her makeup is too ghostly despite the dark pink lip colour.

Elizabeth Olsen In Chanel Couture – MoMA Film Benefit: A Tribute To Pedro Almodovar

Elizabeth Olsen continues to prove that she’s not only a rising star on the big screen but also on the red carpet.

She oozed charm and sophistication whilst attending the Museum Of Modern Art 4th Annual Film Benefit, ‘A Tribute To Pedro Almodovar’, in New York City last night.

The actress wore a Chanel Fall 2009 Couture dress.

Her dress has an asymmetrical hemline and red satin lining is complemented by her waistband which is accented with silver detail.

I’m loving those retro waves, which seem to be a continuing trend on the red carpet.

Elizabeth accessorized with toe-cap Chanel pumps, Chanel fine jewlery and a satin clutch.

I’m glad she didn’t add red lips to this look which would’ve been overkill; instead she opted for a neutral nude colour.
