Helena Bonham Carter In Marc Jacobs – ‘Frankenweenie 3D’ London Film Festival Premiere

Helena Bonham Carter and director Tim Burton attended the premiere of ‘Frankenweenie 3D’ which opened the 56th BFI London Film Festival at the Odeon Leicester Square in London yesterday evening.
The actress wore a familiar Marc Jacobs Resort 2011 dress.

This is the second outing for this black-and-white floral lace dress, because Helena wore it to the 2011 SAG Awards, but on this occasion she styled it with a black silk bolero.

There was a time when this sort of thing would’ve been frowned upon, but the Duchess has made reruns perfectly acceptable.

Helena’s signature curls were piled on top of her head, with kohl-rimmed eyes, light pink lips and pearl drop earrings completing her look.

Joely Richardson glided down the red carpet for the ‘Anonymous’ London Film Festival premiere which took place at the Empire Leicester Square last night.

She opted to wear a failsafe Marchesa strapless tulle-and-lace gown with an embroidered waistband.

Old Hollywood retro waves captured the essence of the dark romanticism of her look.

She accessorized with Bochic for Annoushka earrings and a sparkling clutch.

Minnie Driver In Alberta Ferretti – ‘Hunky Dory’ London Film Festival Premiere

Minnie Driver returned to the red carpet for the London Film Festival premiere of her latest movie ‘Hunky Dory’ last night.

The actress wore an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2011 gown.

Her grey silk satin gown with an asymmetrical cold-shoulder sleeve was teamed with a black Edie Parker clutch with silver hardware.

Soft waves and crystal drop earrings completed her look.

Rebecca Hall In Marios Schwab – ‘The Awakening’ London Film Festival Premiere

Rebecca Hall is the latest star to brave a cold night in the capital wearing a Spring 2012 dress.

This evening she walked the red carpet at the Vue West End for the London Film Festival premeire for ‘The Awakening’.

My first thought was that Rebecca is a bit too vanilla to pull off this Marios Schwab Spring 2012 halter mini dress, especially with the runway shoes.

But on reflection I happy that she wore the runway shoes instead Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ pumps – I think we’ve seen enough of those today.

The only thing that this look really needed was a super sleek high ponytail to give it an edge.

Keira Knightley In Roksanda Ilincic – ‘A Dangerous Method’ London Film Festival Premiere

Keira Knightley took to the red carpet tonight for the London Film Festival premiere of her latest movie, ‘A Dangerous Method’.

I was delighted to see her wearing something that wasn’t predictable on this occasion.

She looked amazing wearing a Roksanda Ilincic Resort 2012 dress.

This black and dove grey look is a brave choice on a cold winter night in London, but she totally rocks it as she’s so statuesque and graceful.

Her calf length dress with a criss-cross bodice and keyhole detail was styled with a super slick side parted bun.

Black ankle strap sandals, a Chanel ring and a nude lip colour completed her look.

Many of you continue to dislike this length of dress on the red carpet, so how do you feel about it on Keira?

Madonna In L’Wren Scott – ‘W.E.’ London Film Festival Premiere

Madonna took to the red carpet in London last night for the ‘W.E.’ London Film Festival premiere which was held at the Empire, Leicester Square.

She donned a L’Wren Scott Spring 2012 dress.

The signature L’Wren Scott fitted LBD was embroidered with a hot-pink leaf detail from the shoulder to the hemline.

Fishnet tights and black pumps accessorized her look.

Despite feeling like I’ve seen this style of dress a thousand times on the red carpet, it was the perfect look for Madonna who is the director and not the star of this movie.
