LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala Red Carpet Roundup

LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala

Plenty more stars joined Diane Kruger, Reese Witherspoon, Kim Kardashian and Naomi Campbell for the LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala on Saturday (November 7) in Los Angeles, California, which was hosted by Gucci.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: The model was a picture so loveliness wearing a Gucci Resort 2016 deep v-neck pleated layered gown. With the black ribbons for contrast, I don’t think the choker was needed here.

Dakota Johnson: This made me swoon. From the saffron hue, to the overall styling and elegance oozing from this Gucci Resort 2016 one of a kind gown. At first I didn’t quite get her style, but she’s most definitely one of my favourites now.

Brit Marling: The actress, who is one of my favourites, wore Gucci Resort 2016 pink suit.   I desperately wanted to love this, but damn those trousers are bringing me out in hives as they’re clearly too big for her. Mustard satin Gucci ‘Sylvia’ sandals and a Gucci yellow silk brocade clutch completed this near-perfect look.

Naomi Campbell attended the LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala on Saturday (November 7) in Los Angeles, California.

The supermodel was part of Riccardo Tisci’s Givenchy girl gang, but unlike Kim Kardashian, Naomi picked a winner.

Naomi’s gown which was rendered in leather patches applied on tulle in the shape of alligator skin also benefits from studded details to amp up the fierceness of this bold look.

Kim Kardashian attended the LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala on Saturday (November 7) in Los Angeles, California.

Just this weekend my sister and I were discussing how Kim appeared to be taking a back seat in the fame game and that Kylie was to become the new Kim.

Well it looks like Kim isn’t ready to give up her crown just yet, judging by her latest red carpet look from Givenchy’s Spring 2016 collection.

I mean, just when you thought she hit the bottom of the barrel when it came to lows, Kim appears to have stumbled upon a trap door to discover a brand new low, the lowest of the lows.

This is shameful for all involved.

Diane Kruger In Monique Lhuillier – LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala

Diane Kruger attended the LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala on Saturday (November 7) in Los Angeles, California, alongside her Gucci-clad beau Joshua Jackson.

We’ve always loved Diane’s unique style, but many of you have not been too enamoured by her red carpet looks of late.

Perhaps that’s because she’s gone from discovering up and coming designers, to going all “Hollywood” opting for red carpet designers like Monique Lhuillier.

Her second look a row from Lhuillier’s Spring 2016 collection is perhaps one of my favourites from Diane this year.

Not only because of the cool two shades of blue. My affection for this look stems from the sleek asymmetrical train, the intelligently tailored components and pops of pink.

If I could change one thing it would be the Chanel Fine Jewelry ‘Ciel Etoilé’ necklace as it feels so unnecessary, but I would say this is another win for Diane.

Do you agree?

Reese Witherspoon In Brandon Maxwell – LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala

Reese Witherspoon attended the LACMA 2015 Art+Film Gala on Saturday (November 7) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a Brandon Maxwell Spring 2016 black strapless gown.

No doubt mindful that the gown didn’t have much detail, the actress styled the look with opulent gold earrings and a matching cuff.

While I appreciate the styling, I still find the look underwhelming. Mostly because its so similar to the dress she wore on her last red carpet outing.

Methinks she need to get back to her pre awards season form, as this current run is becoming rather repetitive.
