Cody Horn In Michael Kors – CFDA Fashion Awards

Cody Horn was the guest of Michael Kors for this evening’s 2013 CFDA Fashion Awards, held at the Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in New York City.

The ‘Magic Mike’ actress wore the finale look from Michael Kors’ Fall 2013 collection with silver Manolo Blahnik sandals.

Her crystallized gown with a black peplum train was one of the highlights of the night.

Many of you dislike a similar style dress Kerry Washington wore to the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, so I am keen to hear your thoughts on this look.

The only thing I would’ve toned down with this look is the extreme heavy black eyes.

Alexa Chung In Thakoon – 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

Alexa Chung joined a host of celebs who walked the red carpet at Center 548 last night for the 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in New York City.

Once again I find myself liking an Alexa Chung look – I must be coming down with something.

Like Cody Horn, Alexa also selected a look from the Thakoon Spring 2013 collection.

She wore a light blue floral knit pullover with a white chiffon layered shirt dress featuring clear paillettes which covered the skirt.

I think what I like most about this look, apart from the effort she made on styling her hair, are the pops of red via her lips and Tabitha Simmons ‘Ruby’ bow-accented ankle strap heels.

A Louis Vuitton clutch completed her look.

Liv Tyler In Proenza Schouler – 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

Liv Tyler attended the 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards held at Center 548 in New York City last night.

She wore a look by one of her favourite designers, Proenza Schouler.

The Spring 2013 look featured a chiffon printed blouse and a flared skirt, which appears to be the commercial version of the runway look; it has an asymmetrical button detailing and lace inserts.

Liv styled her look with all black accessories from the same collection including lizard peep-toes and the PS13 clutch, keeping the look simple with a bun and neutral makeup.

Christina Ricci In Richard Chai Love – 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

Christina Ricci attended the 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards held at Center 548 in New York City last night.

The petite star wore a Richard Chai Love Spring 2013 dress.

Her sporty tri-colour frock with a cut-out waist is a fun look for Christina. I love the purple lip colour, which complements her dress.

The only downside for me is her Alejandro Ingelmo ‘Sophia’ pumps. Christina’s looks are often brought down by uninspiring footwear, and this is most definitely the case on this occasion.
