Here’s a quick roundup of the men who took to the red carpet for the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.
Eddie Redmayne: Giving just that little bit extra, which always sees him standing above his peers, the actor opted for a sharp Valentino shawl-collar tuxedo in his favoured slim-fit silhouette.
Jared Leto: Following the Globes, I was worried he had lost his mojo, but here he’s bursting with flavour. Standing out wearing a bright blue Costume National blazer accented with a pink carnation, you have to admire his courage in always doing something different. Thankfully opting for black trousers instead of going full blue, he did match his blazer to his sock with an extra kick coming from his Swarovski-embellished Louis Leeman loafers. On this occasion he swapped his man-braid for a man-bun.
Ethan Hawke: Yet to wear a black suit this awards season, the ‘Boyhood’ actor also stood out, donning a Lanvin light grey suit with black velvet piping. These top three will most definitely keep menswear interesting this awards season.
Jenny Slate attended the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California, where picked up the Best Actress in a Comedy award for her role in ‘Obvious Child’.
The actress wore a midnight-blue Miu Miu satin dress with the brands favoured jet beads and Swarovski crystals framing the plunging neckline and a blue and black belt nipping her in at the waist.
As you know I am particularly critical when it comes to Prada/Miu Miu red carpet pieces, and on this occasion you will get no complaints from me.
The look is stylish and elegant especially when styled with her Miu Miu ‘Vernice’ sandals and wavy updo.
Marion Cotillard was breathtaking on the red carpet for the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.
Dressed in Dior Couture, of course, she was an absolute vision in white, wearing a jacquard silk Fall 2014 Couture gown fitted through the waist before flaring out into a voluminous skirt.
I’m sure comparison will be made to Jennifer Lawrence’s 2013 Oscar gown as they possess the same silhouette and fabrication, but I love the edge Marion gave to this look with her fuchsia lip and slicked-back hair with Chopard jewels rounding out her look.
Was this too similar to Jennifer’s gown for you?

Amy Adams attended the 2015 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (January 15) in Los Angeles, California.
The face of Max Mara wore a custom piece from the Italian brand, donning a semi-matte ivory silk duchesse bustier dress, which she styled with sparkling Kurt Geiger London ‘Beverly’ sandals.
When it comes to awards season you can always rely on Amy, but unfortunately this look falls flat – way too flat.
For a custom piece the fit is surprisingly off and the black panel feels like a last ditch attempt to try to make this piece interesting – it failed.
The styling is bringing me out in hives and the hair feels juvenile.
We all have our off days, but it’s painful when it happens to one of the best.
