Anna Wintour In Marc Jacobs – CFDA/Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists

Anna Wintour In Marc Jacobs - CFDA Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists

Anna Wintour and CFDA CEO Steven Kolb attended the CFDA and Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists celebration held at Spring Studios in New York City yesterday evening.

The editor-in-chief of American Vogue gave us both a different style of dress, which was not by her usual choice of designer, and a new pair of shoes.

Let’s start with the dress. She donned a tri-colour Marc Jacobs Spring print dress featuring black embroidery down the sides and black short sleeves.

Usually a dress is modified to fit her above-the-knee sheath-dress standard, but she appears to have snagged this off the runway as is.

Next we have to marvel at the shoes. Last time out she opted for a different pair of kitten heels to her beloved Manolo Blahniks. Here we are seeing a black strappy pair which perfectly complements her look.

Is Anna switching up her look? Only time will tell.

Changing her style of dress and shoes is one thing; however, you will need to pick me off the floor if she ever changes that hair style.

Ciara In Calvin Klein Collection – CFDA/Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists

Ciara In Calvin Klein Collection - CFDA Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists

Ciara attended the CFDA and Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists celebration held at Spring Studios in New York City yesterday evening.

As always, she has a knack of making everything she wears look uber cool.

She wore a Calvin Klein Collection Spring 2014 look consisting of a Unique vest featuring a high round neck and asymmetric folded peplum waist, with a collarless jacket slung over her shoulders.
I will have to dock her several cool points, however, for the trousers. As a fellow tall gal like Ciara, it is always a delight (relief) to find long trousers, but in this case they are way too long.

Not only are her cargo-style construction trousers with exaggerated cuffs dragging on the floor, they are also creating unsightly folds on the trouser leg.

Jennifer Fisher jewelry completed her look.

Julianne Moore In Tom Ford – CFDA/Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists

Julianne Moore In Tom Ford - CFDA And Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists

Julianne Moore attended the CFDA and Vogue 2013 Fashion Fund Finalists celebration held at Spring Studios in New York City yesterday evening.

On paper perhaps the Moore/Ford relationship shouldn’t work, but once again she knocked it out of the fashion ballpark with this Tom Ford Spring 2014 bedazzled red embellished number with a high neckline, long sleeves and black trims.

Tom always manages to bring Julianne out of her comfort zone and push her fashion boundaries.

I would never have considered this frock for the red-haired actress, but she surprised me by carrying the look off with ease, with the bondage shoes adding yet more sexy appeal.

Lily Collins In Altuzarra – Vogue CFDA Fashion Fund Event & Dinner

Lily Collins In Altuzarra - Vogue CFDA Fashion Fund Event & Dinner

Like Lena Dunham, Lily Collins wore the same designer while attended both the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund event and dinner party.

Day look: For her day look, Lily donned an Altuzarra Spring 2014 ‘Chika’ boro printed blouse and a ‘Pagoda’ white silk-and-cupro draped skirt which she styled with a snake skin harlequin clutch and glossy lips. I’m dying to know which shoes she wore with this look.

Evening look: For her dinner party look, things turned a shade darker with the actress opting for smoky eyes wearing an Altuzarra ‘Odeon’ black blazer with ruffle details on the shoulders from the Resort 2014 collection, styled with their ‘Jodie’ crepe skirt with sheer panel and zipper accent from the Fall 2013 collection. Carrying the same clutch from earlier in the day, she completed her look with black satin sliced mules from Altuzarra’s Spring 2014.

That’s a lot of brand love.

Which look do you prefer?

Even without seeing the shoe, the first one wins for me. It’s more youthful plus I am not a fan of the length of the skirt on the second look.
