2010 CMT Music Awards – Hayden Panettiere In Emilio Pucci

Unofficial Pucci Brand Ambassador Award
Has anyone else noticed that Hayden Panettiere seems to be wearing a lot of Emilio Pucci lately?

The blonde star opted for another Pucci look at the 2010 CMT Music Awards last night.

On the runway the satin and lace lingerie-inspired dress is spectacular, but Hayden doesn’t quite carry it off.

This is a huge shame because the colour is gorgeous on her.

I’m not sure if she’s not quite feeling the dress, or her pose is too awkward and stiff but this look isn’t working for me.

2010 CMT Music Awards – Kelly Pickler In Zuhair Murad

Worst Dressed Award
Kellie Pickler was my least favourite on the red carpet at the 2010 CMT Music Awards in Nashville last night

The Zuhair Murad Spring 2010 collection wasn’t one of my favourites.

I find this black and gold embroidered Zuhair Murad Spring 2010 dress to incredibly unflattering on Kellie, plus she over accessorizes with that fringed cuff and large statement necklace.

I also think her Christian Louboutin Crepe-de-chine heels are too fussy when so much is going on already.

2010 CMT Music Awards – Carrie Underwood In Jenny Packham

Best Use Of Colour Award
Carrie Underwood brightened up the red carpet at the 2010 CMT Music Awards last night.

The former “American Idol” winner won Wednesday night’s top honor, video of the year for “Cowboy Casanova,” and CMT performance of the year for “Temporary Home”. Both awards are chosen by fans tuned into the live show.

The country singer is becoming less predictable on the red carpet, which I’m sure many of you will appreciate.

Her fuchsia pink Jenny Packham Fall 2010 dress is not what I would’ve expected from her, but it’s been a while since she did the embellished gown look on the red carpet.

This stand out keyhole dress has a black crystal beading detail on the waist and along the ruffled collar.

As much as I like the dress and the colour, the beaded the neckline is not my favourite part of this dress.

The star completed her look with a Jenny Packham clutch and Swarovski jewels.

Runway To The CMT Music Awards Stage – Taylor Swift In Rachel Gilbert

Taylor Swift was the big winner the CMT Music Awards, walking away for the second consecutive year the evening’s top honours: Video of the Year Award, and Female Video of the Year.

Taylor joins Keith Urban and Toby Keith as the only three artists to win twice for Video of the Year.

Taylor closed the show by joining the UK’s premier arena rock band, Def Leppard, for an electrifying rendition of “Pour Some Sugar On Me.”

The young star danced around the stage wearing a black Rachel Gilbert three-tier fringed tank dress with bead and sequin embellished neckline.

Her trademark curly hair and black knee-high boots completed the look.

A purple version of her stunning dress is available from Net-A-Porter international for £355/€435.66.

Runway To The CMT Music Awards Stage – Kellie Pickler In Zuhair Murad

Whilst I’m still bewildered at Kellie Pickler’s red carpet Badgley Mischka brown gown, she managed to redeem herself by wearing a Zuhair Murad Spring 2009 Couture dress when she performed at the CMT Music Award show.

The finalist on the fifth season of American Idol wore a sexy strapless silver paillette beaded dress to dazzled the crowds, as sung her hit single “Best Days of Your Life”.

Her blonde wavy hair and Christian Louboutin Differa silver sandals completed the much improved look.
