Michelle Williams In Chanel Couture – 2012 Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards

Michelle Williams accepted the ‘Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Documentary’ for ‘Project Nim’ on behalf of James Marsh at the 2012 Directors Guild Of America Awards in Hollywood, California this weekend.

She went back into the archives to select this Chanel Fall 2007 Couture gown.

The one-shoulder black gown with embellished details on the shoulder and along the bodice also reveals more embellishments via the thigh-high split.

The look is mesmerizing on the runway, but falls a bit flat on Michelle.

Maybe it was one of those ‘better in the flesh’ looks.

Amber Heard In Roland Mouret – 2012 Directors Guild Of America Awards

Amber Heard looked beautiful, as always, whilst gliding down the red carpet at the 2012 Directors Guild of America Awards in Hollywood, California yesterday evening.

The blonde beauty wore a Roland Mouret Grindley navy jersey dress with Cathy Waterman jewels.

Whilst the dress peeps, drapes, plunges and hugs in all the right places, it’s a tad sheer.

In some pictures you can see her underwear which is unfortunate.

Luscious locks and pretty pink lips completed her look.

Jennifer Aniston In Dolce & Gabbana – 2012 Annual Directors Guild Of America

Jennifer Aniston arrived on the red carpet for the 2012 Directors Guild Of America Awards in Hollywood, California on Saturday evening with boyfriend Justin Theroux.

The actress gave us no surprises wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012 strapless black dress.

Whilst this look sticks to Jennifer’s tried and trusted formula; LBD, glossy straight locks and black sandals, I have to admit that she does look really good.

The texture and embellishments on her dress, which she teams with her favourite Celine heels and a Ferragamo clutch, keeps me interested.

Does this look get a pass from you? Or are you o.v.e.r Jennifer in LBD’s?

2010 DGA Awards – Lea Michele In Herve L. Leroux

Lea Michele appears to be the official “Glee” representative.

The actress has graced the red carpet at nearly every high profile event over the past few weeks from the Grammy Awards to the DGA Awards this weekend.

The star looked breath-taking in this nude Herve L. Leroux gown.

It really gives her an amazing sleek silhouette, but I can’t help but think she would’ve look so much better in navy, forest green or even black.

I’m guessing she opted for a bright pop of red on her lips to prevent her seeming too washed out or one-tone.

I wanna fall head-over-heels in love with this look, but some thing’s holding me back.

Runway To DGA Awards – Carey Mulligan In Lanvin

If it’s not Prada it’s Lanvin.

Is Carey Mulligan’s style starting to become predictable?

At the “DGA Awards” this weekend Carey was spotted wearing one of her preferred designers on the red carpet.

Her Lanvin Spring 2010 pink one-sleeved dress was presented in black leather, which I’m glad she didn’t opt for.

The pretty dress was accented with a black stash tied to the waist, as she paired her dress with black strappy sandals and carried a black clutch.

I get a sense of de ja vu with this look, but I think that’s because there’s only so much Carey can do with her hair without looking childish by adding things like bows to it.
