The Times Of India Film Awards 2013

The Times Of India Film Awards 2013 took place in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday evening, with a host of Bollywood stars taking to the red carpet.

Priyanka Chopra: The actress wore a black halterneck gown with gold embroidery by Arpan Vohra. The smouldering beauty added a Louis Vuitton black satin clutch, which also had a gold accent. Her side-swept curly locks and elegant poise ensured she was my third BDOTW contender and it’s still only Monday.

Ileana D’Cruz: The actress gave this Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2004 gown its second run on the red carpet in five months. You may remember that Selena Gomez wore this gown to the UNICEF Snowflake Ball back in November.

Aditi Rao: Despite not being a black gown like the other two, Aditi’s Gauri and Nainika strapless gown was not particularly flattering. I’m not so fond of the sheen or the colour.

Deepika Padukone In Naeem Khan – Grazia Young Fashion Awards 2013

Deepika Padukone attended the Grazia Young Fashion Awards 2013 held at Hotel Taj Land’s End in Bandra, Mumbai on Friday.

The Bollywood beauty looked breathtaking wearing a Naeem Khan Spring 2013 gown as she collected her ‘Girl of the Year’ award.

Her gorgeous cream gown, featuring a deep keyhole detail, floral-thread-work-embroidered top, and a georgette draped skirt, was accented with silver crystals around the waist.

She accessorized with sparkling peep-toe heels and emerald five-stone drop earrings.

Her glossy brunette locks were swept over the shoulder in retro curls. She notched up the retro look with a blazing red pout and extra-thick eyebrows.

Shimmering eye shadow and a nude manicure completed the stunning look.

Freida Pinto In Naeem Khan – Naeem Khan Mumbai Fashion Show

Naeem Khan showcased his stunning designs, which never fail to light up a Hollywood red carpet, in Mumbai, India for the first time last night.

He invited the gorgeous Bollywood-Hollywood actress Freida Pinto to the show, who was perched in the front row wearing a beautiful dress from his Fall 2013 collection.

Freida donned a black one-shoulder dress with gold beaded lace appliqué which she styled with gold lace Jimmy Choo sandals.

A gold bracelet, a dark manicure and a braid updo completed her look.

Sonam Kapoor In Elie Saab – Hindustan Times Style Awards 2013

Sonam Kapoor attended the Hindustan Times Style Awards 2013 held at Hotel ITC Grand Central in Parel, Mumbai on Thursday evening.

The Indian actress wore a black Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2013 gown with cross-strap detailing and a gold-accented waist belt, which is our first look at this collection on the red carpet.

Her dress might have been considered ho-hum had it not been for the styling.

Fierce wing-tip eyes, a gold Elie Saab box clutch and on-trend ear cuffs courtesy of Valliyan by Nitya accessorized her look.

You’ll be forgiven if Doctor Spock comes to mind when looking at her ear cuffs.

Bipasha Basu In Gucci – 2013 Stardust Awards

Bipasha Basu attended the 2013 Stardust awards held at the MMRDA Grounds, Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai, India on Saturday.

The Bollywood star looked radiant wearing a saffron-yellow Gucci Spring 2013 strapless gown with tiered ruffles.

A rich gold necklace gave the look a traditional feel, but this minimalist look didn’t require it.

Also, I prefer how the dress was styled on the runway as it does show the banded detail.

You may remember that Kate Beckinsale wore this same gown in pink earlier this month.

Deepika Padukone In Prabal Gurung – 58th Idea Filmfare Awards

Regarded as one of the best-dressed celebrities in India, Deepika Padukone showcased her impeccable style on the red carpet at the 58th Idea Filmfare Awards in Andheri, Mumbai on Sunday evening.
The actress slipped into a sexy Prabal Gurung Fall 2012 gown.

Her plunging gown, with sheer panels and a central slit, was worn with the leather belt as worn by the model on the runway.

Deepika’s styling was very simple, with Christian Louboutin pumps and Jade Jagger rings.

With her hair styled into a slicked-back ponytail, she rounded off her smouldering look with bold red lips and a black manicure.

You may remember that Zoe Saldana wore this same dress to the CFDA Awards when escorting the designer to the event last year.
