Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2017 Red Carpet Roundup

There were lots of striking outfits at the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2017 in London, England on Thursday (November 2).

Arizona Muse: Proving black isn’t boring, the model presented a glamorous finish in Ralph & Russo Fall 2017 Couture. The plunging neckline was decorated with a myriad of rhinestones mimicking a statement necklace. A high slit provided some relief to the ornate front and long sleeves.

Georgia May Jagger: The model wore The Vampire’s Wife Cate dress. The inky mini was emboldened with a metallic blue floral detail and delicate frills. She brought out the blue tones with her clutch and makeup, while the vertiginous black sandals enhanced her pins and the dress’s short hemline.

Natasha Poly: Clad in Vivienne Westwood Couture, the Russian model looked ravishing in the jewel tone floral sequin corseted mini dress, with nude underskirt. Some might wish the under layer wasn’t visible, but the surprise detail enhanced the lighter tones in the outer layer while balancing the thicker shoulder band.

Kate Winslet In Christian Dior – Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2017

Kate Winslet picked up the British Actress of the Year award at the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards in London on Thursday (November 2).

We’re used to a very specific fitted silhouette from Kate, but she changed a habit of a lifetime wearing this Christian Dior fit and flare dress.

She kept things simple and elegant, but I would’ve loved one statement accessory to enliven the look. The look was kinda screaming out for it.

Carey Mulligan In Erdem – Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2017

The Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2017 on Thursday (November 2) in London also saw Carey Mulligan in the mix alongside Gemma Arterton, Hayley Atwell, and Jodie Foster.

I was immediately charmed by how this Erdem Spring 2018 plaid dress delivered a flirtatious twist on prim styling with its asymmetrical, off-the-shoulder neckline and flared, swing skirt.

While the look was in keeping with Carey’s safe-chic persona, the little bit of extra attitude here made all the difference.

A petal-pink clutch and a bouncy bob provided a modern, ladylike finish to the ensemble.

Gemma Arterton In Ralph & Russo – Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2017

Gemma Arterton brought a dose of metallic magic to the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2017 on Thursday (November 2) in London, where Hayley Atwell and Jodie Foster were also in attendance.

We just recently saw Fan Bingbing in the megawatt metallic from the Ralph & Russo Spring 2018 collection, and I was more than happy to see another piece from the lineup here.

I love the high-octane allure of this dress, with the rosy bronze-gold tone balancing out the structured edginess

I question the wide ankle-strap black sandals, as I found them a bit distracting to the look, but the black clutch helped to integrate them more seamlessly.

Hayley Atwell In Christian Dior – Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2017

Hayley Atwell joined Jodie Foster at the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards on Thursday (November 2) in London.

Offering up a pretty-in-coral-pink mood, she wore a Christian Dior Resort 2018 frock that had an air of fanciful femininity.

By now, the embroidered Dior straps are nothing new, but I know many will be relieved that the look came without a sighting of the similarly branded knickers.

Balancing out the whimsicality of the feathery motif with an air of sophistication, she styled the look with a Dior clutch, black Manolo Blahnik pumps to echo the ribbon belt, and Stephen Webster jewels.
