Octavia Spencer In Tadashi Shoji – 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards

Octavia Spencer clutches on to her award for ‘Best Supporting Actress’ for her role in ‘The Help’ at the 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards this evening.

The actress went the LBD route wearing a Tadashi Shohi Spring 2012 v-neck black draped jersey dress with a jewel detail at the waist.

She accessorized with a Swarovski black satin and crystal clutch.

The actress proves once again that she knows how to dress for her body type in this figure-flattering dress.

A shorter-hemmed dress is perfect for this more casual awards ceremony.

Chandelier earrings and a tousled up-do add an elegant touch to her look.

Tadashi Shoji has a knack of dressing winners.

Tilda Swinton In YSL – 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards

If you are tired of all the summery dress on the red carpet at the 2012 Critics Choice Awards, Tilda Swinton will cleanse your palette.

The British actress donned a typically androgynous menswear-inspired look.

Chic minimalism was clearly what she was going for with this YSL Edition Soir 2012 three-piece black and white look which consisted of a sheer blouse, two-tone tuxedo jacket and white wide-legged pants with an embroidered cummerbund.

A Pomellato ‘Victoria’ rose gold and white opal ring, black patent YSL platform heels and a slicked back hairstyle completed her look.

Ellie Kemper In Alberta Ferretti – 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards

Ellie Kemper hit the 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards red carpet wearing all black at the star studded event in L.A. this evening.

The ‘Bridesmaids’ actress opted for a sexy Alberta Ferretti Spring 2012 dress.

Her embroidered dress with chiffon hemline has a flirty flamenco feel to it.

A gold-adorned Swarovski clutch and BaubleBar triple shape drop earrings added some glamour to her look whilst she opted for soft curls and smoky eye makeup.

Chloe Moretz In Chanel – 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards

Following yesterday’s People Choice Awards, Chloe Moretz also attended the 2012 Critic’s Choice Awards.

The young actress tried an edgier, mature style by selecting this black Chanel Fall 2012 dress with tulle frilled sleeves.

Unfortunately, the Chanel frock appears to be wearing her and it feels a tad costumey.

Chloe seems a bit too petite for the heavily accentuated top, the only thing that save this look are her Rupert Sanderson ‘Flamante’ sandals.

Neutral makeup and side parted hair complete the look.

Viola Davis In Raoul – 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards

Viola Davis showcases a new ‘do on the red carpet at the 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards in L.A. this evening.

The actress, who won Best Actress for her role in ‘The Help’, looked stunning as always wearing a Raoul Pre-Fall 2012 dress.

Raoul appears to be Viola’s go-to designer as this is the third time she’s worn a look by the designer.

This is also the second time in a row the that Viola has worn red. Maybe it will become her lucky colour.

The plunging neckline shows off a lot more skin than we are used to seeing from Viola, but it’s the striking colour that’s really gaining my attention.

Her easy breezy, revealing dress was teamed with champagne and white diamond Bochic tassel earrings, kohl rimmed eyes and a bronze clutch.

‘The Artist’ actress wore a lapis blue sleeveless beaded v-neck Elie Saab Spring 2012 dress.

Her Edie Parker blue confetti “Jean” clutch matched her dress perfectly.

Elie Saab’s Spring 2012 has been a hit on the red carpet, and this is not an exception.

Berenice looks gorgeous in this blue number and she didn’t overwhelm the look with too many accessories.

Gold Jimmy Choo ‘Private’ sandals and Chopard jewels completed the look.

Emma Stone In Jason Wu – 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards

Emma Stone didn’t disappoint on the red carpet at the 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards this evening.

Emma wore a green and navy tree-print Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012 gown with a handkerchief hem and teardrop neckline cut-outs.

This is already the second Jason Wu Pre-Fall look we’ve seen on the red carpet, after Zoe Saldana’s appearance at a Golden Globes kickoff party earlier in the week.

After last night’s underwhelming showing at the People’s Choice Awards, it’s great to see Emma back in prime form.

The colour combo looks perfect against the actress’ pale skin and red hair because we all know how Red Hair + Green Gown = Red Carpet Perfection.

Smoky eye makeup and a soft up-do completed the look.
