Ariel Winter In Moschino Cheap & Chic – 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree

I love Ariel Winter; she’s never looked more adorable than last night on the red carpet at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, California, for the 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree.

She is one of the rare, young stars who knows how to dress her age and isn’t in a hurry to dress too maturely.

You can’t get a more fun and age-appropriate look than a Moschino Cheap and Chic Spring 2012 dress.

Her white halter, pleated, summery floral print dress is one of my favourites of the night.

Factor in that cute bouffant side-swept ponytail, the lust-worthy pink pumps and matching lip colour and we have a head-to-toe BDOTW worthy look.

Malin Akerman In Cushnie et Ochs – 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree

Malin Akerman managed to stand out on a very busy red carpet at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, California, at the 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree last night.

That’s because she selected this gorgeous Cushnie et Ochs Resort 2013 sexy frock.

Her red-hot silk maxi dress not only had a central split, but also had a keyhole detail. Was this one detail too many?

Blonde wavy locks tumbled down her back with a matching red clutch, nude-and-black Tibi sandals, a coral lip colour and gold jewels completed her sultry look.

Ashley Madekwe In Zimmermann – 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree

Ashley Madekwe joined her ‘Revenge’ co-star Christa B. Allen and a host of P.Y.T.s on the red carpet at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, California, for InStyle’s Summer Soiree last night.

The actress looked divine wearing a Zimmermann Resort 2013 dress.

Many know Zimmermann for their sexy swimwear, but the Australian brand continues to prove that they know a thing or two about ready-to-wear.

Ashley’s white-and-pink splatter print halter dress was styled with a gold Edie Parker clutch, and a pair of the still-popular Christian Louboutin ‘Bis Un Bout’ pumps in red.

I’m glad she was more daring with her footwear choice.

With Ashley’s hair pulled back to showcase that high neckline, she completed her look with shimmering pink lips and black tasselled earrings.

She was easily one of my favourites on the night.

Jaime King In Marchesa – 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree

Jaime King is always a delight on the red carpet; she looked stunning as ever when attending InStyle’s Summer Soiree at the London Hotel in West Hollywood, California, last night.

The ‘Hart of Dixie’ actress was dressed in a beautiful Marchesa Resort 2013 one-shoulder cocktail dress with cascading ruffles, a layered peplum detail at the waist and patent bow accent.

Her stunning scarlet dress was styled with an eye-catching Marchesa beaded-and-sequin embellished clutch for a touch of pizzazz to the look.

To prevent the look from being too one note, she added nude Jimmy Choo ‘Delta’ strappy sandals and applied a rose-pink lip colour with gold studded earrings and a slicked-back bun providing the finishing touches.

I know some of you aren’t the biggest fans of Marchesa’s work, but you have to admit that this look is pretty special.

Christa B. Allen In Giorgio Armani – 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree

Christa B. Allen added a beautiful burst of colour to the red carpet at the 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree held at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, California last night.

The ‘Revenge’ star’s summery look is actually a Fall 2012 look by Giorgio Armani.

I love the mix of colours and the origami-style detail around her waist. This wasn’t an easy choice, but Christa pulls it off.

Known for her love of interesting heels, on this occasion she selected a nude pair of triple-stack Ruthie Davis pumps.

The rest of her complementary accessories included Alexis Bittar jewels and a silver Judith Leiber ‘Overture’ clutch.

Loose waves and a pretty tangy coral lip colour completed her look.

Because I could never walk in those heels, I am loving this look from the ankles up.

Sophia Bush In Ted Baker London – 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree

After going for a masculine look for her last red carpet appearance, Sophia Bush opted for something more feminine for the 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree, held at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, California, last night.

I hate to say it, as she’s one of my faves, but I’m not crazy about the look.

The actress teamed a Ted Baker ‘Margi’ mustard detailed collar blouse with a Ted Baker ‘Larinda Decoupage’ skirt, which has a beautiful floral print with a contrasting waistband, but the styling doesn’t work for me.

The black pumps are too heavy, not only for this look but for any event with the words ‘summer soiree’ on the invitation.

I’m also not a fan of the lacquered and loose hairstyle.

A heavy, dark lip colour, a selection of jewels which brighten up the look somewhat and a striped Edie Parker clutch completed the look.
