Rosamund Pike In Valentino Couture – 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Rosamund Pike In Valentino Couture - 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Rosamund Pike attended the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

Many of you regarded her Vera Wang Golden Globes gown as the worst of the night, so how does this Valentino Haute Couture dress from the Sala Bianca 945 collection fare?

I would say this ivory high-neck gown with its ethereal embroidered sheer skirt is much more in tune with her sweet-natured style, with an intelligent balance of elegance and whimsy.

Keeping the styling minimal, she opted for a simple bun and Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals.

Felicity Jones In Dolce & Gabbana - 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Felicity Jones attended the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Theory of Everything’ actress went back to black wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2015 tulle gown with delicate embroidery, which fails to excite.

Mostly because it feels too mature for her (methinks even Helen Mirren would veto this) and secondly because it’s so expected.

Coming off the big bang she made at the Globes, this pales in comparison.

Felicity’s makeup is lovely, but I have no words for the hair.

Rosario Dawson attended the 20th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a midnight-blue Vivienne Westwood Collection silk crepe one-shoulder gown styled with matching Casadei ‘Blade’ pumps and Irene Neuwirth jewels.

Call me crazy, considering Rosario has more misses than hits, but this feels too safe for the actress.

I kinda like that she often takes risk. This is way too mute, as lovely as it is.

Carmen Ejogo attended the 20th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress looked gorgeous wearing an Emilia Wickstead coral hued gown with oversized patch pockets we saw in the Spring 2015 collection.

At first I was on the fence regarding her matte red lip, but on reflexion a lighter hue could’ve washed her out.

A gold bracelet and bronzed clutch rounded out this graceful look.

Genesis Rodriguez In Reem Acra - 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Genesis Rodriguez attended the 20th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Big Hero 6′ actress glided down the red carpet wearing a Reem Acra Spring 2015 pastel blue strapless gown featuring slit and various cut-out details at the bodice.

It’s a bold and sexy choice, which some might deem as a little risqué, but I think she looks gorgeous from head to toe. Yes the sex appeal is apparent, but doesn’t feel like it’s smacking you in the face à la Jennifer Lopez.

On a red carpet full of heavy hitters one most do something to stand out and didn’t she just do that with plenty of grace.

Jamie Chung In Yanina Couture – 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Jamie Chung In Yanina Couture - 2015 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Jamie Chung attended the 20th annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

The actress wore a Yanina Couture black sheer chiffon tea-length dress styled with a Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’ clutch and black pumps.

I’m feel slightly underwhelmed as Jamie usually brings it on the red carpet. This falls flat for me.

The styling is on point but when it comes to the dress I wish the underlay didn’t stop short.
