Solange Knowles’ Paris Fashion Week Style

Solange Knowles' Paris Fashion Week Style

Solange Knowles continues to be a firm fixture in the front row during Paris Fashion Week, with yesterday (March 5) being a very busy day and night.

Carven: She started off her day heading to the Carven Fall 2015 show where she wore a red look from the brand’s Pre-Fall 2015 collection styled with Malone Souliers ‘Montana’ lace sandals and a box clutch in the same mink hue. I think the fur coat with the knit sweater were overkill – it’s not that cold in Paris – plus I think the look would’ve been chicer without the overcoat.

Balmain: Next up was Balmain, where the singer opted for classic black and white. I love the edge given to her look via the cape top, but I’m not a fan of those brown accents on her clutch.

Emily Ratajkowski In Vionnet – Vionnet Fall 2015 Show

Emily Ratajkowski In Vionnet - Vionnet Fall 2015 Show

Emily Ratajkowski attended the Vionnet show during Fall 2015 Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday (March 4) in Paris, France.

The actress, who tends to stick to a specific style of dress – usually of the Cushnie et Ochs variety – opted to cover up her famed assets wearing a one-shoulder Vionnet tri-colour dress with a hint of deconstructionism.

While the dress is eye-catching, my eyes fell instantly to her Paula Cademartori ‘Cocca’ clutch with its neon patent-leather inserts and intricate design popping against the navy- and aqua-blue elements of her frock.

The Casadei pumps are a bit of a snooze and I wish she’d tied her hair back, but this is a very refreshing look from the usually one-note red carpet starlet.

Freida Pinto In Salvatore Ferragamo – Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2015 Show

Freida Pinto In Salvatore Ferragamo - Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2015 Show

Freida Pinto attended the Salvatore Ferragamo show during Milan Fashion Week Fall 2015 on Sunday (March 1) in Milan, Italy.

We all know the Indian beauty for her love for colour, but on this occasion she smouldered wearing all black.

Her Spring 2015 halter dress rendered in a fine pattern is a simple piece that makes for a timelessly classic look with round-the-clock chic appeal.

I adore the dark cherry lip, which adds a vampy vibe, and the black and white Ferragamo pumps, which enhance the classicism of the look.

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

Tom Ford Fall 2015 Front Row

While some editors and models were headed to London for round two of fashion month, Anna Wintour, Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls headed west for the Tom Ford Fall 2015 show which was showcased in LA on Friday (February 20).

The result, a packed A-List front row of which nineteen looks have been featured.

With the Oscars on Sunday and with everyone in town, it was quite a master-stroke to host the show in LA this weekend.

Julianne Moore: The actress was no doubt top of the guest list working a Spring 2015 green ensemble festooned with feathers, sequins and camo print. I would not bet against Julianne wearing Tom Ford on Sunday despite the Givenchy run up.

Gwyneth Paltrow: I expected a bit more from Gwynie. This cold shoulder Pre-Fall 2015 LBD feels a bit been there done that and boring for such an occasion.

The Carters: He was looking mighty dapper in a signature wide lapel suit, while she was looking bootylicious in a typically sheer embellished Spring 2014 creation.

Sienna Miller In Calvin Klein – Calvin Klein Fall 2015 Show

Sienna Miller In Calvin Klein - Calvin Klein Fall 2015 Show

Usually there is a packed celeb front row at Calvin Klein, however, this season the honour went to Sienna Miller, who was perched next to Anna Wintour at Spring Studios on Thursday (February 19) in New York City for the brand’s Fall 2015 show.

The British actress, who made her Broadway debut in ‘Cabaret’ earlier this week, wore an all-white – sans the heavy platform shoes – Pre-Fall 2015 Calvin Klein Collection ivory leather patchwork jacket and knit dress.

Bare legs aside, this look strides forward with a wintery impression. I love this for its effortlessness and the cool-girlish charm Sienna brings to the table.
