Jessica Chastain In Antonio Berardi – 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Jessica Chastain In Antonio Berardi - 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Jessica Chastain attended the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California, where she picked up the Critics’ Choice MVP Award having starred in four great movies, ‘A Most Violent Year’, ‘The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby’, ‘Interstellar’, and ‘Miss Julie’, which is why I always call her the hardest-working actress in Hollywood.

The actress wore a white form-fitting cheongsam-inspired Antonio Berardi Spring 2015 gown decked out with a multitude of colourful beads enriching the bodice.

The cut-out gives the look an edge as does her slicked-back do and hot-pink fuchsia lip.

For those commenting on their fatigue with samey sweet fit-and-flare frocks, this should set your senses alight.

Andrea Riseborough In Escada – 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Andrea Riseborough In Escada - 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Andrea Riseborough made a return to the red carpet for the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

The British actress opted not to wear a predictable gown, instead donning a jade-green suit from Escada’s Fall 2014 collection.

Embodying a masculine profile that is deceptively minimalistic but meticulously constructed, I love how she styled the look with feminine touches such as the rich red lip and wavy tresses.

Nude Casadei ‘Tulip’ sandals and a Zagliani ‘Faye’ blush clutch accessorized her look.

Leslie Mann In Reem Acra – 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Leslie Mann In Reem Acra - 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Leslie Mann attended the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

Following the Golden Globes, this Reem Acra Spring 2015 dress was yet another great look from the in-form actress.

Opting not to go for one of the more revealing looks from this collection, the actress wore a strapless silver dress with sheer and sequin panels.

This is such a beautiful dress with all the right elements to make a splash on this red carpet, but it’s the styling that takes this look into another dimension.

Those of you bored of the ‘Nudists’, ‘Lances’ and ‘So Kates’ will be thankful for her decision to opt for these Burak Uyan multicolour strappy sandals, which give her look an edge.

The rest of her accessories included a silver Jimmy Choo ‘Mini Charm’ clutch and Irene Neuwirth earrings.

Rosamund Pike In Valentino Couture – 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Rosamund Pike In Valentino Couture - 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Rosamund Pike attended the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

Many of you regarded her Vera Wang Golden Globes gown as the worst of the night, so how does this Valentino Haute Couture dress from the Sala Bianca 945 collection fare?

I would say this ivory high-neck gown with its ethereal embroidered sheer skirt is much more in tune with her sweet-natured style, with an intelligent balance of elegance and whimsy.

Keeping the styling minimal, she opted for a simple bun and Jimmy Choo ‘Minny’ sandals.

Felicity Jones In Dolce & Gabbana – 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Felicity Jones In Dolce & Gabbana - 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards

Felicity Jones attended the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.

The ‘Theory of Everything’ actress went back to black wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2015 tulle gown with delicate embroidery, which fails to excite.

Mostly because it feels too mature for her (methinks even Helen Mirren would veto this) and secondly because it’s so expected.

Coming off the big bang she made at the Globes, this pales in comparison.

Felicity’s makeup is lovely, but I have no words for the hair.
