Taylor Schilling In Peter Pilotto - Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Taylor Schilling attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where she picked up the Editor’s Special award, no doubt for her performance in her hit show ‘Orange is the New Black’, which returns for Season 2 on June 6.

The actress wore a Peter Pilotto Fall 2014 sleeveless silver-sequined white crepe dress featuring a deep V-neck and contrast grosgrain trim, with mock toggle hardware at the waist and an asymmetric mock-wrap front construction.

I’m missing the white waistband we saw on the runway; without it this look has no defined waist, making her appear boxy in shape.

Her nude, black and silver Jimmy Choo ‘Sunday’ pumps wouldn’t have been my first choice. I don’t think they complement the look very well here, unlike her pearl Edie Parker clutch, which was a perfect addition to her look.

Glamour Women Of The Year Awards - Arrivals

Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall from Little Mix attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where they picked up the award for Band of the Year.

Leigh-Anne Pinnock: The glamour girl of the group opted for a pretty strapless gown with a sculptured bodice and a heavenly printed chiffon ball skirt.

Jesy Nelson: Going in the opposite direction, the singer donned all black, working a Saint Laurent tuxedo jumpsuit, opening up the neckline to reveal a black lace tube bra. The look was styled with black pumps and a black clutch, with a vampy red lip providing the finishing touch. The pant length should’ve been shortened. I like the idea but not the execution.

Perrie Edwards: Opting for a classic black and white look, the singer donned an elegant Donna Mizani gown styled with a black beaded Zara clutch. The death-warmed-up makeup is throwing me off here.

Jade Thirlwall: Perhaps the most casual of the group, Jade wore a crisp white Alexander McQueen shirt dress with an asymmetrical hemline, styled with pops of red via her lips and Zara strappy sandals.

I love the cohesion, they all complement each other well while staying true to their individual styles, but only Leigh-Anne and Jade nailed their looks from head to toe for me.

Jenna Coleman In Paul & Joe - Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Jenna Coleman attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where she picked up the UK TV Actress award for the TV series ‘Doctor Who’.

She opted for a summery look, wearing a Paul & Joe Spring 2014 strapless floral-print drop-waist dress with a distant relaxed feel which works perfectly in tune with her no-fuss, cutesy style.

Tousled tresses and pewter sandals rounded out her look.

Sarah Hyland In Gucci - Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Sarah Hyland attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where she picked up the Comedy Actress award for ‘Modern Family’.

The actress shimmered in a Gucci Resort 2014 pewter and green T-shirt-style dress styled with nude Louboutin pumps, a gold Roger Vivier clutch, a Zoe and Morgan gold spike ring and Givenchy earrings.

The only thing I would take out of this equation is the clutch. I would’ve opted to keep it simple and neutral, like her pumps.

Blown-out tresses and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her chic look.

Alexa Chung In Christian Dior - Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Alexa Chung attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where she picked up the Entrepreneur of the Year award.

The other surprising thing is that the TV presenter didn’t wear Chanel, instead opting for a Christian Dior Resort 2015 fit-and-flare black frock with a sheer embroidered bodice – which shatters my theory that if you are considered a Chanel ambassador (as she is) you can’t wear Dior.

My surprise is three-fold as I don’t find myself disliking the look.

Something has shifted when it comes to Alexa’s style. Perhaps she’s finally attempting to live up to her fashion icon status, as the hair looks good, I love the dress, the clunky mannish shoes have given way to dainty sandals, and she’s even sporting a tan.

Did hell freeze over, because I really love this from head to toe.
