Jenna Coleman In Paul & Joe - Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Jenna Coleman attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where she picked up the UK TV Actress award for the TV series ‘Doctor Who’.

She opted for a summery look, wearing a Paul & Joe Spring 2014 strapless floral-print drop-waist dress with a distant relaxed feel which works perfectly in tune with her no-fuss, cutesy style.

Tousled tresses and pewter sandals rounded out her look.

Sarah Hyland attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where she picked up the Comedy Actress award for ‘Modern Family’.

The actress shimmered in a Gucci Resort 2014 pewter and green T-shirt-style dress styled with nude Louboutin pumps, a gold Roger Vivier clutch, a Zoe and Morgan gold spike ring and Givenchy earrings.

The only thing I would take out of this equation is the clutch. I would’ve opted to keep it simple and neutral, like her pumps.

Blown-out tresses and kohl-rimmed eyes completed her chic look.

Alexa Chung In Christian Dior – Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Alexa Chung attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where she picked up the Entrepreneur of the Year award.

The other surprising thing is that the TV presenter didn’t wear Chanel, instead opting for a Christian Dior Resort 2015 fit-and-flare black frock with a sheer embroidered bodice – which shatters my theory that if you are considered a Chanel ambassador (as she is) you can’t wear Dior.

My surprise is three-fold as I don’t find myself disliking the look.

Something has shifted when it comes to Alexa’s style. Perhaps she’s finally attempting to live up to her fashion icon status, as the hair looks good, I love the dress, the clunky mannish shoes have given way to dainty sandals, and she’s even sporting a tan.

Did hell freeze over, because I really love this from head to toe.

Emily VanCamp attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where she picked up the International TV Actress award for ‘Revenge’.

The actress opted for a ladylike Monique Lhuillier Fall 2014 fuchsia tweed-print neoprene high-neck bell-sleeved midi dress accented with a black patent belt.

While the look feels more morning show or photocall appropriate by my reckoning, the look is well styled with black pumps, a gold clutch and a pretty pink lip.

Naomi Campbell attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where she picked up the TV Personality award for her show ‘The Face’.

The supermodel, who jetted in from New York following her appearance on the red carpet wearing a Marc Jacobs gown at the CFDA Fashion Awards, opted for a fiery McQueen number on this occasion.

The fringed gladiator-style black and red piece worn with the runway gold choker and statement platform heels is a hard look to upstage, but her tumbling wavy tresses really get in the way here.

Why wear a work of art such as this if 40% of it is going to be obscured by your hair?

Paloma Faith In Nicholas Oakwell Couture – Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Paloma Faith In Nicholas Oakwell Couture - Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Paloma Faith attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where she picked up the UK Solo Artist award.

As you know, I have a huge soft spot for all things Paloma Faith.

Never one to fail to bring drama to the red carpet, I was delighted to see her glide down the carpet on this occasion working this Nicholas Oakwell Couture black sheer gown with floral appliqués from the Fall 2013 collection.

It’s a Paloma gown through and through. Opting not to wear a trademark fascinator, she styled her strawberry-blonde locks into a chic updo, just adding touches of red via her lip and nails.

Some might be put off by the sheerness, but considering Rihanna’s sheer look from the CFDA Fashion Awards, this is tame.

You may remember that Gillian Anderson wore this same dress to the Harper’s Bazaar Woman of the Year awards back in November. She opted to line the gown, giving it a different look and feel entirely.

Alesha Dixon attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England.

The TV presenter’s look was much improved following the House of Holland hiccup.

Here she looks divine wearing a Peter Pilotto Spring 2014 frock, with interesting elements including the red and white heritage tweed, black floral appliqués and multi-sequin degrade square panels on the skirt and bodice.

Adding just a glossy red lip, glossier curls and Saint Laurent nude pumps, the photo-ready look strikes the perfect balance between ladylike and contemporary.
