Mélanie Thierry In Stella McCartney – 2017 César Film Awards

Mélanie Thierry attended the 2017 César Film Awards on Friday (February 24) in Paris, nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category.

Providing a sprinkling of sophisticated shine for the occasion, her Stella McCartney dress is not only captivating for being intricately adorned with shimmering sequins but also for its arresting raspberry hue.

I’m sure some will say the hair and makeup are a tad bland, but I kinda like this not overdone look which she styled with nude sandals.

Amal Clooney In Atelier Versace – 2017 César Film Awards

While the 2017 César Film Awards on Friday (February 24) in Paris was a celebration of French talent with Isabelle Huppert taking home the best actress award, the night belonged to Amal Clooney.

As someone who applauds a “plus one” dressing as in the manner of a leading lady, this Atelier Versace gown – inspired by the Spring 2017 collection – received a standing ovation from me.

The esteemed lawyer, activist and mother-to-be looked breath-taking with the delicate gradient feather accents cascading down the gown only adding to the spine-tinglingly allure.

She accessorized her look perfectly with Lorraine Schwartz jewels, a white Versace clutch on one arm and a dashing silver-fox on the other.

Anna Mouglalis In Chanel Couture – 2017 César Film Awards

Chanel ambassador Anna Mouglalis attended the 2017 César Film Awards on Friday (February 24) in Paris alongside Ana Girardo, Isabelle Huppert and Soko.

This look had me baffled.

Why?

Because if Karl Lagerfeld graced me with a €100,000 Couture dress, the last thing I’m going to do with cover it with a coat.

Especially a dress where its most interesting feature are on the shoulders.

It would be an honour to get frostbite in Chanel Couture.

Ana Girardot In Alexandre Vauthier Couture – 2017 César Film Awards

Ana Girardot attended the 2017 César Film Awards on Friday (February 24) in Paris alongside Isabelle Huppert and Soko.

Some might say her Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2016 Couture sheer gown leaves a lot to be desired, but the magpie in me is drawn to those sparkling accents.

The fact that Ana’s presents this look in such a relax manner, no makeup and natural tresses makes me feel less perturbed by the fact that I can see her knickers.

Soko In Gucci – 2017 César Film Awards

SoKo made an unforgettable entrance on the red carpet for the 2017 César Film Awards on Friday (February 24) in Paris wearing a Gucci Spring 2017 gown.

What might be too frothy for some, is a stunning evening gown to others.

Where do I stand? With the latter of course.

I just love the juxtaposition of someone as wild and untamed as Soko wearing such a whimsical fairytale gown.
