Naomi Campbell In Alexander McQueen – Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013

Naomi Campbell In Alexander McQueen - Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013

Naomi Campbell was also in Berkeley Square Gardens in London on Tuesday evening for the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013.

The supermodel, who is currently in town shooting her modelling reality TV show ‘The Face’, wore an Alexander McQueen black dress with gold-embellished shoulders which resembles some pieces we saw in the Resort 2011 collection.

I want to like this look, but I can’t. It doesn’t scream supermodel to me. I don’t like the pleated skirt, and the styling is very lacklustre.

I’m also bothered by the way she styled her hair with such a decorative neckline.

It’s a no from head to toe.

The Saturdays – Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013

Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013 - Red Carpet Arrivals

The Saturdays attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013 on Tuesday evening and surprisingly it was Mollie King who was my least favourite of the group.

Mollie King: On the right person this Louis Heal red illusion gown would’ve worked, but Mollie is way too vanilla for this look.

Vanessa White: Wearing an Amen Couture long-sleeved embellished mini dress, all I can focus on are the twins.

Una Healy: The singer also wore an Amen Couture gown. Her purple embellished strapless gown was styled with screen-siren wavy tresses.

Frankie Sandford: The mother-to-be gave her new longer locks a red carpet debut. She opted for a bump-reavling fitted Halston Heritage black gown with a chiffon skirt, to which she added an orange patterned clutch to add some colour to her look.

If I had to pick a favourite it would be Frankie. Do you have a favourite? Or is that a stupid question?

Hayden Panettiere In Black Halo Eve – Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013

Hayden Panettiere In Black Halo Eve - Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013

Hayden Panettiere showed us her fashion stripes on the red carpet of the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013, hosted Tuesday night at Berkeley Square Gardens in London.

The ‘Nashville’ starlet wore a monochromatic Black Halo Eve ensemble that featured a structured, all-business Helmut Lang blazer buttoned over a more flirty, horizontally striped frock.

The polished look trended more towards office-chic than glamour-girl, even with Hayden softening the edges via her romantic updo and glowing makeup. Those heavy black booties seemed better suited for fall.

I found myself wanting to see the dress without the jacket and with bolder statement earrings to go with the flash of that metallic Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’ clutch.

Samantha Barks In Roland Mouret – Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013

Samantha Barks was thinking pink, as she picked up the Pandora Breakthrough trophy at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013, held at Berkeley Square Gardens in London on Tuesday.

Like Jessie J, Samantha electrified the evening with a bold colour, showing off a hot-magenta dress from Roland Mouret’s Resort 2013 collection.

It’s always a thrill to see brightly hued numbers take to the red carpet, and this was no exception.

The halter-neck dress featured an interesting bow-tied detail at the back, so a side-parted updo ensured it wasn’t covered up.

The British actress finished the look with shiny gold peep-toe heels, along with a smoky eye and nude lip.

Rashida Jones In Erdem – Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013

Rashida Jones In Erdem - Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013

Rashida Jones lounged around the red carpet at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013, where she picked up the Filmmaker prize, on Tuesday at London’s Berkeley Square Gardens.

Donning her bedroom best, she tried out a dark navy look from Erdem’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection that was splashed with a bright English garden floral print.

She wore a modified version from the designer’s lookbook, sans the matching, sheer organza cape, but I wonder if it would have added some interesting drama while lessening the PJs effect.

There’s no doubt the pyjama silhouette is hot right now. I’m just not sure this trendy ensemble was working for the occasion, despite Rashida’s efforts to dress it up with metallic-and-black pumps and a bold red lippie.

Does this look strike you as way cool, or just too casual?
