Salma Hayek In Bottega Veneta – CinemaCon 2017

Salma Hayek was one of the many stars at CinemaCon 2017, attending both ‘The Hitman’s Bodyguard’ screening and The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards yesterday (March 30) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The actress wore two Bottega Veneta looks which were appropriate enough for both events, however, more times than not, I just don’t get Salma’s style.

There doesn’t seem to be any consistency, often going from bad to worse – especially in the current Gucci collections.

We all know she’s limited to a number of brands, and this could be a stifling factor – but if Louis Vuitton can make custom looks for Alicia Vikander, Jennifer Connelly and Michelle Williams for each of their red carpet outings, then why can’t this be the case for the First Lady of the Kering Group?

Sofia Boutella In Valentino – The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards

Sofia Boutella was named the Female Star of Tomorrow at the CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards on Thursday (March 30) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Just when I thought Sofia was going to be an exclusive Chanel girl, she switches gears in Valentino.

Sadly this wasn’t a look I couldn’t get excited about.

While I love the intensity of the glittering embellishments, the sheerness and the ineffective short layer threw me off.

Had she added some boots to bring about a more nonchalant vibe I could’ve been swayed, but as its presented, it’s a big no from me.

Naomi Watts In Miu Miu – The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards

Naomi Watts picked up the Distinguished Decade of Achievement in Film Award at the CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards on Thursday (March 30) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While I feel she carries off the refinement of this Miu Miu lace accented dress very well, the embellished neckline ruins what could’ve been a picture-perfect look.

I find the neckline too gaudy with this soft frock.

Additional Monique Péan and Eva Fehren jewels completed her look.

Jessica Chastain In Zuhair Murad – The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards

Jessica Chastain was the recipient of the Female Star of the Year Award at the CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards on Thursday (March 30) in Las Vegas, Nevada, but did she finally wear a look during this event that you liked?

Her tropical flora embroidered Zuhair Murad Resort 2017 net dress is the most vibrant look we’ve seen from her yet.

The nude lining is tastefully done, the red lip is complimentary with the barely-there construction of the strappy sandals effortlessly rounding out the look.

What’s not to love? Right?

Isabela Moner In Reem Acra – The CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards

During the CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards on Thursday (March 30) in Las Vegas, Nevada, Isabela Moner was named the ‘Rising Star of the Year’.

Actress/singer wore an embellished Reem Acra Spring 2017 frock.

Some may think the stand collar is a bit stiff, but I feel the overall look including the L.K. Bennett Mary Janes is of a fun, playful nature.

Sofia Boutella In Chanel – CinemaCon 2017

French-Algerian star Sofia Boutella has also been at CinemaCon 2017, making an appearance on Wednesday (March 29) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The actress, who has a role in the upcoming Tom Cruise film, ‘The Mummy,’ merged two looks from the Chanel Pre-Fall 2017 collection.

The feminine romance of the frilly white lace, poet-sleeve blouse was toughened up with the edge of the leather trousers.

Cascading, wavy locks were a pretty finish to the ensemble, which she ultimately made work for her.

Would you have preferred the original black pants as opposed to the leather look?
