Rachel Zoe In Valentino – 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Rachel Zoe In Valentino - 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Rachel Zoe joined a host of celebrities for the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala honouring Barbara Kruger and Quentin Tarantino which was presented by Gucci at the LACMA on Saturday (November 1) in Los Angeles, California.

The celebrity stylist wore a Valentino gown in a striking salmon-pink hue which could’ve overwhelmed her petite frame, however, she looked at least 6ft tall.

Proving that she knows her craft, she effortlessly styled the dramatic piece with a selection of gold accessories including David Webb jewels.

Golden tresses falling down one side and a soft pink glossy lip rounded out this better-than-some-of-the-celebs red carpet look.

The gents were not to be outdone at the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (November 1) in Los Angeles.

Chadwick Boseman: Wearing a Gucci one-of-a-kind black velvet notch-lapel two-button Signoria tuxedo with a white dress shirt, he added a touch of flair to his look with a polka-dot bow tie.

Eddie Redmayne: It’s another winning look for the British actor, who looked very dapper in his slim-fit Gucci one-of-a-kind black cashmere peak-lapel two-button suit with a white dress shirt, slim cashmere tie and black leather lace-up shoes. As always, I’m buying what he is selling.

2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala Red Carpet Roundup

2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick roundup of a few of the other Gucci-clad stars and a few others who attended the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (November 1) in Los Angeles.

Kate Beckinsale: Working an unfamiliar silhouette yet still oozing with glamour, the British actress wore a Gucci one-of-a-kind mauve gown featuring jewelled detailing, a high side slit and an open back. Swapping her favoured ponytail for a high bun, Kate styled her look with a Kotur clutch, Jack Vartanian diamond earrings and nude Gucci crystal-encrusted sandals.

Evan Rachel Wood: The face of Gucci’s Guilty fragrance wore a Gucci one-of-a-kind black long-sleeved gown infused with some gothic flavour via the lace inserts at the bodice and sleeves. A hypnotic rouge lip, black embellished Gucci heels and a black Gucci satin box clutch rounded out her look.

Toni Garrn: The model looked very statuesque wearing a pale-blue Gucci Cruise 2015 long-sleeved gown with silver crystal-embellished tubular detailing around the neckline. Letting the gown do all the talking, her hair and makeup were kept simple, with Gucci jewels adding a touch of sparkle.

Charlotte Casiraghi In Gucci – 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Charlotte Casiraghi In Gucci - 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Charlotte Casiraghi, the face of Gucci Cosmetics, attended the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (November 1) in Los Angeles.

The royal wore a Gucci Spring 2015 blue and green embroidered halter-neck gown accented with a belt and styled with a pair of metallic Gucci heels and a metallic-blue leather Gucci box clutch.

Now, I said it may be impossible to pick a favourite, but this might just be it, from the intriguing detailing to the mix of colours and the all round effortless nature of her styling, plus the classic updo.

This captivated me in a totally different way to Kate Hudson and JLo’s couture gowns with its vintage-inspired romanticism.

Kate Hudson In Gucci Première – 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Joined by her beau, Matthew Bellamy, Kate Hudson took to the red carpet for the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (November 1) in Los Angeles.

Like JLo, Kate also had the honour of wearing a Gucci Première gown; hers was a soft rose silk chiffon one-shoulder gown featuring a twisted tulle overlay on a fully embroidered skirt and bodice which gave a faint glimmer as she walked the red carpet.

Enchanting and alluring in equal measures, Kate styled her look with a silver satin embroidered clutch, glossy tresses and a fuchsia-pink lip for a delightful pop of colour.

There were a lot of PBs happening on this red carpet. This is yet another. Picking a firm favourite from this bunch will be near impossible.

Jennifer Lopez In Gucci Première – 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Jennifer Lopez attended the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (November 1) in Los Angeles.

Oozing unadulterated glamour in a way only she can, the ‘American Idol’ judge glided down the red carpet wearing a Gucci Première navy-blue deep-plunging gown fully embroidered with Montana blue crystals and metallic paillettes.

At times, even someone of JLo’s stature can be accused of trying too hard, but here she is in her element, styling her look with soft subtle waves, neutral makeup, striking jewels including Jorge Adeler diamond earrings and three Le Vian rings and a complementary clutch.

Would you agree that this is easily her best look this year?

This is the JLo I know and love, sexy face and all.

Kim Kardashian In Cushnie et Ochs – 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Kim Kardashian In Cushnie et Ochs - 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala

Kim Kardashian attended the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (November 1) in Los Angeles alongside hubby Kanye West.

There’s no disguising it or skirting around the issue, this Cushnie et Ochs Spring 2015 petrol-blue one-shoulder gown featuring a draped neck, thin halter strap and asymmetrical hem is way too tight around the hips for her.

Love her or loathe her, this is unforgivable considering the slit was likely to come undone at the asymmetrical seam once she sat down.

Even though I can’t say I’m her biggest fan, I can’t believe even she made such a bad faux pas.

The Tom Ford shoes are the only thing I would save from the look, as the diamond choker overcooked it.
