Marion Cotillard In Halpern & Filles à Papa – César Awards 2018

Marion Cotillard opted for two metallic looks on the night of the César Film Awards 2018 on Friday (March 2) in Paris, France, where she joined Penelope Cruz, Isabelle Huppert, Olga Kurylenko and Mélanie Thierry, who all had one look to her two.

Considering this is the French equivalent to the Oscars, this Halpern Fall 2018 feels way too casual, even with the train. I may have been more forgiving had she opted for those stunning red embellished booties, but one must consider that after being contracted for so long, that Marion perhaps is in a wear-what-I-want-when-I-want frame of mind.

Penelope Cruz In Versace – César Awards 2018

Penelope Cruz brought plenty of glamour to the red carpet at the César Film Awards 2018 on Friday (March 2) in Paris, France, alongside Isabelle Huppert, Olga Kurylenko and Mélanie Thierry.

The Spanish actress, who picked up an Honory Lifetime Achievement award, looked beautiful wearing a Versace strapless royal blue silk gown.

In terms of detail, the folded skirt and draped bustier provides plenty of drama to go along with that arresting hue.

Isabelle Huppert In Christian Dior Couture – César Awards 2018

Isabelle Huppert joined Olga Kurylenko and Mélanie Thierry on the red carpet for the César Film Awards 2018 on Friday (March 2) in Paris, France.

The actress looked resplendent wearing a Dior Spring 2018 Couture ivory draped dress which was statement-making without the drama.

This looks is all about the finer details, of which there are many. You’ll be hard pressed to find a single fault with this look.

In this dress, Isabelle continues to prove she is head-and-shoulders above the rest when it comes to refined elegance.

Olga Kurylenko In Christian Dior – César Awards 2018

Olga Kurylenko joined Mélanie Thierry on the red carpet for the César Film Awards 2018 on Friday (March 2) in Paris, France.

The actress played her cards right wearing a Dior Pre-Fall 2018 red and black tulle long dress styled with Dior ‘Rose Dior Pre Catelan’ Fine jewelry and a white ribbon in support of the #TimesUp movement.

Olga is one of the most elegant actresses to grace the red carpet. Some might have expected more in the hair and makeup department, but her beauty still shines through.

Mélanie Thierry In Christian Dior Couture – César Awards 2018

Stars wore white ribbons in protest at the violence against women at the “French Oscars” — the 2018 César Awards— on Friday (March 2) in Paris, where ‘120 Beats per Minute’, a powerful drama about AIDS activists in the 1990s, won best film.

Alongside her husband Raphaël, Mélanie Thierry showcased a new strawberry blonde hairstyle while wearing a darkly romantic Christian Dior Couture two-piece look.

I love how the whisper-weight black and gold striped tulle skirt brings some glamour to this look, and takes my mind off her eye makeup.

Some might feel that Mélanie didn’t dress the look up enough, but to me, this is what red carpet dressing in France is all about.

Dior shoes and a selection of jewels completed her look.

Lea Seydoux In Louis Vuitton – ‘César – Revelations 2018’ Party

Lea Seydoux attended the ‘César – Revelations 2018’ party on Monday (January 15) in Paris, France, joining Marion Cotillard and Diane Kruger.

I’m pretty confident you will have the same feeling when you see Lea in this Louis Vuitton lace gown – I miss her Miu Miu/Prada days.

That’s not to say that I dislike this LV gown outright, but it just doesn’t have that awe-inspiring magic I’ve come to expect from Lea.

Diane Kruger In Chanel – ‘César – Revelations 2018’ Party

After donning Chanel at The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party, the actress stepped out in the designer again at the ‘César – Revelations 2018’ Party on Monday (January 15) in Paris, France, joining Marion Cotillard.

Some had issues with her previous look so hopefully there will be more fans of this one which is also from the Spring 2018 collection.

The actress has had many special moments in Chanel. I don’t think this will be one of her most memorable outfits, but the flirtatious white mini shows off her typical hard-and-soft styling splendidly.

Forgoing the clear PVC boots on the runway, she incorporated sheer fabric with black ankle boots, which enhanced the black bow on the frock while grounding the cloud-like shoulders and hem.

Her tousled waves echoed the voluminous lace details.
