Mary Elizabeth Winstead In Delpozo – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

While some were going for a more casual approach at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California, my girl Mary Elizabeth Winstead was serving up pure fantasy.

From the statement sleeve, tri-colours, floor-sweeping length to the flower corsage, this frothy tulle gown from Delpozo’s Spring 2018 collection is a contemporary iteration of a fairytale masterpiece.

An Anya Hindmarch ‘Custard Cream’ clutch and Irene Neuwirth jewels completed what was easily one of the best looks of the night – stunning from every angle.

Diane Kruger In Vera Wang – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

Diane Kruger picked up Best Foreign Language Film for ‘In the Fade’ at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California.

The German actress wore a Vera Wang Collection Spring 2018 ivory silk crepe tiered gown styled with Messika jewels, Christian Louboutin ‘ Glennalta’ sandals and a Tyler Ellis clutch.

I love how the silver chainmail bodice and structured bustier gives this look a fashion forward edge, while still feeling light and ultra feminine.

The overall vibe is laidback high glamour, however, I feel some might take exception to the draped sleeves.

Jessica Biel In Oscar de la Renta – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

Jessica Biel took my breath away at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California.

I feel like I’ve waited a lifetime to fall back in love with Jessica’s style again, and it’s a place I’m very excited to be.

Observing her Dior Couture gown at the Globes, and this Oscar de la Renta Spring 2018 dress, it’s safe to say she’s riding a rich vein of impressive form at the moment.

Her love for fashion appears to be back, with this dress demonstrating that she’s not afraid to take a risk wearing a black tulle dress with ruby and black bonded laser-cut leather accents on top of a collage print lace-up swimsuit.

Styled with a red Tyler Ellis clutch and Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ sandals, are you loving this look as much as I am?

Madeline Brewer In Elizabeth Kennedy – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

Madeline Brewer was one of the lovely ladies in attendance at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California, alongside Alexis Bledel and Zoe Kazan.

The ‘Orange is the New Black’ actress made a dazzling statement in an Elizabeth Kennedy Spring 2017 gown.

A silhouette like this may be classic, but it’s the unexpected colour combination that made it feel au courant.

The shimmering rose gold skirt lit up the red carpet and played off her hair colour.

The icy blue bodice was a surprising juxtaposition, but now that I’ve seen it with the skirt, I am a fan.

Finishing the look off, was the deep red velvet belt and Irene Neuwirth jewels.

Haley Bennett In Chloe – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

Haley Bennett, who’s the face of Chloe’s signature fragrance campaign, wore a look from the brands Spring 2018 collection to the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California.

If you anything like me your eyes fell straight to the bag and then the ‘River’ wedges, before I even considering the dress.

The dress is pretty enough for the laidback occasion, but the bag sticks out like a sore thumb. It totally overpowers the look and feels terribly out of place.

Jaimie Alexander In Georges Chakra Couture – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

Jaimie Alexander isn’t afraid to make a bold statement on the red carpet. She turned heads again at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California.

The ‘Blindspot’ actress was clad in a Georges Chakra Fall 2017 Couture dress.

You might be doing a double take as she styled the gown almost identically to the runway version, selecting ankle-strap Chloe Gosselin platform shoes, Sylva & Cie jewelry and a voluminous updo.

I’m not going to hold it against her because the accessories work. The feather-decorated high-low hem needed a weighty shoe to balance it out.

It’s a lot of look, but she succeeded in carrying it off. It appears almost effortless.

Kiernan Shipka In Delpozo – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

Kiernan Shipka was back on the red carpet for the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California, and I’m delighted to see she brought her favourite brand Delpozo with her too.

Loved by those in-the-know for their enticing designs and ultra-flattering silhouettes, Delpozo has always been every fashion-lover’s favourite, and this look is a great example why.

Kiernan’s green and pink tulle embroidered top with white and blue jacquard skinny trousers hailing from the Spring 2018 collection has everything.

It’s ethereal, feminine, smart, youthful, chic, fashion forward and sweet without being too cutesy.

With looks like this, I don’t ever want Kiernan to grow up.
