Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kate Bosworth took to the red carpet for her “Another Happy Day” Deauville Film Festival photocall in France this afternoon.

The blonde beauty opted to wear a Chanel Resort 2012 mini dress.

Her white v-neck dress with an open back is covered with gorgeous pearl embellishments.

Sparkling accessories such as Louboutin peep-toes and JewelMint earrings complemented her dress.

Everything is sparkling expect Kate herself.

I almost feel like I’m looking at a mannequin because she’s isn’t breathing any life into this look.

Kate styled her hair into a tousled updo and finished her look with a pink lipshade.

Kate Bosworth also attended the 2011 Deauville Film Festival Opening Ceremony in France this evening.

The blonde actress wore a Valentino silk chiffon dress from the Fall 2011 collection.

Her luxurious dress is in a beautiful burgundy plum autumn shade which is a perfect red carpet colour as we are seeing the last few days of summer.

The elegant and stylish dress has silk chiffon sleeves, a fluid sablé skirt and a decorative belted waist with a signature Valentino bow

Kate accessorized with Valentino rosette-embellished, bow accented clutch and snake-skin Valentino ankle strap peep-toes.

Bronzed drop earrings and a low tied ponytail completed her look.

I was just about to post the BDOTW poll until I saw pictures from the 2011 Deauville Film Festival Opening Ceremony in France.

The first starlet to hit the red carpet was Emma Stone.

Our girl of the moment glided down the red carpet wearing a Roland Mouret Maxim textured-silk gown from the Fall 2011 collection.

Her on-trend mustard gown perfectly complements that rich fiery hair of hers.

I’m glad she kept the black obi belt to prevent this look from being one-note.

I also love the addition of her other black accessories which included an Alexander McQueen knuckle duster clutch and black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.

This look is chic, sophisticated and effortless. She can do no wrong.

America Ferrera gave us a good run of colour, but now she reverted back to black for the “Fair Game” Premiere during the 2010 Deauville Film Festival yesterday.

She may be wearing my least favourite red carpet colour, but she looks absolutely sensational.

Her black Malandrino dress with a tulip hem was teamed with a leather waistband and what appears to be a navy blue clutch.

As much as a pop of colour would’ve been welcome, I can’t find a single fault, not even with her black Brian Atwood pumps because she’s totally dazzled me.

The Deauville Film Festival is currently taking place in France.

America Ferrera is there to promote her new movie “The Dry Land”.

At the photocall she continued to shun black by wearing a navy blue Black Halo dress.

Her dress wouldn’t look out of place on the final season of “Ugly Betty” in which Betty has a chic make-over.

Her cap sleeved belted dress was worn with gold Brian Atwood pumps.

I love the silhouette of this dress, despite its secretarial feel.

The Deauville American Film Festival started this weekend, and the first major star to walk the red carpet was Rachel McAdams.

Rachel wore a Stella McCartney Resort 2010 dress, which has been shortened from the gown version presented.

Rachel could have worked either look on the runway and still looked fabulous.

Her cute short sassy look was paired with black peep-toes and a bold pink lip colour on the windy evening.

A lot of people seem to think that Rachel is wearing the same jacket Rumer Willis wore just last week.

I disagree. Rumer is actually wearing a jacket to Rachel’s dress.

Rumer’s jacket has a deep plunge and padded shoulders, to Rachel’s dress with an nude illusion panel on the front.

The only similarities for me is the lace, long sleeves and the designer.

I love premiere look, but I wasn’t so crazy about the other Stella McCartney Resort 2010 blue striped dress Rachel wore to the photocall.

The dress needed the belt or any belt to give it some shape, plus I would’ve preferred a daintier heel.

You many remember Diane Kruger wore the a tulip skirt in this same striped blue material recently.
