Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Kate Bosworth and her stylist worked together on her looks for the Coachella Music Festival which took place in California this weekend.

We’ve already seen what she wore to the Mulberry ‘Firepit’ party and Mulberry’s pool party. Here are the rest of her looks.

Doing her best to look as effortless as Kate Moss, the actress was spotted on Friday with boyfriend Michael Polish wearing a printed Vanessa Bruno mini dress with a military green jacket which she borrowed from her beau.

As the weather was none too pleasant on Friday, she also added dark green Hunter Wellington rain boots to her look.

On Saturday, the weather had cleared up for her to don denim shorts with a simple black tee.

An Isabel Marant Fall 2012 cowgirl shirt was layered over the look.

The colour-block shirt stands out for its embroidered yoke and slip pockets at the bust.

Like Diane Kruger, she also sported Isabel Marant ‘Dicker’ boots, which continue to be the celebrities’ favourite ‘off-duty’ footwear of choice.

Dree Hemingway certainly got into the festival spirit at Mulberry’s BBQ Pool party during Coachella on Saturday afternoon.

The model wore a Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012 ensemble.

A chilli-print bustier top with decorative flower crystal buttons was paired with a matching chilli-print full skirt.

The look was accented with a chocolate-brown leather belt, as sported on the runway, plus Dree added a rose embroidered crossbody bag, platform sandals and statement bracelets.

I love the red hot lips to go with her spicy look, but the platforms look clunky, awkward and uncomfortable.

Many stars attended the Coachella Music Festival this weekend including Diane Kruger.

We all know that Diane has impeccable taste on the red carpet, but how does she fare in the desert?

On Saturday the German actress wore a Lacoste Spring 2012 colour-block dress to the Lacost L!ve desert pool party.

Looking as gorgeous as ever, even with wind-swept tresses, Diane had festival chic down by styling her dress with the festival staples: a crossbody bag and Isabel Marant ‘Dicker’ boots.

Pink lippie completed her look.

On Sunday, a makeup-free Diane and Joshua Jackson were pictured enjoying the festival wearing stripy looks.

Joshua was in grey-and-red, whilst his girl wore a blue-and-white striped Stella McCartney palm-print dress with the same accessories from the previous day.

An Acne cardigan and a side-swept braid completed her look.

Mulberry threw another party during Coachella; this time it was poolside at the Parker Palm Springs Hotel to celebrate the Fall 2012 collection despite the sunny climes.

Kate Bosworth: Never one to miss a Mulberry party, the actress was front and centre again wearing a full Mulberry Fall 2012 look. Keeping the same black high-top sneakers and ‘Lily’ shoulder bag from the previous event, Kate wore a fuzzy tight print tee with black studded shorts. Shades and a pop of colour via her pink lip colour and aqua fish-shaped earrings completed her look.

Emma Watson: The former ‘Harry Potter’ star wore a Mulberry Fall 2012 fuzzy tiger-print playsuit which I would’ve loved to have seen without the black cardigan. Emma’s accessories included beige Joie ‘Leo’ strippy flat sandals, a brown felt hat, a gold detailed black belt and of course the obligatory Mulberry bag, which was a tan ‘Lily’ shoulder bag in oak with tassels.

Lily Collins: The ‘Mirror Mirror’ actress was the only one who embraced the season and the soaring temperatures in Palm Springs, as she wore a summery look from the Mulberry Spring 2012 collection. Her ¾-length-sleeve stripy dress was teamed with a Mulberry ‘Lily’ shoulder bag in dark navy and Mulberry bow-front beige flats.

Last year’s event was a lot more colourful and season appropriate.

On Friday, Mulberry threw a ‘Firepit’ Party to celebrate the start of the Coachella Music Festival.

The party, held in the garden of the private Gene Autry House in Palm Springs, was attended by many stars, some of whom opted to wear Mulberry’s Spring and Fall 2012 collections.

Kate Bosworth: The actress, a long-time devotee to Mulberry, selected a print dress which she wore under a cropped black jacket. She of course included Mulberry accessories with her look. They included Mulberry high-top black sneakers and a Mulberry mini ‘Lily’ blue suede shoulder bag with gold studded details. JewelMint jewelry and a glossy strawberry lip colour completed her look. Normally Kate’s shabby chic works for me, but not on this occasion. Maybe its the awkward pose which is putting me off.

Lily Collins: The young actress wore a Mulberry pebbled beige boucle windbreaker from the Spring 2012 collection. Only her dark-wash turned-up jeans weren’t by Mulberry, as she donned a Mulberry ‘Bonkers’ print scarf, woven sandals and carried the same ‘Lily’ bag as Kate from the Spring 2012 collection.

Sky Ferreira: The platinum-blonde actress did her own thing, but sporting a double denim look with a sheer blouse and black biker boots.

Coachella kicks off the festival season this weekend in Indio, California with music lovers and celebrities sunning themselves under the desert skies with a beer in one hand and friendship bracelets on the other whilst singing along to Radiohead, Azealia Banks and the Arctic Monkeys to name a few.

Last year, Dita von Teese gave us high-end festival chic looks wearing Dior and Moschino Cheap and Chic.

Alessandra Ambrosio did luxe boho in Rebecca Taylor.

Vanessa Hudgens gave us part boho, part Navajo in a variety of looks and Kate Bosworth was effortlessly chic in Topshop, channelling Americana with Parisian flare via her Isabel Marant wedges.

Fail-safe looks that guarantee rock chick edge that will take you from the stage set to pool parties in style include denim shorts, vest tops, crop tops, wedges, gladiator sandals, ethnic jewellery, a crossbody bag, a bikini and a chic straw fedora.

Mulberry, A|X Armani Exchange, Lacoste and H&M are hosting events during the weekend, so we can expect to see many celebs toting Mulberry bags and wearing the other brands mentioned.
