2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Glamour Woman of The Year Awards

There were many more lovely ladies besides Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kate Hudson and Kerry Washington who attended the 2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 2) in London, England.

Gemma Chan: The British actress served up visual splendour wearing an Mary Katrantzou’s intricately printed ‘Cassandra’ dress. I’m glad she kept the spirit of this look alive with a moss-green clutch.

Gillian Anderson: There was a distinct lack of drama at this event, so up stepped Gillian Anderson wearing a nude caped gown by Australian couturier Paolo Sebastian. Some might find this a touch dated, but I’m too busy diverting my eyes away from the upper mid section.

Louise Redknapp: The British presenter usually finds herself at near the top of the my best dressed list, but that wasn’t to be the case on this occasion. While I loved the gorgeous cobalt-blue hue and her breakaway from the expected, this Proenza Schouler basket weave fringe dress fails to flatter, plus her pumps were really dull. The only plus side was the complementary Bottega Veneta clutch.

Kate Hudson attended the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 2) in London, England.

The actress looked refined and at ease putting forth a display of sensual elegance wearing a bronze J. Mendel deep v-neck pleated gown from the Pre-Fall 2015 collection.

Visually striking, this gown is a sensational delight with its lurex fabrication giving the look a retro, disco feel.

Keeping the gown in focus, a simple bun, Jimmy Choo ‘Mini Charm’ clutch and gold jewels provided the finishing touches.

Kerry Washington attended the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 2) in London, England.

The ‘Scandal’ star wore a David Koma two-piece look which was possessed plenty of pizzazz thanks to its crystal embroidered skirt.

It’s been a while since I was excited about the Prada-loving actress’ red carpet style, but this sees her back to her exciting best with what appears to be minimal effort.

Louboutin pumps, a subtle selection of jewels and an Edie Parker clutch enabled Kerry to present a modern, very well-balanced outlook.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley In Cushnie et Ochs - 2015 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 2) in London, England.

The British model/actress wore a burnt orange Cushnie et Ochs Fall 2015 dress which may be considered tame by her standards, but this look possessed both a thigh-high slit and sexy open back.

I’m really enjoying this new grown-up take on modern glamour. It’s still sexy, yet unpredictable.

Rosie styled her look with gold Brian Atwood ‘Tamara’ sandals and Jennifer Meyer jewels.

Diane Kruger In Chanel Couture – 2014 Glamour Awards

Diane Kruger In Chanel Couture - 2014 Glamour Awards

Diane Kruger attended the 2014 Glamour Awards on Thursday (December 11) in Milan, Italy.

The actress wore a Chanel Fall 2014 Couture white dress with silver embellished detailing enriching the A-line design, which she styled with a Chanel Perspex shoulder bag and nude Christian Louboutin ‘Double Tutti’ sandals.

I don’t at all mind the sandals as they don’t upstage the look, so while this is yet another fashion homerun for the German actress, I can’t quite get over the overwhelming sense of déjà vu.

Possibly due to the similar white embellished dresses with A-line silhouettes recently worn by Lupita Nyong’o and Keira Knightley, or perhaps because I had already pictured her in this dress in my mind’s eye, or because it reminded me of the Chanel dress she wore to the 2012 amfAR Gala.
