Priyanka Chopra In Maticevski – Star Guild Awards

Priyanka Chopra In Maticevski - Star Guild Awards

Priyanka Chopra attended the Star Guild Awards on Sunday (January 13) where she picked up another ‘Best Actress’ award for ‘Mary Kom’.

The actress wore a fluorescent orange mesh Maticevski Resort 2015 strapless gown featuring a fitted bodice and a dramatic high-low skirt with tuck details at front and side.

The impactful piece was styled with a rose-gold Mawi necklace and matching glitter Louboutins with her hair swept up into a bouffant ponytail.

This is a much bolder look from Priyanka – a much stronger and fiercer step outside her comfort zone.

I would’ve perhaps lost the necklace, but everything else works for me.

You may remember that Lily Collins gave this dress its red carpet debut late last year.

Priyanka Chopra In Theia – 21st Lion’s Gold Awards

Priyanka Chopra In Theia - 21st Lion's Gold Awards

Priyanka Chopra attended the 21st Lion’s Gold Awards ceremony in Mumbai on Tuesday (January 6) where she picked up an award for her film, ‘Mary Kom’.

Oozing elegance, the Bollywood beauty was working a 50s-style look, donning a Theia Spring 2014 bright pink brocade tea-length party dress with a black boat-neck crepe bodice.

This fit-and-flare style is anything but demure with its vibrant pink skirt, but the look was toned down with Jimmy Choo nude and black mesh pumps, Vinita Michael vintage earrings and a chic updo.

Priyanka Chopra In Pankaj and Nidhi – Abu Dhabi Film Festival

Priyanka Chopra In Pankaj and Nidhi - Abu Dhabi Film Festival

Priyanka Chopra took to the red carpet at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival for the Bollywood Nights event on Wednesday (October 29) in Abu Dhabi.

The actress wore a fresh-off-the-runway Pankaj and Nidhi Spring 2015 light-blue fitted gown with pastel-hued delicate embroidery which might just be one of my favourite looks from her.

Unapologetically feminine, she styled the look with a chic updo, coral lips and Valliyan earrings which perhaps should’ve been toned down considering the detailing on her dress.

Priyanka Chopra In Giorgio Armani – Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa

Priyanka Chopra In Giorgio Armani - Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa

Priyanka Chopra made a guest appearance on a popular television show in Mumbai called ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ yesterday evening (August 19) to promote her new movie, ‘Mary Kom’, which is about a boxer who has won the world championship several times against all odds.

Undeterred by the somewhat bitter taste Will Arnett left in your mouth by wearing a white suit on the red carpet, the Bollywood actress donned a crisp white Giorgio Armani suit.

J’adore the sleekness of the look, the clean lines and the rather interesting black scoop top emblazoned with the phrase “you just can’t beat a person who won’t give up”, no doubt in reference to her movie.

Sunshine-yellow Jimmy Choo ‘Tebori’ sandals and Suhani Pittie jewels accessorized her look, with a flaming-red lip, slicked-back hair and smouldering eyes rounding out her look.

Priyanka Chopra In Rachel Gilbert- 'Mary Kom' Music Launch

Priyanka Chopra attended the music launch of her latest film, ‘Mary Kom’, in Mumbai on Wednesday (August 13).

The actress wore a summery-hued mint-green Rachel Gilbert dress which looked divine against her skin.

This expertly tailored peplum dress featuring the designer’s love for embellishment was styled with white Louboutin pumps and a selection of silver jewels.

Even though I am not the greatest fan of white shoes, I am totally enamoured by the elegance of this look from head to toe.

Kangana Ranaut In Christian Dior – IFFM Awards 2014

Kangana Ranaut In Christian Dior - IFFM Awards 2014

Kangana Ranaut attended the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne Awards held at the Princess Theatre on Friday (May 2) in Melbourne, Australia.

The Indian beauty wore a distinctive Christian Dior Spring 2014 dress with a strapless black bodice accented with an emblem and a metallic embroidered silver and blue ball skirt.

Keeping accessories to an absolute minimum, she styled her look with gunmetal Dior pumps and a black clutch.

I’m glad no distracting jewels were featured here; just a clean, simple hairstyle and a pop of red on the lips.

We have seen a few versions of this look on the red carpet, some with long sleeves. Ni Ni wore a similar strapless look earlier this year to the China Trends Awards.
