Front Row @ Versace Spring 2018

Many expected the front row of Versace’s Spring 2018 show to be celeb heavy, but tonight was all about celebrating an icon, so only a trios of stars were front and center.

I was very excited to be seated behind them.

Amber Valleta: I’m sure you’re thinking this tuxedo dress was a bit of a snooze, but this picture doesn’t tell the true story as the party was at the back. The open back was accented with chains for a true rock n’ roll Versace touch.

Charlene, Princess of Monaco: I have never been in the presence of royalty, so this was quite an honour. I was immediately captivated by how statuesque Charlene was. And even more so by her graceful manor and calming presence when the room felt so hectic. There was no diluting the spirit of Versace in this look, her highness perfected her ode to 80s Versace in a cut-out chainmail dress and biker jacket accented with silver medusa’s.

Lewis Hamilton: Now, it was 24 degree today – warmer in the venue – and Lewis was wearing a wool coat, cashmere sweater and leather trousers – not too dissimilar from those he wears on the racetrack. As a fellow weather cautious Brit who also travelled to Milan in leather jacket, I won’t judge Lewis too harshly, but you won’t be surprised to learn that after this picture he was quick to ditch the coat. His assistant/stylist shared that she pulled the look as she wanted something unique that no one else would’ve been wearing, before we shared a joke that sometimes you just have to suffer for a short period for fashion. Good to know that men share this sentiment too.

Front Row @ Gucci Spring 2018

As we might expect, the front row at the Gucci Spring 2018 show on Wednesday (September 20) during Milan Fashion Week was awash in a head-turning mix of bold prints and bright patterns from the label.

Dakota Johnson:
Starting the front row off with a bang, Dakota easily had one of my favoured looks in this colourful, pleated dress. I love the retro-forward, geometric print and the alluringly artsy mix of hues. The dragon-embroidered bag wouldn’t have been my first choice, though, for this look as it seemed so disparate from the mod mood.

Salma Hayek: Salma’s dress stood out for its prominent lack of pattern. But, it still charmed with the modern-Victorian lace detail and girlie bow at the waist that was very much in keeping with the star’s style.

Li Yuchun/Chris Lee: Never one to do fashion by halves, the entertainer presented a full-on fashion experience here. The cape may have been ‘Blind for Love,’ but I for one, don’t know where to look first between the Gucci signature print T-shirt, intricately patterned skirt, knee socks, and booties—not to mention the ear muffs. This was a performance piece, if nothing else.

Front Row @ Michael Kors Spring 2018

The front row at the Michael Kors Spring 2018 show on Wednesday (September 13) during New York Fashion Week was teaming with ladies clad in the American designer.

Nicole Kidman: Fresh off the Toronto Film Festival red carpet, the actress showed off her statuesque beauty in a Michael Kors Collection Resort 2018 dress with an inky abstract floral print. White sandals kept the summer spirit alive.

Naomi Watts: Offering a bright counterpoint to Nicole’s dark blooms, Naomi radiated in a marigold Michael Kors Collection Resort 2018 dress. The bold florals and vivid colour make me feel as happy as the actress looks in this photo.

Catherine Zeta-Jones: There certainly isn’t anything basic about this Michael Kors Collection LBD from Pre-Fall 2017. The fluid draping was toughed up considerably with a supersized corset belt.

Emma Roberts In Coach & Rebecca Vallance – FROW @ Coach & Late Night With Seth Meyers

Emma Roberts has been a busy lady. First, she attended the Coach Spring 2018 show at New York Fashion Week on Tuesday (September 12). Later, she visited ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’ to discuss working on ‘American Horror Story: Cult’ and her Belletrist book club.

Coach Fashion Show: Appropriately, the actress wore Coach to sit front row. The feminine mustard gown was accented by a neck bow and a whimsical pattern. I would have objected to the sheer gown with black bodysuit had it not been for the black trim which helped unify the look. The kiss of red lipstick sealed the deal.

Late Night With Seth Meyers: Emma adhered to the autumnal colour palette for her ‘Late Night’ visit. Clad in a Rebecca Vallance cold-shoulder midi, she allowed the frock’s neckline to remain the focus with understated an Monica Vinader gold Signature bangle and Jennifer Meyer necklace. Resisting the urge to go completely minimalist, she donned Casadei ‘Techno Blade’ leopard print heels.

Front Row @ Calvin Klein 205W39NYC Spring 2018

The front row at the Calvin Klein 205W39NYC Spring 2018 show on Thursday (September 7) during New York Fashion Week featured no shortage of stars dressed in their Calvins—so to speak.

Lupita Nyong’o: While Lupita often opts for bold colours and patterns, here she wore a dressed-up variation on jeans and a tee with her white top and high-waisted denim. The turquoise chandelier earrings and deep-blue handbag brought her signature bold flair to elevate the look beyond the ordinary.

Kate Bosworth: Western-chic was clearly Kate’s mood. And, while this matching work shirt and jeans featured a heavy-handed embroidery, the pastel pink and white tonal hues ensured the ensemble maintained a lighter sensibility.

Millie Bobby Brown: The dress was darling and fresh; but I believe she slightly overindulged on the bronzer.

Front Row @ Tom Ford Spring 2018

Tom Ford returned to New York Fashion Week with his Spring 2018 show taking place in front of a celeb-packed front row yesterday (September 6).

Kim Kardashian: Forever the shy retiring type, the reality star wore a latex LaQuan Smith dress which I can only imagine took a team of people to help her get into it.

Russell Westbrook: The baller wore a shawl collar suit which I loved for its sharp dapper appeal, until I got to the length of the trousers.

Ansel Elgort: The ‘Baby Driver’ actor didn’t have any issues in the trouser leg department, but with that colourful shimmering Tom Ford jacket, my eyes were immediately fixed to the top part of his look anyhow.
