Aisha Tyler In Tadashi Shoji - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Aisha Tyler took to the red carpet before her hosting duties of the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica.

She looked lovely wearing a black-and-nude long-sleeve beaded Tadashi Shoji Fall 2013 gown style with rose-gold drop earrings, a black clutch, and a matte red lip colour.

This charming gown is a very flattering look for Aisha, with the pop of colour elevating the look.

Camila Alves In Paule Ka - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves attended the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica.

As always, they balance out each other’s hotness, but on this occasion, she didn’t wear the same brand as they did at the Globes.

Matthew McConaughey: Putting the sunglasses to one side, the actor looked incredibly handsome wearing a Lanvin silver silk textured houndstooth tuxedo with black satin peak lapels styled with black silk pants, a white tuxedo shirt which he accessorized with a black silk ‘Bristol’ bow tie, silver ‘Sartorial’ cufflinks and Christian Louboutin ‘New Orleans’ black patent leather and tissue moire lace up dress flats.

Camila Alves: Even though she dialled down the va va voom, she still looked hot wearing a red sleeveless Paule Ka Spring 2014 Black Carpet collection gown featuring a knot detail at the waist which she styled with matching Oscar Tiye ‘Malikah’ sandals and Martin Katz diamond stud earrings. A sleek knotted ponytail with a central parting completed her effortless look.

Julia Roberts In Juan Carlos Obando - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Julia Roberts attended the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica.

I’ve never been a fan of sunglasses on the red carpet, but on this occasion, my biggest objection is her Juan Carlos Obando gown.

Julia had been on such a great roll lately, finally regaining her red carpet mojo, so this is disappointing.

Even though most of you disliked her Dolce & Gabbana Golden Globes gown, I kind of liked it; this, I don’t like.

All in all, it’s too frumpy, not flattering, and way too long.

A black Barbara Bui python baguette clutch from the Spring 2014 rounded out this disastrous look.

Juliette Lewis In Zac Posen - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Juliette Lewis attended the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica.

The actress wore a red Zac Posen gown featuring a deep v-neckline and padded shoulders which she styled with Rupert Sanderson shoes, a Brian Atwood animal print clutch, and Coomi jewels.

Zac Posen is a designer Juliette has worn the most since her red carpet revival.

With breathtaking results like this, it’s no wonder Posen is her go-to designer.

Wavy tresses and a complementary red lip rounded out her look.

Jessica Chastain In Nina Ricci - 2014 Critics' Choice Movie Awards

Jessica Chastain enjoyed another night out on the red carpet at the 19th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 16) in Santa Monica.

The actress looked divine wearing a romantic Nina Ricci Pre-Fall 2014 cypress green silk crepe gown with a lace yoke back which featured light ruffles.

Balancing feminine fancy with grown-up gumption, she completed the look with a part-braided do and orange lip shade.

Red heads and green gowns are always a winning combination for me. Does it work for you on this occasion?
